Snap Fitness Ashford

Positive experience: Place hard to find as no outside signs pointing to it . Downstairs door is on code as it's shared entrance to the premises. When you get to 1st floor use your card to access the gym. It is not big compared to Pure gym or others . Has only one multitask machine where you can do exercises using pull cords. Equipment wise it's enough but again if it's not busy . Have 3 showers and 2 toilets . I see cleaner in the morning , gym gets cleaned .only one personal trainer as I can't find anyone on the info board. you can use Car park free till 9am and after 3pm

Positive experience: Little bit dark but good equipment and decent space

Negative experience: Always something not working in here from lights, shower, water fountain. If you come at 4/5pm it's overloaded with teenagers in groups so no chance of getting on anything. Staff are nice that's one good thing but equipment is very basic enough to get dome what you need but only if you go at the right times so you can get on them. Only reason I keep going is because it's 24hr or I'd of been gone a long time ago. Oh also parking unless you come super early or later on when it's packet then you have to pay to park which at £2.40/60 for 2hrs as it makes you pay for 2hrs no option for 1hr. So not a lot of perks here at all

Fantastic experience: Wide variety of weights and machines. Staff are very friendly and helpful, often have good conversations about HobNobs biscuits. I've been going for over a year and I don't like exercising so that has to speak volumes about the place.

Negative experience: I bought a membership with this gym, and after going there for the first time, i decided to cancel my membership the next day. They claimed they would give me a refund but have decided they refuse to contact me or reply to me anymore so now i will be disputing with my bank account. Very awful customer service, would NOT recommend unless you fancy losing money.

Negative experience: Small to the point of being uncomfortable

Negative experience: I drove from folkestone to have a shower as I was working away from home and regularly make use of snap showers when I'm away. When I arrived, the card reader did not work to allow access, and no staff was there to give access through the doorbell. Luckily, someone training heard to door bell and allowed access. Other than this issue, it's snap fitness gym - Just a reply to snaps reply below, there is nothing wrong with my card as I use this at other gyms, the issue is with the reader at your door in Ashford!

Fantastic experience: Club Manager Callan is super friendly… he is very welcoming and keeps the gym SO tidy!

Positive experience: Good location and good weights, but small gym, with not a lot of machines for your money. I'd advise Snap Fitness to add more machines, like a preacher curl machine, a triceps extension machine, more cable and ab machines, and a proper chest press machine

Negative experience: Very annoying! It is supposed to be 24hours but when we try to get in with the Snap Fitness contactless card (as you do on any other Snap Fitness), you need to open the door with a passcode. What passcode!??? There is a note on the door: for visitors call reception. Fox purse you call and staffed hours are from 12pm!! Not very helpful honestly

Negative experience: For the second time I couldn't access the gym because they blocked my card (but took the money) They don't answers the phones or responding to emails.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym! The staff are friendly and always happy to help with anything. The environment is welcoming and I don't feel uncomfortable at all. Probably one of the best gyms in Ashford. I get my money's worth. Yeah, it could be a little bigger but I go during off-peak hours so I've never had a problem. I haven't been during peak hours but I doubt it gets too busy. One recommendation I'd have is a "live tracker". Would be great to know how many people are in the gym to plan what times to go.

Negative experience: Very Small gym for the money...if there's more than 15 people in you can't get on any machines... the equipment is very limited and isn't very good in terms of a broad selection but it is good in terms of the types they have and the new condition. Gym staff were always friendly and welcoming.. Also be careful when you cancel as they will mysteriously not cancel your membership like I found out when they tried to take money out of my account for the 2 months after my last payment should have been..rang up to complain and it hasn't even been cancelled despite emailing them and receiving something back
