Positive experience: Good basic facilities, lovely staff, clean. No doors on showers in men's or locks on the ladies.

Negative experience: Be aware that swimming sessions are limited to 45mins (despite being very quiet) and entry is timed accordingly so you cannot turn up and enter any time, phone to check (Be prepared to be put on hold for long periods). No café, only 2 vending machines. Spectator area is no longer open.

Positive experience: Great place to take kids for a swim, although the pool is a bit cool and the showers are a bit hot. Shame there's no cafe.

Fantastic experience: Saturday afternoon with a three year old could not be easier. One hour swim followed with some soft play. I paid for the swim, and the little one went in for free, and the Soft play was only a pound.

Fantastic experience: I go to the classes for the over 60s they are very good and very well attended, keeping us fit and out of the doctors

Positive experience: Very clean, friendly staff and well equipped.Just a shame the fitness suite isn't open until 12 on Mondays and Fridays.

Positive experience: Only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because the outside is looking rather grim. They've spruced the place up inside during their closure through covid, and they provide great classes etc, but the face of the build really does need a lift!

Positive experience: Only 45mins swimming per session. Tired changing rooms with no means of keeping the 3 changing cubicles shut. I had the embarrassment of having to change in the open area. Was only £3 though.

Positive experience: Looks a lot better on the inside than out. Helpful staff. Clean facilities. Large pool is only 4 lanes but there is a smaller training pool too. We will use it again.

Positive experience: Plascrug leisure centre has two pools a Small (10x10m) children's pool plus and a large pool (10x25m), four changing rooms, male, female, family (two rooms) and disabled. Small soft play, suitable for toddler - about 8 years. Large gym. Disabled access to every area, disabled toilets. Large free car park. Great leisure centre but sadly no cafe any more and pool opening hours are getting shorter each year.

Positive experience: Really good value if you're a student, mainly just use the gym, I find some of the machines in there to be uncomfortable especially the leg curl machine, however they have everything you need and it normally doesn't get too busy, the classes can be disruptive cause you can't use one of the rooms but that's only fair, haven't been to any of the classes but they have a very good range. Overall would recommend

Fantastic experience: Took my son swimming to this leisure centre. Very friendly staff and grateful for family changing rooms, where my autistic teen son and I could change together, much to the annoyance of other parents. Pool traditional shallow and deep ends. Viewing area available, but missing the cafe, which has been replaced with gym machines. Otherwise, great for a swim on a rainy day!

Positive experience: Good atmosphere in the gym, some good equipment, the old gym is very dated and the equipment isn't especially well maintained. But they seem to be inmproving. My favourite gym in Aber for the price

Positive experience: New gym equipment installed, plenty of choices of exercise classes, friendly staff but failed to offer places for people who need ACTIF even being suggested by the physiotherapist. The music being played during the circult session can reach 90 db so bring your ear plugs to protect your hearing.

Fantastic experience: They do a lot with what they have. Really liked the accessable play where they naturally involved my younger disabled son with one of the instructors getting in a sports wheelchair to play chase.

Positive experience: A very basic community leisure facility. New cardio equipment. Very restricted opening hours at the weekends. Pool is mostly used for county schools during the week term time. Lacks adequate changing and showering facilities. Needs to roll with the times and offer a more modern flexible service. A separate gym entrance with membership swipe cards would go a long way to providing a much needed 24 hour gym facility.
