Fantastic experience: Great venue for a birthday party the room is a good size. The bar was in the right spot.

Negative experience: I usually go to the JD Gym at Xscape and have been doing so for the past two months without any issues. Today, I decided to buy a day pass for the JD Gym at Lock Lane since I was in the area. Although the facility is smaller, it has a sufficient range of machines. Unfortunately, I had a negative experience due to some of the other gym-goers. Almost immediately, I was approached by someone who began offering unsolicited advice on my form. Despite explaining that I had an injury and was comfortable with my routine, he continued to pester me, even when I put my headphones on to signal that I didn't want to be disturbed. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere, which I’ve never encountered at the Xscape location. Staff don't seem to care about this and treat it as normal. It's not a great environment at all. Based on this experience, I won’t be returning to Lock Lane.

Negative experience: I enjoy using the gym and facilities, staff are usually kind and helpful but I came into the gym recently with a lot of anxiety and scanned my card wrong a few times, the young girl and two older men at the desk just laughed together at me and mocked me as I walked away, can say it made me feel quite uncomfortable.

Positive experience: We go with the youths rugby team, they have hot food sandwiches like bacon, sausage, egg etc? Always put food on for team players after the game good bar, small room but adequate it's also a gym, good parking but you may struggle on match days unless you arrive early,

Fantastic experience: Hall hire is a good price. I hire it for netball training. It's cold but that suits the players (not the coach!). The bar area is great though. Good parking facilities and the staff and management are ace. Can't fault them.

Positive experience: Not the newest of venues admittedly. Perfectly functional for badminton with very good lighting (wasn't dazzled once). Nice staff too. Will be going back

Positive experience: The gym space is intimate and 3/4 of the equipment is usable but dated. Some of the cardio equipment was broken. It's usually quite quiet if you don't go at regular times. 7pm ish the place is mostly empty. The gym hall is great and the staff are lovely.

Fantastic experience: Always a nice place to visit for rugby. Plenty of inside seating upstairs to watch the game if it's cold or raining. Not the biggest of pitches but medium sized. In the bar areas upstairs there is food and many varieties of drinks available. There is also many more parts to this place but mainly just the rugby parts seen for me.
