Positive experience: Brilliant staff, great swimming pool, sauna and steam room next to swimming pool so very lucky the way it's set up. I .go most days as do a lot of the same people. Simply a great facility for all your needs gymnasium are excellent

Positive experience: Pool, sauna and steam room good

Negative experience: The place is filthy, swimming pool is split in the middle going the long way (for swimming classes) which leaves very little space for the rest of the kids to swim about.

Negative experience: very rude staff glad I cancelled my membership

Fantastic experience: Take the kids here for their swimming lessons, staff are great. The facilities inside could probably do with an update, doesn't look like it has changed since I used to come here when I myself was a kid.

Positive experience: Helpful staff. Some TLC in areas of the building would do it no harm. Sadly it lacks a cafe area.

Negative experience: They took a while to fix the treadmills around Christmas time. Today, only four are working and the rest are out of order. Not worth the gym membership especially if they are increasing the price. How long will it take this time to fix them this time. Really poor care for the facility and serious work is needed

Negative experience: had a bad fall coming out of the steam room couldn't see the step down more or less the same colour of tiles going round the rest of the pool need something different apart from that great.

Positive experience: I enjoy going there. However, I hope the council will consider upgrading or even revamping the changing area.

Positive experience: Only talking about the swimming pool here, a bit old and lack of maintenance especially the shower area but still does the job, staff are super nice. Usually packed Saturday because of lessons. Water is warm enough for my kid to stay in for 2 hours.

Positive experience: This is a great facility. The only thing I find difficult to look at on each visit is how tired the place is. Broken showers, broken lockers, steam room out of order. The place just looks really tired.

Positive experience: Could do with upgrading ,lockers don't always work. Changing rooms small for disabked clients. Staff very helpful. Could be cleaner underfoot, alwayas an issue with outdoor shoes in bad weather. What happened to overshoes? Parents and dirty pram wheels don't help .

Negative experience: Poorly managed leisure centre No sprung floor ,no mirrors , As the current Manager uses the fitness studio ,s for office staff since covid . Racket sports currently run at the same time as fitness classes ,balls flying in at the same time ancient fitness spin bikes .

Positive experience: I attend for my children’s swimming lessons. the swimming changing rooms could do with alan good clean or better yet updated, they are not the cleanest. There is not a spectator area for watching the swimming lessons so advised to sit outside at a seating area within the entrance and watch from a tv screen, there are not enough seats for all parents and most seats you cannot see the screen due to there only being 1. The viewing area is situated at entrance which means all service users have to walk through here to go back and fourth to classes which i would imagine can not be very comfortable. When signing up my children i was told parents drop kids off then have to wait in the waiting area(entrance of leisure centre) I have been doing as instructed but I notice there are adults all around the changing facilities watching their children in lessons, which i assume they have also had the same advice not to do. I do not feel comfortable with this. There is no proper security or observation to monitor this. I also had a very rude staff member approach me and addressed my child which i was not happy about at all. After the lesson my child with all other children went to shower and because the soap from showers had been walked into the pool area, he assumed it was my daughter because she walked over and stood beside me whilst talking to instructor, there were a few children that done this yet my child was singled out because she was last child there. We are only a couple weeks starting the swimming lessons and my observations have not been great so far, different teacher every class and not yet anything taught. I am keeping an open mind though…..

Fantastic experience: Great first visit to this for the swimming pool. Was my sons first swim.

Positive experience: The staff were helpful. The small pool was nice and warm. The changing facilities were good, but some of the lockers were lying wide open and I bashed my head. I would go back again though.

Positive experience: Was fine until last November 2022 when most of the machines got a red card hardly any thing was working all the weight machines through the back some treadmills and most of the bikes out of order still a bit like this today April 11th 2023 complained but got no response but still took my membership money every month even though we can hardly use anything not happy with this service

Positive experience: Only really use the pool. Only thing I don't like is that lots of people using the sauna/steam room jump directly into pool....a bit minging!

Positive experience: Broken bikes, scooters ditched in the skate park. Litter all over the place. Folk trying to burn the place down. I wish people would treat this place with a little more respect.

Positive experience: Decent equipment, the pool is small but nice. The steam room is good and hot. Everything in good condition, so far it's worth the monthly fee.

Fantastic experience: I used the main pool here. It's nothing fancy, no water slides or flumes, but it's absolutely fine for a swim. There is also a small children's pool for the wee ones. I must also say that each time I have been here the staff have been extremely kind and helpful - I was with a disabled person and they couldn't do enough to make our visit easier, even finding a suitable changing cubicle for us. So a big thank you to Lynn and all the team, you are appreciated

Fantastic experience: 0 I tried to go once the swimming and sauna for health reasons and I will adventure into going to gem gym

Negative experience: The pool was ok a little out dated the sauna and steam room where fine however to toilets stunk to high hell so much so I stopped of at asda to get deodorant as I smell stuck to me and a drink as I could taste it I wouldn't recommend. I only visited as Hamilton water place is close for 2 weeks.

Positive experience: Good pool but changing rooms and toilets are not very clean. Toilet bowls are disgusting. Sinks nearly hanging off walls. After all the time shut thought it might have given them a chance to CLEAN the toilets and changing rooms. Little pool not being open is ridiculous. Why is it shut. Been told it was staff shortages but surely they could get staff.

Positive experience: A good gym and swimming pool with everything you need to keep fit. The staff are always helpful and friendly, everyone that goes to this gym is the same. When you first go to the gym the staff show you how every machine works until you fully understand for your safety. Which is clearly very important to the staff here. The staff in the swimming are much the same. The gym is clean and everyone wipes down machines after use, this has always been what people do before and after covid. The swimming pool isn't quite as clean and is a bit aged but as of writing this they are doing renovations. The leisure centre has good value for money you can either pay a monthly fee for a membership that includes all of South Lanarkshire or pay when you arrive. It's very cheap to pay when you go but if you are a regular you are better buying a membership. The leisure centre is great with everything you need, the pool is a bit aged but as I say they are doing a renovation right now. I will update my review to a 5 star if they succeed there. Good leisure centre. 4/5 stars
