Negative experience: Very disappointed even the gym have no weight scale

Negative experience: Overcrowded, dirty and with many machines and lockers broken for months on end. I gave this gym a chance for 6 months, but after nothing but a pretty terrible experience in cleanliness, unmaintained and downright broken machines, lockers which are either broken visibly, or have their locks set to a way that you can't physically close them the whole way to lock them. I'm not going to be renewing my membership. I don't know what the management do with all the money they collect from charging a not so cheap membership to a large amount of people, but it's certainly not being reinvested back into the gym.

Fantastic experience: I want to give 5 star for this gym for 25£, i think it’s not worthless for people, I joined this gym for 2 months I got good experience, it’s good for those who wants to come for exercise not for checking the product quality or check the dust of corners. Almost All equipments available, space, lookers, all are nice.

Positive experience: I use to go classes more than gym. The class studio need renovation the good classes is yoga and Pilates. But they have the worst Zumba and spinning instructor.

Negative experience: A few machines broken or falling apart, gym classes are scarce, and changing rooms are sometimes smelly. Lots of work needed. One very positive aspect is the staff, many of whom are always helpful and friendly.

Positive experience: good gym with really friendly staff and people. the equipment usually works well, if not perfectly. the dumbells tend to get thrown about a bit and end up in different places which can be inconvenient.

Negative experience: Title: Disappointing Experience at Buzz Gym I joined Buzz Gym two months ago, and I have some negative observations about this gym. Firstly, the equipment is somewhat poor, and broken machines are not fixed promptly. There are exercises in my routine that require specific machines, and when I see them out of order, it frustrates me greatly and makes me reconsider my membership at this gym. As for the bathrooms, they are not clean at all. The sanitizers within the gym are not available, and there are no paper towels. When I signed up, I read on their page that they provide excellent service, but I was surprised to find the opposite. The gym managers should either replace some of the equipment or repair them immediately, as more than a quarter of the machines have "out of order" signs on them. I believe that Buzz Gym earns a lot of money from members like me, so they should provide excellent service to their customers, or everyone will switch to other gyms like The Gym. Well, after your reply, i am just posting this little video. Is not a big problem in the video but, this might get broken while I am working on it!!!!

Positive experience: I once enjoyed buzz gym, however it has become very hard to work out especially in the women’s room… there is no space to even turn around fully not to mention there isn’t any good equipment in there unless you go out on the main gym where the men look at you like they’ve never seen women before. I only come to the gym at night where I can park my car on the main road.. the free car park is WAY too tight for someone that drives 4 X 4 or I will pay if I come early in another car park. I will not be renewing after this month unfortunately. AND IT SMELLS REALLY BAD SOMETIMES

Positive experience: OK this is what I don't get about all this trendy gyms, They let their ego make the rules make the rules for them rather than common sense, Locker clear out every month makes sense, But every week! And your reasons are ppl are getting too comfortable! I come to this gym bcos it's easy to train and go work, And that locker makes my life easier, So breaking into it every week is basically shooting yourself in the foot bcos their's 100 of us that shares the views, Ps while we at it, fix your stupid cross cables you have 5 and 3 are constantly out of order divert your energy there

Negative experience: Regrettably, I find myself compelled to leave a one-star review for BuzzGym, a place I once held in high regard since it first opened. The gym has become intolerably overcrowded, making it a challenge to even complete a workout without bumping into someone. The equipment situation is dire, with a significant portion consistently out of service—a testament to the gym's rapid decline in quality. The post-COVID era has not been kind to BuzzGym, yet there seems to be little interest from management in rectifying the situation. It's particularly disheartening to see the lack of reinvestment into the facilities and overall member experience. The leadership, spearheaded by CEO Adam, appears to have shifted focus away from the core values that once made BuzzGym a standout establishment. This isn't just about a gym not meeting expectations; it's about a stark departure from the principles of customer care and service quality. The disillusionment comes not from unmet fitness goals but from witnessing the neglect of a community that deserved better. To those considering BuzzGym, I urge you to look elsewhere. Your investment in health and fitness deserves a venue that values its members and maintains a standard of excellence. BuzzGym, sadly, is no longer that place. Farewell (after so many years), and here's to finding a better alternative.

Negative experience: Expensive compared to other gyms and way too busy.

Fantastic experience: The Best Gym in Slough for the place construction, free weights, squat, and staff members and Coaches are very helpful.

Negative experience: The area around the changing rooms smells like sewage - this is apparently an ongoing problem. The gym just isn't cleaned regularly - you can see balls of dust and hair on the floor. The mats are constantly dirty. I saw the cleaning lady just going around with a hoover, surely the floors should also be moped? Just quite grim to be honest.There is equipment missing that people have stolen and they just haven't replaced. Equipment is everywhere, never seems to be tidied (although it falls down to the individuals to also help). The floor plan makes it quite an overwhelming experience and the music is just sooo loud I shouldn't be able to hear it over my noise cancelling headphones. The instructors are also quite unhelpful, rather stay chatting to their friends than help others. The main reason why I joined this particular gym over others in the area was the 'lady's room', the room is super small, no ventilation so it smells quite bad quite quickly. Instead of having just weight racks bit it could deal with being swapped with a smith machine instead. So yeah as you can probably gather I will not be renewing my membership and I think that you probably shouldn't bother going here.

Negative experience: If you like small, over crowded and cramped spaces filled, with bad mannered, uncivilised and unwashed people leaching out at every turn, you’ll love this experience. A few good staff members are the difference. Overall, as long as you’re not looking for standards of old, re gym etiquette, washed people, paper towels to wipe machines or having room to think or work out undisturbed then yeah, its okay.

Negative experience: Toilets are always dirty and changing room is full of bad smell.

Fantastic experience: Good Gym and well maintained

Positive experience: The gym is nice and clean. The ventilation is fairly okay. And there are plenty of instruments to use. The only problem is that in the evening it gets quite crowded, and it becomes difficult to workout. Also note that if you're interested in using this gym, bring your own lock as you can't find any free locks for the lockers.

Negative experience: I joined this gym. The parking facilities are awful. You can only park for 2 hours on Herschel Street car park from 7am onwards. If you happen to go to gym before 7, have to disturb your workout, run out on the road or buckingham gardens car park before 7am to move your car and park in Herschel street car park (only for 2 hours). 2nd issue - Lockers - All bloody faulty. Buzz Gym prompts you to buy their padlocks to use on the lockers. When I reported the issue to Gym Staff, I was told, 'they are not the best lockers in the world'. Thats it. No further explanation. 3rd Issue - Lighting in the changing room are like little candles. They need propper daylight bulbs. They need Propper daylight bulbs. I used it only 2 or 3 times. Was so fed up with it. I cancelled my membership. Joined another gym in Slough with onsite parking (no time limit). Monthly price is similar. Very convenient, Wish I went to this gym earlier.

Positive experience: It's a good gym. Good selection of machines and despite being compact, everything's well placed.

Negative experience: I hope this gym runs better personal checks about their trainers. I had a misfortune to interact with (now former) PT Danielle Puddefoot, very rude and unqualified in safety procedures. Management didn't react on my email, when I raised the issue. Fun fact: she was charge with assault few years before my situation took place. No wonder she was rude and short tempered (to normal members, not to her clients, of course). I really hope it's different now and the current coaches are normal, competent people.

Negative experience: I am very disappointed ☹️ with this gym. Very loud music. I ask the people working there turn it down. But they didn't. Shame full act. Left me no chance to leave this gym and find another. I request other not to use this gym.

Positive experience: Lockers are terrible, they should find a way to stop some of the guys who think they own the place by just paying a monthly fee. Every time it's a struggle to find a locker. And more inclusive classes, more than half of the classes are ladies only and sometimes with places available...

Negative experience: Bad ventilation, Not as clean as before !

Negative experience: Came to try with a friend for the first time, tried to call but no one answered, we get to the gym but there’s no indication of what to do where to go, we get downstairs to the gym and instead of being welcomed we were told to leave by a guy who must’ve been just over 5 ft massively overweight and telling me he’s staff and that I never called, when asked about the day passes said they weren’t even doing them anymore but then it popped up that they were, not Very welcoming when Somone tells you you never called because they saw you coming down the stairs (like Ide call a gym while I’m outside if it) but even when we were coming down the stairs he didn’t come to assist us or help he just told us to leave, most unwelcoming gym I’ve ever been to, funniest part was the guy looked like he lived in his mums basement, tiny fat guy who wore a weight belt to look like he can lift

Fantastic experience: Had been going there for almost 3 months now. Their classes and Coaches are great. Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a decent gym at Slough. Try to stick to off-peak hours

Negative experience: Good range of equipment but lots of the machines need servicing so don't work as well. Half the cable machines don’t work properly and need servicing, horrible to use . Lockers are all broken so you can’t keep personal items safe. Gym is also always rammed and it stinks of BO. Hygeine in the gym is very poor and it always feels super dirty in there like you're going to catch covid. If they had more cleaners in more frequently, had more sprays and tissues around, got rid of the BO smell and maintained/ services their equipment better it would be a better gym.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, lots of equipment from cable machines to plated loaded. Due to the variety of equipment, I didn’t encounter any waiting and allowed for a good leg day

Positive experience: Great gym and wonderful staff, just a real shame the ladies only section is SO SMALL and no rowing machine! Why do women always get the worst end of the deal! Still paying same cost for membership. Surely there are so many more women working out now days, and a great need for these female only facilities in Slough!

Positive experience: Really nice atmosphere e.g. I left a nice wallet in gym. When i went back someone had handed in to staff. Generally friendly and god equipment aelection. Biggest gripe i have is showers smell awful, sewage smell. I had a shower once, never again. Not sure a deep clean would help as its obviously been left for too long. I can see why nobody uses the showers in there which is weird.

Positive experience: Best gym in terms of equipment in whole of Slough but had to point this one out, lack of accessories ( very few cable handles), no digital weighing scale and if any machines stops working, it will be out for a week. Imagine in such busy gym if one of the cable machine stops, literally increases the wait time for others. I will definitely gonna rate higher if they improve the maintenance of the gym

Negative experience: Im a member of buzz for a while, like a place, parking etc however what happened recently is absolutely ridiculous, they took so many new members that planning and doing workouts is almost impossible, obviously they don’t care about people’s comfort only about money, very disappointing:////

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym. Very clean and amazing atmosphere.

Positive experience: Great gym packed with state of the art equipment. There's 4 deadlifting platforms/squat racks, 4 (I think) bench press racks, more than enough adjustable benches and free weights. I was particularly impressed with the treadmills that can connect to apple/samsung watches.The functional training zone and boxing area offer great additional activities. The gym itself is fantastic, however the only thing holding it back from 5 stars is the lack of gym etiquette,you'll spend a lot of time running around looking for equipment strewn about the place.

Positive experience: Good gym, reasonable price, too much crowd in the evening times

Negative experience: The gym is really good, with the state-of-the-art equipment. Many people are visiting it, so sometimes you will wait in the queue until the person leave the equpment. If you are going to visit the club and you do not want to be robbed I advice you to use your personal lock to lock your storage cell. I am telling you based on my own experience of missing the clothes. In this case even CCTV will not help you. By the way, you are not going to receive any compensation as well.

Positive experience: Best gym in like a 10 mile radius . Only problem recently is the urinals smell like old piss . Been loyal to this gym for 3 (now 4) years and I live in London . Had to remove 2 stars after watching an employee at the gym shout at the entire gym for not unracking 1.25kgs on a bar. Id understand if it was chucked in the middle of the gym or if she asked customers politely . (Incident on 2/5/23 evening) if you encounter her i’d stay far away

Negative experience: Not very responsive to emails. I’ve been having an ongoing payment issue and not a single member of staff has tried to help or even emailed me back.

Fantastic experience: This gym is one of the best in slough in my opinion as it have everything you would essentially need at a great price the equipment is also to a good quality and I recommend you come here to try it out.

Positive experience: Overall good gym. Very tiny in space, toilets and showers could do with regular cleaning.

Negative experience: I cancel my membership after 2 years in this gym. The staff start being careless, they scream at you just for some weights left on the floor. The personal trainer spending more time on their phone instead of following the client( just few of them). The manager named Vanessa really rude with people. Would not recommend this gym.

Negative experience: Many of the lockers are broken. Kit is always lying around around, no gym etiquette. The gym area and the toilets do need a clean. The Gym Group and/or Pure Gym is significantly better for a similar price. Equipment is better quality, weight variation and overall quality at other gyms of a similar model.

Fantastic experience: This gym is very accommodating with autistic people unlike other gyms. Thanks to all the staff in particular the gym manager named Marcus for being extremely professional and carrying .

Negative experience: I got a bad experience as my door password was not working I called the staff but rather than helping or before investigation they started asking me rudely did you share you password with anyone so I asked to check there system and it was the system glitch and after that they let me in this was really something rude speaking with client soon will cancel the membership.

Negative experience: I left this gym after 8 months. I had problems when I tried to freeze my account, customer service they didn’t help at all , then i went to the branch and talked to the manger, manger that can’t help as well said to me you can cancel the membership and you can still come and use the gym tell the end of your membership (which was wrong advice)next day when i want to enter the gym I stayed outside waiting 10 minutes Then when they finally let me in they told me to be sure not to get injured because i am not a member so insurance is not covering me ???!!!? Which make no sense at all ( if i am not a member why u let me in ) so i felt like i dont want to be there , not great services .before i went to holiday and i freeze my account didn’t face this issues , But this time for some reason everything was bad, they took payment for one month that i only used for 15 mints, i prefer to go to far away gym instead of this gym even i live like 5 mints away from this gym, Never coming back to this gym! And you owe me one month payment back.

Fantastic experience: I am new in the area and I joined the gym 4 weeks ago . So far everything is so perfect. Absolutely love the classes and the ladies ( personal trainers) . A lot of equipment and always clean. Hair dryers and hair straighteners in a women's changing room are a good solution for women who needs to go to work straight after training. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Great gym! I’ve been going regularly for about 6 weeks now. Staff are nice and helpful. I like that the female only area has a wide range of equipment (including a squat rack and cable machine), not just cardio ones unlike Puregym. I did all my workouts in the female area for the first 1-2 weeks, but then I became more confident and now I’m using the free weights area. Members in general are very polite and respectful & everyone minds their own business. Clean gym with plenty of equipment! Overall highly recommend!

Positive experience: Decent gym outside of peak hours. If you go between 6pm and 10pm forget about getting any sort of exercise machine without waiting in line. Outside of this decent weight and cardio equipment. Toilets could use a more regular clean.

Fantastic experience: I've been training at this gym for well over 5 - 6 years now. The highlight of this gym are the incredibly helpful staff members who go above and beyond. I recently lost my car key at the gym whilst leaving my late training session. I returned the next morning and Waqaas & Kwadwo kindly took time out of their busy morning to help me locate my car key so I want to extend a thank you to them and further especially want to thank the staff member who found the key (on Monday evening 23rd September) and kept it safely in the locked office overnight. Note to management: please thank this person on my behalf if you know who it is. Thank you to all you guys, you've saved me £100s in key replacement and parking fines + I was able to make it to work on time for a crucial meeting. Thank you!!!! Keep up the great work Even outside of this experience, the gym has been incredible, the quality of training equipment and all facilities is absolutely brilliant and a steal considering the price. There is no other gym in Slough or surrounding areas that offers a combination of 24hrs gym access + free parking + prestine quality training equipment which is regular maintained. The particularly great thing about buzzgym Slough is the choice of equipment they've included. There are a vast array of machines, free weights and bodyweight training platforms. On top of this there are more than a multiple cardio machines of all kinds. Overall it has been a great 5 - 6 years of training at this place. Many more to go. Keep up the great work Buzzgym Slough team!!!
