Negative experience: Very difficult to cancel the membership.

Positive experience: Amazing staff fantastic community resource but starting to show it's age in a few areas.

Negative experience: I am a regular member of gym and I’ve noticed an ongoing issue with the cleanliness of the women’s restrooms. There seems to be a lack of irregular cleaning, with toilet papers on the floor and women hygiene is very important. Could you please address this and ensure better maintenance? Negative experience: The gym is well stocked. Swimming pool can be cold.

Negative experience: Far too busy not enough weight plates no stopping machine hogging during busy periods

Positive experience: Nice pool friendly staff. Needs a few repairs. But they are closed for a week soon so hopefully they will get done.

Positive experience: I go there swimming, recently it's been a bit of a hit or miss with on going work and related issues with the pool, which is never a constant temperature which doesn't make a good swim regardless of what the temperature is or isn't. Nor having a hose letting out cold water doesn't help

Negative experience: I remember using this swimming pool before the roof was put on sometime in the early 80s I think . Somebody put a comment about their child being shouted at by a staff member probably a swimming instructor . I remember as a child myself I think it was the school PE teacher shouting at me and the complete feeling of helplessness I felt at that moment back in the 1970s. A lifetime latter I experienced the same feeling on the reception desk of the George Campbell Leisure Centre as I tried to purchase a ticket for swimming and was privy to the abrupt attitude of the girl serving on the reception desk. Somehow the issue of swimming to keep fit is of little consequence but more the fact that after a lifetime I still cannot stand up for myself against these people .

Negative experience: Absolute RIP OFF FOR ELDERLY Up fron £10 annual swimming, to £220 annual. Can't afford it , 2 off us £440

Fantastic experience: Good places for a swim

Negative experience: Not nice pool at all. Some instructors shout at kids and make them cry. Staff got attitude and seems they are annoyed they need to run classes. Seems older staff more approachable apart from lady manager who got no people skills. Water and pool and the whole centre dated and dirty. I am happy I have signed off my children! Wouldn’t recommend to my enemy

Positive experience: Use it regularly for swimming. Though recently the pool is colder than it used to be but not surprised if they are trying to keep cost down.

Fantastic experience: Have been taking my kids and myself (for adult swimming lessons) for a while now. My oldest got to level 7 and has decided to swap swimming for the gym now. Good thing they have gym sessions for 11 to 13 years old after school, which is perfect.

Negative experience: Gym too small, plenty of space in the other room (cardio classes room) but all the cardio machines are just sitting most of the time unused in the muscle building room occupying all the space! Bad management! Then on top of that, lots of kids coming into bodybuilding room and just standing looking one at each other and most of the time just talking!! At their age they shouldn’t even lift that much weights!! They are 12-15 year olds they should first lift their own weight, push-ups, sit-ups etc!! WHY no one from your centre is telling them that? You simply don’t care.. Overall, I’m looking to change my gym soon. Thanks.

Positive experience: I've just started my membership I like it here I just wish they had more classes for younger and opened longer. Please bring back evening swimming the swimming pool could also be cleaned more frequently.

Positive experience: Extremely over priced for what you actually receive, the weights room is laughable, doesn't even have a flat bench for bench press. Hardly any decent equipment. When someone thing is "out of order" it stays out of order for a long time, I've never seen a cleaner in the changing rooms, the showers always smell like the drains have gone. All the staff are nice and friendly though so that's a bonus.

Negative experience: To day my daughter had swimming lesson and swimming pool looks very dirty . I ask reception they have any problems with cleaning system of swimming pool, but I got answer is fine. I show photos no respond. Staff is frendly but that doesn't help to clean the swimming pool.

Positive experience: Only used for swimming which is fine, its a 25m pool. Considering having an update, several locker key bracelets are broken and not all showers are working or flowing sufficiently. Staff are friendly and its kept clean.

Negative experience: Used to be a member but had to cancel membership as would not freeze contract no personal care just after the monthly payments

Positive experience: My first time swimming here. The pool was a nice temperature and maintained well, the water itself was pleasant to swim in. Fast, medium and slow lanes, meant everyone could work at their best pace.

Fantastic experience: One of the best skate parks in East anglia. Clearly designed by skaters. Great street section and just enough 1/4 & 1/2 to get a nice flow going.

Positive experience: They expect you to change at the pool side and to go home in wet clothes with babies and vulnerable children and adults not really suitable

Negative experience: Poor swimming times for the public and random events closing off half the pool but not being told about it, put me right off. They need less lessons and more open times to get all the overweight people in to use it. No-one large wants to go in with a bunch of kids laughing and kicking them

Positive experience: If you put lots of hairspray on please consider showering before entering the pool. It's not nice swimming through hairspray slicks :) ..body spray too. ..but on the whole ok if you can align to the few timeslots for serious swimming. The evening is too busy. Shame about the very limited time tabling for serious swimmers.

Positive experience: Been going there for years. Facilities do the job and I know improvements are on the way. Looking forward to it; the gaffer and his staff are extremely helpful.

Fantastic experience: This time at the pool was great as its the holiday rota so you have a choice how long you stay in. A few months ago with my grandson over 3 days of going swimming we lost 34 minutes of swim time as each session was late in and getting out. On one occasion instead of going in on the o'clock we had to wait until 10 past and were asked to get out at 10 to?? That's 40 minutes swimming, not the hour advertised!!

Positive experience: The pool can be cold at times but is a good size. The facilities would be improved by the addition of a jacuzzi and baby pool. The classes and gym are both good. The gym is well equipped and a pleasant place to work out. Membership is good value as you can also use the facilities in Whittlesey, Chatteris and Wisbech.
