Fantastic experience: Great friendly gym environment. The PT Rob is really helpful. Can’t wait for the refurb to be finished!!

Negative experience: This is absolutely ridiculous me and my friend were banned from using the swimming pool but we go inside to see why were banned because we done nothing wrong and we wanted to know the reason why so we ask them and they said we were mucking about harassing the public who were using the swimming pool at the same time we were in there but we done nothing wrong we were in the shallow end of the swimming pool and there was another group of teenagers in the deep end and the life guards thought we were all together but that wasn’t the case so they kick us all out when me and my mate done nothing wrong so we speak to the manager about it and they said we’re banned for the rest of the summer but we done nothing wrong so we keep negotiating saying we were in a different group and they said to us give us 2 minutes so we wait they come back out and they said 2 of my friends are unbanned but not me I am African and both my friends are from Britain so I start to stay why am I not unbanned and they said because I was worse then everything else but I done nothing wrong absolutely nothing so I say is this racism because I’m African and they start shouting at me saying get of the premicise now so that’s just indicating that the only reason why I’m not allowed back in is because I’m black this is absolutely disgusting because I get racially abused every day and I’ve had enough of this first it’s just drunk white men just shouted at me calling me racial words and now I’m getting banned from places because of my skin colour this is discrimination it’s disgusting and it can’t go on bare in mind I’m only 14 years old I’m never going to a leisure centre in Wiltshire ever again it is horrible and this can not go on if I can give it 0 stars I would

Fantastic experience: The leasure centre has everything you need from a full length pool, exercise classes and a very well equipped gym space with all the equipment you need for a good workout. Receptionist are amazing and all the staff go above and beyond to make the building run as smoothly as possible. Gym staff are very helpful and definitely know what they are doing with the equipment provided. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Nice pool. Helpful staff. Online booking per individual only, really annoying for a family swim. Shame to bother the staff with phoning /queueing and them manually doing it. I rate the booking system 0/5!

Positive experience: I'm giving 3 stars for the nice staff but the showers are dank and dirty if they cleaned the vents it would help air flow! I emailed them about this, got a polite reply but nothing changed!

Positive experience: Cardio suite Equipment rusting and in constant need of repair. Gym free weight dumbbells are beginning to deteriorate and there’s a few being held together by ductape. Floor in the free weights area tends to be dusty and dirty. In general in need of a refit by Wiltshire council. Classes are good, gym staff are good.

Negative experience: The swimming pool was absolutely disgusting! The dirty inside the pool was horrendous and the water was salty! The showers were also dirty and scolding hot! Won't be returning!

Negative experience: Membership fees low but gym equipment is dated and there’s not enough of it eg: 2x25kg plates, 2 x 20kg plates. 1 bench press, 1 squat rack, 2 benches. If someone is training a similar programme to you it’s a pain. Difficult to train in busy periods (that’s only 4 or more people!) If it opened at 0600 it would be perfect, not many people train that early.

Positive experience: A decent leisure centre! The gyms machine section is good enough but the free weights are lacking a bit for those of us that are focusing on strength training. Overall worth a membership, the pool is great.

Positive experience: Great local lesiure centter, little tired but all needed is there. Mix of busy and quite, well worth booking in advance to avoid disappointment. New wheelchair pool lift I'd great for those that need it.

Positive experience: Decent swimming pool facilities, would've been four stars if the actual pool was bigger. Which meant all swimmers, if not confident, were crammed in shallow area. Lady safe guard looked like she wanted to be elsewhere. Male safe guard more friendly.

Positive experience: I previously reviewed here as 1 star because the pool was gritty on the bottom and the changing rooms smelt disgusting, both on more than one visit. So we stopped coming for almost a year. However, have recently returned and it is much better. Pool was clear and changing rooms were much cleaner. Staff are always helpful and friendly too.

Negative experience: On visiting this leisure centre i have find it to be very unfriendly and the staff are very rude . I feel very Intimidated as the staff stare at you as if you are from another world . And i am of the larger sizes this is very of putting . I have live in Wiltshire all my life and this is the worse gym and leisure centre i have experience. I also found alot of the staff on mobile phones and not interested in answering questions. On speaking to other people also using this centre they found the same . The reception are the worse as I would of expected them to be the face of the place and welcome people in . Not make me feel my membership is not welcome.

Positive experience: I wanted information about joining but found what brochures available difficult to understand. Unfortunately the lady on desk was not very helpful, she actually seemed uninterested in helping me.

Positive experience: The facility is adequate for most things, but, the swimming changing rooms are dire. As a 63 yr old woman I have to have a shower which is great if you are 7ft high! Then you have to dry off/change across a public area from the shower to reach the changing rooms which both men and women use and can see. Thereby getting dirty feet and the possibility of dropping everything you need..including the towel. Not very well thought out.

Fantastic experience: Great, professional service. I personally have used the gym and swimming pool. Our cricket team used the indoor nets for pre-season training. Wide variety of fitness and leisure facilities.

Fantastic experience: The duty manager Kieran and the lifeguard Matt are both a real credit to the leisure centre. Helpful and great role models for my son as they both helped out when his swimming lesson was cancelled...can't thank them both enough.

Positive experience: The staff are normally friendly and the centre is clean but it is expensive to swim and be prepared to turn up early for your swim session as it's normally very busy and they do have to turn people away, they could do with more family swim sessions. The gym is ok but very cramped and abit outdated. They also do children's party which are expensive for what you get and you have to provide your own food. The complex could do with a cafe and not just a few vending machines that hardly ever work.

Positive experience: If you want to take your kids swimming then you need to get there early! regularly run out of space. also the car park can get very busy at peak times. Although much developed over the years, the number of people the centre now caters for is larger than I think it can cope with at times.

Positive experience: A broad range of activities and sports on offer. We really appreciated the children's club over half term. The adult swimming classes have been the right level of encouragement and challenge for me after years of not swimming. Kettlebells, Body Tone and Ultimate Pump have seen me shift the tum and feel good about myself. Aquafit-a fun way to burn calories without me realising it. The Active Health instructor displays good post op cardiac care awareness. The reception staff have gone above and beyond to keep everyone abreast of changes during the recent building upgrade. Once the refit is complete the facilities will be as fantastic as the staff.
