Negative experience: “Apart from having to listen to the white racists nearly every time I visit the Spa” said someone in one of their reviews, it’s not ok. Because that added to the poor customer service and broken facilities is so annoying. I signed up for the membership because of the proximity but in the last four months I didn’t visit the place more than 10 days. There is literally nothing to look forward to. Broken sauna room, (never open in the course of the past four months), a jacuzzi with a lot of chlorine it will pull off healthy skin, steam room open and close often times, even when it’s working it’s untidy and suffocating. What actually pushed me to to leave this review tho is the rude customer service. There is this staff member who I constantly see arguing with visitors. We were in the jacuzzi waiting for it to start and the two staff at the counter would look at us and laugh in mockery. After waiting for about an hr for the jacuzzi to start bubbling I had to ask one of them when it’s about to start and he shows me a 10 min wait sign. I waited with other people of course and some had to leave and then when I see it’s just useless to just sit and wait my kid asked me to take her to a bathroom, I took her to a Beth room and when we come back it was starting. One of the staff members had the nerve to tell me here it started (right after an hr and some minutes) I looked surprised and he was pissed. He knocked the window in anger and wanted to speak with me furiously. I met him half way went to the counter and told him that was just mean with a straight face unbothered face. To that he had to reply there are signage at three places for you guys not to sit on the bubble tubes and all. I went to my friend in the pull and told her to scoot over, but no he shows me another gentleman who was on the other side of the pull, well hows that my responsibility. We experience racism daily basis it’s not something new but racism with ignorance at its best is served at this broken facility. The changing room is stinky and broken to make the matter worse there is this staff member who makes visits and says to our faces hmm something smells and she goes ahead and asks other customers do you smell something to which the customers reply no but then she keeps coming to a point of making some people uncomfortable to a point of leaving the premises. It’s a joke. I am not paying a dime more to be treated like that.

Negative experience: The sauna is broken and is not getting repaired the steam room only works from time to time facilities run down and staffs attitude towards people with. Disabilitys isn't the best not value for money or for health

Negative experience: Rude, unhelpful staff, never answer phones, ring out constantly. NO notifications on Facebook or other socials to say that some things are closed for repairs when you take time out to turn up, then have to go home again

Negative experience: Changing rooms soaked throughout on a daily basis which is a major slip hazard. They ask you to bring a your own padlock for the lockers but they are unusable because they're too rusty to even open. lol. No paper towels in changing rooms. The place is on its way down for sure. New Low unlocked. so we are quitting our membership and going to a place that can have functioning changing room facilities and staff that care. Staff are not that bothered though. Worst gym in town. Fantastic experience: After seeing reviews on a certain fire alarm at 3 a.m., I had to post my feelings. Thank God the fire alarm went off even if it was a fault that's it job to warn even though it was nothing. For the staff, I thank you for being calm and professional when people are shouting at you at 3.20am in the morning not much they boys can do about that. I also had a small child with me who was also upset but not at a firm alarm it was due to a man shouting very loud and angryim front kids. Will be back again as I love the place very smart and tidy. We'll done staff

Negative experience: I wish I could give this place zero stars. Whole facility needs an upgrade. The changing room floors are soaking wet. The pathways are dirty, walls crumbling from damp. When I last visited there was an extremely unsanitary incident involving a #2 in and around the Jacuzzi. If it wasn't for the people I was with taking action, the staff wouldn't have done anything. Even with us bringing the mess to the staff's attention, nothing was immediately done to clean the area nor did they seem to want to acknowledge that the mess had spread to the swimming pool. Staff continued to let parents and children into the pool despite the contamination. I'll never go back, nor will I ever feel clean again.

Negative experience: In need of a renovation. The changing room floors are always soaked meaning if you just come in to use the gym you’re going to get wet while changing. I get the impression the toilets and showers haven’t had a deep clean in years. Theres hairs and dust and grime on the floor and it feels unsanitary. The gym is alright for cardio, not if you want to lift weights. Too many people use the gym for its size- half the time I’m there I’m waiting for someone to be finished with the equipment. The only reason I’ve kept my membership so far is because of the sauna and steam room, which are small, but do the job. The pool is okay but small and usually is full of children playing so don’t expect to be able to get laps in. Overall I think this place could do with a deep clean and renovation and I would continue to go here.

Positive experience: Not enough lockers and always untidy . Times could be better gym machines look tired , running machines squeak that old

Negative experience: The spa is unclean and in disrepair. There was standing water in the bathroom (literally standing in a half inch of water while on the toilet) and a noticeable smear of blood by the lady’s receptive (was there all day). That left me not trusting the cleanliness of the whole place and then there was this huge infected looking booger thing on the wall by the stairs up to the sauna. It was so gross and does not make you want to get into water with people. Also, there was a bunch of mold/mildew on the grout in the experience showed so it wasn’t really the right experience. All in all just gross and not as relaxing as you’d hope because it was also super busy (on a Monday afternoon?). Heard from the man of the group that of the two showers in the men’s changing area only one worked and that it was going haywire and was painful. They obviously need more money going to repairs and staff. There was only one woman to check people in and answer the phone and I saw her attempting to clean as well.

Negative experience: Pathetic experience with this Gym. No proper ventilation in gym, no AC running. After multiple complaint also no fix on AC issue. Provided just one small table fan that also stopped working after few days. Too much suffocating in gym. Dont recommend at all for Gym.

Negative experience: Pool, sauna and steam room not opened. Wasted an entire morning and my day pass travelling here just to be met with a very subpar gym. Only notification about the closing was from a Facebook post...

Positive experience: Apart from having to listen to the white racists nearly every time I visit the Spa, it's ok. Then there's the bar meals, £16 for a cheese burger and chips that was very over priced. I could have bought it elsewhere for half of that. No side salad no nothing very plain, boring and poorly presented. Also the sticky toffee pudding was poorly presented and the portion was small. I did eat all that was put down to me to be fair, but as I said I thought it was over priced and boring.

Positive experience: Nice swimming pool sauna and steam room only fault was that on entry twice now I have not been told that there was part of the facilities closed or out of order... at the price theh should let you know this before paying and entering so you can decide.

Positive experience: Just enough equipment for what you need.. the same is small but adequate. Lots of cardio options, dumbell rack and 2 benches. Some small machines. Sauna steam room and pool. Change room with lockers, showers and towels provided.

Positive experience: Good range of gym and wetside facilities with a Mediterranean feel. Loads of natural light. It's on three levels which may not suit all - likewise a spiral staircase from pool to hot rooms. Small changing rooms. Avoid peak times. Friendly staff. Free parking

Positive experience: Visited this place for two weeks and was quite satisfied with what I found there. Free towels (6/8 smelling fresh), free padlock, helpful staff and well positioned in the city. The only minus was: the sauna wasn't working all the time, the temperature was very low when worked and had to buzz the staff to raise the temperature most of the times. Good place to spend some time overall!
