Positive experience: Good place for kids' groups and activities. Friendly staff.

Negative experience: Had a terrible experience with them whilst pregnant. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Negative experience: Unsure of where else to leave this review but Healthworks run a series of free baby classes across the city in poor areas which is great however what isn’t great is the fact that they discriminate against formula feeding mothers. I was told in one group to make sure my bottle of formula and dummy were hidden so they wouldn’t be in any social media images as they promote breastfeeding over formula, I understand that but it’s alienating and discriminating against those of us who use formula. They need to recognise that not everyone can breastfeed! They even hold classes purely for breastfeeding mams called breastfeeding social, why not just call it feeding social so everyone feels included? So I can’t meet new mams and socialise just because I bottle feed? I’ve emailed them as instructed in their reply to this review and so far have had no response so that tells you all you need to know - they clearly aren’t bothered about discriminating people! It’s a shame as some of the classes are really good.

Negative experience: My wife is registered disabled and has a card and key to use any toilet in emergencies. Her condition means she has to use to toilet ASAP. Her GP sorted the card and key for her to show and use. She was refused the toilet by an extremely rude young lady on reception. Even after showing her the card and explaining. Absolute disgrace!!!

Fantastic experience: I am a lady who had very little self confidence but with the support of Shirley I am much happier with my life.She helped me with making a change to my diet and I am really positive about the person that I have become .I hope other people get the same support and patience that I received from Shirley . so a big thank you to Healthworks for bringing Shirley into my life .

Fantastic experience: The gym is good size, have all needed equipment and very helpful staff. Can be busy in the evening but generally quite quite place. They also run fitness classes but I have never been to any. All very cheap. Recommend for people living in the area.
