Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this gym for a few years. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. I really enjoy the variety of classes. Recently there has been a change of management and things are getting even better!

Negative experience: This gym is run by crooks my brother canceled his membership with these guys but they have been taking money out of his account and its been months. The banks keep saying to stop your direct debit you need to cancel with the gym first which I did months ago.

Negative experience: WiFi doesn't work in the first floor near treadmill etc..weighing machine doesn't work and still analogue in this century..no proper updates on working hours jn Google..today it shows closes 10 pm

Positive experience: I was a member of this gym some time ago. It is a fairly small gym but there is an upstairs with cardio equipment. For the ladies, there is a seperate gym space upstairs too, which I believe is accessible from the ladies changing room as well as from the upstaird unisex cardio room. The best part by far is the sauna, it's small but very hot. This is in the men's changing room, I assume the ladies have one as well. The price is unbeatable.

Negative experience: This is not a good gym, too small and cramped, machines not good either

Negative experience: It is affordable and inclusive, facilities needs more TLC certain things broken for a while... staff friendly and helpful, But policy on use of Sauna doesn't seem plausible as most clubs opened pools and saunas 3 weeks ago ! a fully vaccinated fully 'paying' member who can show 2 negative PCR tests a week should be allowed to use it. Apparently the sauna can be booked 'privately' !! ?? that's nice !

Positive experience: Good price for Chesham but it's busy all the time so you often spend a lot of your time waiting for equipment to free up Edit: Three star was harsh as just for the price alone it gets 4

Negative experience: Beware - many group exercise classes are not included in the monthly fee – they cost more (misleading website) You have to pay additional for the yoga, step, bounce and LBT classes, and this sometimes vary from week to week too which is weird. The website says ALL classes are included but this is misleading as many classes you have to pay for (just a few are included in the monthly subscription fee)

Negative experience: I keep receiving texts from Welcome Gym that I can't block. Have to pay to stop the texts. Appalling!

Fantastic experience: Great value and easy parking

Positive experience: First visit in six months! Well managed, good anti-virus precautions in place. Very quiet so not difficult to socially distance.

Fantastic experience: Really good gym. Equipment is replaced regularly, staff are lovely, it is keenly priced and also sensible and practical social distancing measures are in place.

Fantastic experience: Great to be back at the gym after lockdown. Well organised with plenty of sanitiser stations, friendly staff, and good spacing of active equipment. Everyone seems to be following the new rules and disinfecting as they go.

Positive experience: Staff are fantastic, machines and weights great and they have recently fixed the finger recognition entry. Only downside is that it is not huge and can have some pretty awful music playing (just like most gyms! ) *insert headphones*

Positive experience: This review is only based on the weights area, not the upstairs (cardio) section. A bit small and cramped in the weights area. Some of the equipment is old, grubby and damaged, there's a bench missing screws and parts of other machines are loose/broken or can fall off (I screwed a nut back onto one of the machines previously). Aside from that its probably the cheapest in the area (£20.99ish per month after the first) and the parkings free.

Positive experience: Decent range of equipment for all needs. Space limited but plenty of classes and competitive prices.

Positive experience: Great gym, excellent facilities, a few machines/ pieces of equipment my other gym had that this one doesn't so I do miss that. Clean changing facilities, shower and w/c. I've never used the sauna so can't comment, although they don't have changing cubes... It's all communal. Plenty of classes on offer included in the price, overall a great gym.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, good prices, classes and trainers on offer both free and at cost. Open long hours so great accessibility. Facilities are great with numerous showers and toilets and large changing rooms to cope with busy times. Every machine you can think of is available and a great set up of a women's only gym too!!

Fantastic experience: I am Steve Brown and I have been a member at Welcome Gym in Chesham for nearly 5 years. I never write a review unless I am truly passionate about something. I am on the Autistic Spectrum (Asperger Syndrome), and our little Gym is a massive part of my life now. I believe a gym is only as good as the people within. Everyone, that's the staff, P/T's and of course the members are one big friendly family! There is plenty of new fitness equipment this year, more free classes than you can shake a stick at. The Staff are helpful and supportive. Membership is really good value for money. Win Win, No brainer! Workout, improve your health, strength and fitness and make lots of new friends.

Negative experience: No air con in ladies only gym, tiles falling from wall in ladies showers, dirty floor in upstairs gym, came out wiv filthy trouser after stretches on the floor

Positive experience: Excellent value for money convenient location. This it’s third incarnation it was Fitness4Less until recently and before that Topnotch. The equipment is ok and the staff are nice. Could do with a bit more space floor exercise, which more people do now compared to a few years ago.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym. Been here for over a year now. Yes it's small but there is plenty of cardio machines on the 2nd floor along with a large room which you can use when no classes on, a room for spinning bikes and a woman's only area which is small but has the equipment you would need. The ground floor has a large weights area and the changing rooms. It's a gym which has everything I need so big thumbs up because it doesn't need to be fancy with high tech machines to workout.
