Positive experience: Good course and mix of challenging and fun holes

Negative experience: If you fancy looking out over a fly-strewn windowsill to a view of Newhaven incinerator, as you sip coffee from a paper cup, then this is the place for you.

Fantastic experience: Played 9 holes today course in good condition along with the greens. Nice friendly green keepers had a nice chat with. Not busy & a great price. We’ll be coming back ‍♂️

Negative experience: Played there yesterday course was a disgrace should not have been open all paths were thick with mud temporary tees were a disgrace having said that greens were ok club house has no heating due to fact that owners will not get boiler fixed or replaced can’t have shower after getting caked in mud the place could be a great club if the owners took an interest in it but all they want is the members money

Negative experience: 1 star as sadly its being knocked down and turned into MORE housing.

Positive experience: Decent 9 hole course, great value too £9 each for 4 ball on Sunday afternoon in October. Quite a few blind shots on various holes, which made it quite challenging ! Nice views of the Downs from some of the holes

Positive experience: We booked for a Christmas Party with approximately 70 ladies, not enough seating apparently as only a Finger Buffet you don't need to sit!!! this was managers reply . 2 bar staff who couldn't cope plus they needed change so one was on phone to manager for quite awhile, it took 15 minutes at least to be served... For a Christmas Party and the £250 for room hire it would have been nice for some Christmas decorations.. the buffet was good apart from no butter with cheese and biscuits... We won't be booking again, it took ages to get replies when trying to book this venue, in this climate after all that's been going on over last few years you would have thought they would have snatched our hands off!!! When I paid prior to this party the lady behind bar really didn't know what she was doing, no receipt for money, I had to take a photo of her till receipt, very unprofessional.. I've been in hospitality for over 40yrs so I know how things are meant to be having organised bigger events than this....

Fantastic experience: A little James Braid masterpiece. Beautifully designed 9 holes in good condition today. Greens were quick and true. The course isn't long but certainly tests golfers of all abilities.Very enjoyable game.

Negative experience: Absolutely Appalling DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE GYM it is a complete rip off. Despite signing a standing order for 3 months the Club took four months and I have been trying to get a refund for 4 months now. I have emailed and spoken to the Manager and still Emma has not had the courtesy to return a call or email. Management is a shambles!

Fantastic experience: The golf course is a little James Braid gem. They way he's used these hills is just fantastic. The views are obviously amazing. It's a 9 banger played from different tee boxes on the back 9. Every hole is memorable with the elevation changes and blind shots and small greens you have to negotiate. I just find this course so much fun to play. Enjoy. 5hcp

Negative experience: No disabled access, no disabled toilet. Had to sit in wheelchair down in reception in the passage, where the toilets are, while the event took place in the clubhouse up a very steep and long staircase. No disabled facilities.

Negative experience: The only good thing about this gym is how cheap it is! And there is a reason as to why it is so cheap. They have no security so anyone can walk into the gym. All of their CCTV cameras do not work so I had the joyful experience of having my car smashed in by someone in their car park. Half the equipment in the gym is broken or just doesn’t work. All the staff are very rude and not helpful! Except one lovely lady named Zoe! I have been at this gym for 3 years now and made 5 other people join this gym! I have been a great customer and haven’t received any good customer service from this gym at all! I will be making sure all the people I know to cancel their memberships and go somewhere else! PLEASE DO NOT PARK YOUR CAR HERE! Save your money and go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Visited yesterday as my 13yo son took part in a golf match for his home club against Peacehaven. From the minute we arrived we were both made to feel so welcome. The staff were so lovely and kind. The views from the clubhouse and at the top of the course, which was challenging in the wind, were so beautiful. We had a fab day indeed.

Fantastic experience: Challenging course, windy up and down with some interesting holes blind drives and longish par 3s. Simple and possible to score if long off the box. Not pretentious and rewarding if putting well. Greens need placing allowed as the odd crow hole. as

Positive experience: Very testing 9 hole course. Greens currently in excellent condition but the real test is dealing with the constantly changing wind direction. Very definitely a " value for money" golfing venue.
