Negative experience: me and my friends went to have a fun swim at the pool but all of the staff targeted us and had a go at us when we splashed one of our friends. they constantly were watching us and telling us off for things other people were doing aswell. Then as we’re in the showers 2 workers came in to the showers while we were showering then proceeded to tell us to clean up the soap that was on the floor from us and everyone else and then as we got changed they stood in the corner of the room waiting and watching. then we got banned 1 hour later when we did nothing wrong.

Fantastic experience: daughter has swimming lessons here. Cant complain at the lesson or her teachers. Always keeping me in the loop on progress. wouldnt take her anywhere else

Negative experience: Arrived to be told we could only swim for 45mins or wait another 45mins to be able to swim for 60mins. Yet there seemed to be hardly anyone in the pool. Why would you only allow one hour sessions now? It's bad enough that the place is grubby and cold. Won't be bothering in future. It doesn't seem like they actually want you there.

Positive experience: Some of the changing areas need thorough cleaning, the disabled shower and toilet is still nit in use after many months of complaining. Otherwise everything fine. Thankyou

Negative experience: Genuinely seems unclean and it had a smell of sewage unfortunately

Negative experience: The place is a pigs pond, staff are literally swamp creatures , deserve no stars , lack of interest for general public swiming time , they don't respect timetable : you can end up paying 5£ for 20-30 minutes of swimming and kicked out because some unplanned activity starting on your payed time , rude attitude from staff . This place is a failure of common sense . Stay away from , avoid with all cost !

Negative experience: Used to be a nice affordable place for swimming until covid , the place is literally a swamp. No privacy in the shower area , male parents are taking their little girls in the male changing and shower area while other people are changing clothes and having showers. They have a new stupid schedule with little swimming time for general public that they often mixing with other activities for children that they will ruin your swimming routine , you can end up in the middle of your training with a supervisor that is going to tell you after 30 min of swimming: that’s it you need to leave , we have another activity now , so you’re paying the money for a 60-90 minutes swimming session that is going to be ruined by the new policies. Filthy toilets and shower facilities. Disgusting place , rude staff with bad attitude, lack of interest for public needs ! Avoid !!!!

Positive experience: I used to visit this pool more frequently, when there was an afternoon session longer than 1 hour (need 75 mins to do my 50 lengths). So I am now restricted to mornings, which means I can't attend as often. I know of someone else who doesn't attend for the same reason.

Negative experience: Absolutely shocked to a way a gentleman was treated on Saturday. He had a disabled person with him who clearly see needed help at all times. The gentleman was asking for a float to help him. STAFF told him no he can't have 1. Other words was said and got the gentleman angry. I totally understand verbal abuse is not excepted but when he was asking for help to be told NO. Sorry but that's wrong as it was needed for a disabled person. Then to be told police are being call and to get band from the swimming pool. This needs investigating as I feel he was refused when he clearly was in the right to be angry and needing help

Negative experience: Once at the venue I was told that general swimming session has passed and I will need to come back later. I confirmed the times with their current time table online which evidently was “outdated” So we came back at an allotted time from now a correct time table provided verbally for my baby’s first swim express Naturally I was excited and as a whole family went out separate ways as there are no family changing rooms. I avoided the hangers are they were made out of plastic and appeared and felt rather flimsy Once at the baby pool we dipped our feet and that felt cold however perseverance is the key so the baby too had a dip however it soon ( after approx 10 mins) transpired that the pool indeed is too cold for babies so we decided to end the session before the baby froze to death. 11£ lighter suffice to say that we will not be going back as it did not meet our expectations On the other hand, I would like to highlight positives When asked I was showed round the facility by a very polite staff member. They do baby and toddler swim activities which is useful for days out when on mat leave The whole facility do offer NHS discount when signing up for membership Though I did not feel the changing rooms were up to a standard they did provide a “baby pod “ which I felt was convenient and thoughtful

Fantastic experience: Great leisure centre has everything you need. Gymn is spacious, full size pool, lots of classes available. Love the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi . Good parking facilities.

Positive experience: it's aight, too many cardio machines not enough weights, only 1 rack

Negative experience: 1 hour time slots on a weekend? How silly has this now got! £11.20 for a 30min swim for 2 children and an adult. (Your not let in before your 1hr slot and kicked out the pool 15mins before the end of the 1hr slot to get changed

Positive experience: Appreciate the council budgets are not stretching to improve these sort of places so you need to be sympathetic to the facilities. The changing rooms are very basic, but clean. We made the mistake of going to the toilets upstairs which should really have a closed sign as in a right state. The pool is clean and an acceptable temperature if your active. Baby pool is slightly warmer. My 2 year old enjoyed splashing around and my 6 year old enjoyed the waterslide.

Negative experience: Terrible place. When I called over the phone I was told all information before I went. When I arrived paid for 4 kids to go into the pool with no problems. After five minutes, they were kicked out as they had told us that all children under 18 had to have another adult in the pool with them. The lady on the phone never told me this. Also, at many other swimming pools I have been to children over 8 can go in the pool unsupervised. When trying to get a refund the staff were trying to say that I had called the wrong number on the phone or I hadnt looked at the safety info. They were basically saying this was all my fault. Although, this was the fault of the staff and not my own. Luckily, I had got a full refund. Will never come here again.

Positive experience: It's been quite a few years since I had been with my children to the swimming pool here as the last time I went my sons lips actually turned blue from how cold it was and when I complained I was told it was the normal temperature, so we never went back. So I was very apprehensive when we went back today but I was pleasantly surprised, I made no squealing noises like I normally do went entering a pool on holiday, because their always freezing to me. The kids loved the fun splash at 10.30 and the water slide. We actually stayed for 2 hours! I've never managed that long in a pool ever! I'm usually shaking with cold by then! It was that good were going back again this week. I only knocked 1 star off because some of the locks need fixing in the toilets and changing rooms and they could both do with a bit of refurbishment, other than that it was great!

Positive experience: Beginning to look a bit tired but has all you want on one site with gym,swim,steam and sauna as well as classes. Entrance to site is a bit awkward but that's a minor gripe

Positive experience: It is a pool and gym. Excellent value for money if you join, a bit pricey if you pay as you go. Twice a week is cheaper as a member. Not the newest, not the best, but it is the best we have got and I'm thankful for it. Classes are run but I have not used them.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant pool, after a bad experience taking my son swimming as a baby (freezing water, terrible changing facilities, hostile receptionists ect) in a different towns pool, and not being a keen swimmer myself, its actually been several years since I've been swimming, however my son, now almost 5 has shown an interest in swimming, so I thought I'd try out Geoff Moulder, and have to say, the facilities and the general running of the place has yet to disappoint. The staff (both receptionist and lifeguards) are very attentive, friendly and seem to be a close knit team. Being heavily pregnant, I can't go on the slide with my son, however he's too small to safely land in the slides pool (separate from the main and baby pools) and so I send him up the slide steps, and go and wait in the pool for him, each day we have been so far, the lifeguards have questioned me and my son, and conversed with each other to ensure this is safe for all involved, showing their attentiveness to the pool users. Unfortunately one day it was very busy, and we had to wait to access the pool, but the receptionist showed us to the viewing area, to wait, and she came and collected us as soon as we could enter the pool, she was upfront and honest in saying that they couldn't predict how long the wait would be, allowing you to decide if it was worth waiting it out or not, with no sense of false hope. The pricing of this pool I also find extremely reasonable, and although you are limited somewhat by the sessions timings, there isn't a time limit per person/family, unlike some pools, which we have found great, and the morning sessions in the week, 10-12 have been perfect for us so far! Can't wait to start bringing my second son here as well

Positive experience: Contacted the pool as our pool had let us down for the fifth time. The staff were brilliant as my wife I’d disabled and we had our four year old grandson with us they immediately made the disabled facility available to us. We had a great time, thank you.

Negative experience: Have been trying an hour to get through either just rings and cuts off or goes to engaged, call the council and just keep being called Madam ny some operative who says keep trying. Good customer service from the council as per usual
