Fantastic experience: I have to get a little something from you

Negative experience: It's ok for what it is but it is constantly breaking down. The only reason why it's not getting a one star review is because some of the staff and the teachers are superb. Unfortunately, whenever you talk to the manager Craig he can't really do much, not sure what the manager stands for if everything needs to be consulted to his superiors. Only two showers work ok and two are completely out of order, this is out of 6 showers. They don't seem to get the shower heads cleaned either. Hope that with the new gym addition in the upcoming months they start reinvesting in basic maintenance.

Positive experience: Good place for spending time and if you like swimming and wanna do cardio then this place is for you but there is no equipment for workout like dumbbells, bars Etc

Positive experience: The pool is ok, unfortunately it's quite often closed at the weekends for parties and there doesn't seem to be a good way to find out until you turn up and there is a sign outside. The gym is small though I think getting made bigger soon. The cafe is nice enough when you are lucky enough for it to be open.

Fantastic experience: I'm staying in the area,this centre was local so I popped in to get a swim on Sunday morning 16 Jun. The lady on the desk was brilliant assisting me,it was very well priced with a sauna/steam room at very reasonable extra cost. Although I didn't use any other facilities the whole set up looks great including the nice powerful and hot showers afterwards also looks great for families which there was a good few in with babies as well. One very sensible thing I observed was a notice being displayed that if you ask permission from management you may take photos of those precious lovely moments of your littlies learning to splash/swim about Personally I think this is a sensible approach not everyone should be tarred wit the same brush! My local centre has a similar approach being that a member of management can view any photos and decide they're appropriate and decent which means for me being a grandparent of four means I have some snaps of precious swim time together.. excellent I fully Recommend this place

Fantastic experience: Staff are friendly and helpful. There are set times to book a lane which is helpful when you want to swim up and down.

Negative experience: Waste of time booking for medium swim lane. At one point there were 3 other people in the lane whose swimming was slow and 2 of them obviously hadn’t booked the medium lane. They moved in to the lane after swimming up and down in the pool and the pool got a bit busier.

Fantastic experience: Cracking kids' pool, which is usually heated. It's just the right size to build the confidence of my 2 year old.

Positive experience: Visited the gym (and dry changing area) only. Of the three Enjoyleisure Centres I have used, this has the worst gym. If I was scoring out of a hundred then I’d have given it about seventy-one percent, i.e. only just in the four star range (70 - 89%) The gym is spread over two rooms. The equipment (treadmills, rowing machines, weights machines) are good quality and in good condition. The free weights are not quite up to reasonable home gym standard. There is no weights area. The heaviest dumbbell is 5kg. The single barbell can be loaded up to 45kg (plus the bar itself weighing about 2kg). There is no weights bench. The dry changing area was clean and roomy. The lockers were a good size and plentiful, but finding one that worked took a few tries. I found the air-conditioning too cold and too blowy - that’s probably just me - but i’d take a hoodie in to prevent injury. The music was, as is usual for most gyms, far too loud for me. (My experience is that most people who like music have their headphones in, so don’t want loud music playing - I wish someone would do a proper study on this.) The receptionist was pleasant. There were classes going on, which seemed well attended, and the pool was in use (unlike Tranent Loch Centre where the pool is dry and has not been used for months).

Fantastic experience: Great pool and lovely cafe, we enjoyed lunch there today. The chef / server lady was amazingly juggling lots of orders and always happy to help… delicious food. Great staff!

Fantastic experience: We've not been for a while, but took our 6 and 3 year old. Good size with a infant and baby pool, with a separate large 25m pool for more experienced swimmers. The main benefit is the warm temperature in the baby pool, which you don't always find in public pools. Easy access with parking outside and a good location in Haddington. We drove through from Portobello, Edinburgh as its worth the 20min drive and we can then enjoy lunch or a wander around Haddington after or before.

Fantastic experience: Despite the pool being closed today Norma on reception was very helpful and was able to ring another local pool and find of it was open .

Fantastic experience: Took my son fir his first swim. Great cause they have a dedicated baby pool which is much more shallow than the regular pool and is also warm. Cafeteria is great, lovely food and staff are brilliant.

Positive experience: Average swimming pool with separate baby pool. Viewing area from the cafe. Lots of changing cubicles including family size. Car park was quite small and busy, not very many spaces left.

Positive experience: This is your typical local authority sports centre. We have used the swimming pool every day during our holidays. The staff are friendly and the facility is clean. The pool has never been busy during our stay. Changing facilities, lockers and showers are mixed and fairly basic.

Positive experience: Small but good. Clear covid measures and easy to book online swim lanes.

Negative experience: Arrived for a swim having checked the website for opening hours. On arrival the pool was shut for mantinence. Staff were apologetic but shame to EnjoyLeisure for not using their own website.

Positive experience: Great local asset, been allowing us to keep fit physically and mentally for decades. Recently updated which helps. Decent sized pool, not too cold. The sauna/conditioning rooms are a bit small. Decent sized hall, though again could be bigger. Cafeteria is again no bad, generally clean and isn't hugely expensive but isn't cheap either. Again it's a bit smaller than is currently required, nevermind the presumed increase in users with the huge amount new houses being built. The staff do a reasonable job, though more resources would be useful. As local sports centres go, the Aubigny centre is average. Would be a lot better if it was relocated and doubled in size. 3/5

Positive experience: Giving it 4 stars as it's not a very modern sports complex but they have a great baby pool (always warm) and are wheelchair accessible. Work well with schools in the area to facilitate use for children with disabilities.

Fantastic experience: Went to watch my nephew at swimming lessons, had a nice relaxing coffee and could sit and watch him aswell. Nice little cafe prices reasonable. Plenty leasure activities, crèche available if needed. Wheelchair accessible. Friendly helpful staff.

Negative experience: The centre is heavily utilised and badly needs upgraded, e.g. small gym, broken lockers, roof often leaks leading to cancellations, car park too small. Staff are friendly and helpful though.

Fantastic experience: I use the baby pool here - it's heated nice and warm for wee bodies and has great changing facilities with tables and little chairs for babies and toddlers. It's clean and staff are freidnly and helpful.

Positive experience: Good for kids lessons. Hard to find times to use the pool out with lessons and other swimming activities. Kids pool can be lovely and warm, but also cold which makes small children reluctant to go in occasionally. Try and keep the temperature a little more even. Staff are lovely and helpful. Take your time as the changing rooms are very slippy.

Positive experience: Children's splash pool definitely one of the warmest in the area but beware the changing room floors which can be slippy!
