Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym open 24 7 never to packed can always use equipment

Fantastic experience: Bit of a faff to get to from the parking and parking ticket validation was hard to find. But the gym has everything you need even if it's a bit dated compared to other puregyms

Negative experience: Dangerously unstable flooring for heavy squats. They use a plank of wood to compensate... I requested an actual rack with solid flooring 4 years ago? No investment compared to other gyms.

Negative experience: Showers are not private(completly exposed), and there's also a lack of an accessible shower space.

Admin official must stay at both time, morning and evening shift to coop up any emergency to any member during both shifts Water provided by machine has the same taste on each point ,shows different fruits taste, it need to be correct and improve and taste much be given like each fruit shown on the screen

Positive experience: Love the classes wish there was more variety on a weekend

Negative experience: Would be an ok gym if they would tell young boys to come dressed properly (not with trousers hanging down and sitting on equipment with your underwear) or tell the young boys to stop hanging with their hands inside their trousers and then touching the equipment. Otherwise would be proper basic gym nothing fancy

Negative experience: I have a feeling this gym has been neglected compared to other puregyms, I used to come here and Aldershot before I moved to another gym and always felt the Aldershot gym was 1000x better than this gym, the equipment is outdated, air con is old. As far as etiquette goes you got the odd A-Hole who thinks he owns the gym or the groups talking on machines for half an hour but people are pretty good when it comes to putting weights back, respecting space. The things that bug me the most is the lack of power/squat racks and deadlift pads, and overall space in free-weights area, I had to come here instead of my main gym on Boxing day because they were closed and it reminded me how much I hated training in the freeweights section and how much I hate the squat racks puregym use, if you are looking to train especially in a powerlifting training style, you might have a hard time being able to use the equipment effectively. However this is not a powerlifting gym - so I digress. I still struggled to get good workouts in with these racks before I moved into the training style. However changing rooms are clean and you can get a good workout in regardless especially if you are newer or less serious about training, but there needs to be some changes for the rest of us as it is just lacklustre right now.

Positive experience: This gym is pretty convenient to the centre of camberley, it gets busy during peak hours and compared to more up to date puregyms the equipment selection is mediocre. However, I've got in a few decent workouts here as a powerlifter with a few modifications to what I'm doing.

Negative experience: As of recently, Lots of machines and facilities out of order all the time. It’s almost like it’s taking turns. It’s actually ridiculous at this point. There’s no rush to fix them either which is the annoying part

Fantastic experience: Love the excersises on the gym app, I have lost alot of weight thanks to the app. I was a complete beginner, had never been in a gym before or done any form of excersise and never thought i would be able to use the gym equipment but the app made it easy!!! Great Gym!

Negative experience: This gym is terrible. Missing some standard and vital machine like hack squat, back hypertension, so many to name. The gym is quite crowded so best to workout at nighttime. The atmosphere is poor but you can’t expect much from non contractual gyms. Non-contractual and affordable gyms such as this means you attract certain types of people who can only afford such, so beware of unorthodox mannerism. Definitely the most racist gym I’ve encountered. Only use this gym on weekdays after work as it is walking distance from my apartment. My wife and I go to a larger gym during the weekend 15 minutes away as it has all the vital equipment a gym should.

Positive experience: Perfect for what I need. They offer an offer peak membership which suits my schedule and saves me money. Not the biggest free weights area but at the time I go its absolutely fine. Free parking in The Atrium means never any trouble finding a space

Positive experience: I travel the Uk year round and go to puregym 5+ times a week, of all the gyms I've visited i found the lack of equipment in this gym surprising considering the size of the room(s), seems more focused on cardio than anything else

Positive experience: Gym is okay, missing some vital machines, really need at least another deadlift platform as always busy, a proper squat rack like they have in every other pure gym( don’t know why Camberley Doesn't) and could really do with a hack squat/ pendulum squat, there’s so much empty space that could be utilised

Fantastic experience: Excellent range of equipment, large facilities plenty of different areas to use. Best value for money gym in the area. It does get very busy at peak times, so worth checking (which shows actual current and predicted future numbers of people in the gym) the app and avoiding peak times.

Positive experience: Good facility, perfectly located in the town centre. I chose to visit late at night (typically after 11pm) and there were only a half-dozen other users at this time. People kept themselves to themselves and socially distanced which was appreciated. Generally pretty clean which was good. Equipment is certainly adequate with a wide selection of cardiovascular kit, weight machines, and a fair selection of freeweights. For the money the equipment available is exactly what one would expect. Serious weightlifters, powerlifters or bodybuilders might do better at a more specialised facility but for 99% of individuals this place is great. I visit whenever I stay in Camberley.

Fantastic experience: Vast amount of CV equipment as you would expect from a PureGym. Facility is kept clean and changing room/toilets are usually in a good condition. An additional bench and deadlift platform would be good, but can't really complain considering the price point of membership. Staff are all friendly and helpful.

Negative experience: Good gym with good staff however it is let down by the free weights area being so small, there are 5 separate rooms for matt type of work however these are rarely used, considering there is only 1 bench press, 1 deadlift platform and only 2 squat racks in the whole gym sometimes you have to wait a long time for compound exercises to be available would have hoped they would turn one of these rarely used rooms into a dedicated lifting area. TLDR Good sized gym but lack of equipment and bad use of space

Negative experience: Good size gym, but let down by poor management that changes regularly. As equipment is poorly maintained including basic oiling. Dirty air conditioning fillters that are never cleaned so the result is water leaking from the unit’s plus awful performance in producing cool air. (Often warm air is dispersed). So please manager for pure gym camberley address this as it’s a problem that’s been ongoing for year’s!!!!!!

Positive experience: Friendly staff

Fantastic experience: Facility is clean and well kept, there is always a staff presence during the day which is nice so nothing to really be negative about. The App is what gives the additional stars due to being able to see how busy the gym is, along with the workout and exercises which I think is great!. Only criticisms is general maintenance e.g. broken lockers, which to be honest is expected.

Positive experience: Please consider a second bench for bench press.

Positive experience: Nice staff .. however .. showers are way too hot to use comfortably .. very short timer .. broken tiles in showers .. quite dangerous re germs in cracks considering their promoting corona virus hygiene but negate the obvious dangers .. ever wonder why you throw away a cracked tea cup... wouldn't care but they go on and on about how much cleaning happens whilst having no idea of germ theroy .. also terrible music plays the whole time .. like for kids high on sugar.

Negative experience: The gym itself is ok ‘good location, cleaned, affordable and offer free car parking’. It would receive a 5* IF wasn’t extremely busy to a point that you cannot do any work out exercise. There is no enough equipments for the people to work out and when any of the equipments are broken, it’s impossible to do anything. It’s just not enjoyable at all. The weird thing is that they have couple rooms full of spinning bikes which in 80% of the time these rooms are empty. Why not bringing more equipments? I don’t get it! I started looking for another gym where I can do my work outs.

Fantastic experience: Great range of equipment, hardly ever queue for machines and great weights selection as well. Big space and multitude of classes

Positive experience: Always clean and tidy with plenty of treadmills, cross trainers and bikes. Weights area has plenty of dumbbells, free weights, benches, barbells and two Smiths machines. But space is limited in the weights area and can get busy during the day. Classes also run during the day but haven't used them personally. Personal trainers are also available with details available in the gym. 2 hours free parking in the Atrium carpark.

Negative experience: I've used PureGym for a long time down in Portsmouth and that gym has almost everything so I thought this place would be similar, but I was wrong. I'm only here for 6 weeks and any gym is better than no gym but the weight section is too small for how busy it gets. Depending on what time you go (if you're like me and work normal hours during the week) you'll be spending as much time waiting for the equipment as you will be using it. In my opinion there's too much focus on cardio and not enough on weights. If you're into just fitness then this is fine but if you're into lifting weights then this Puregym (with only 1 deadlift platform, 1 bench, 2 squat racks etc) doesn't cut it!!

Fantastic experience: Lots of equipment to use ranging from free weights, cardio machines and resistance. Staff seem very pleasant and the gym has a good vibe. For the money it's awesome!

Positive experience: Place is spotless, has showers, cramped changing facilities. Good equipment and staff.

Negative experience: A trainer used ableist language and made me feel unwelcome. I am disabled, I have lived with my disability for 4 years and have always worked out because I want to remain active. One day I will end up using a stick, or in a wheelchair, but I want to put that off for as long as possible. Today, in class, the trainer did not ask if there were any injuries and when I was scaling exercises MYSELF he came over to correct me and when I explained I was scaling or changing the exercise to accommodate my leg he asked “should you really be in this class” I mean, should disabled people be allowed to work out? Should we know our own bodies better than a random trainer who didn’t bother to ask the class if there were any injuries he should know about? I guess he thinks he shouldn’t have to deal with disabled people. We’re such a nuisance, right? I mean how dare I even live?

Negative experience: Don’t waste your time or money at this gym staff are very rude and very unprofessional! Equipment is always left in an uncleaned state and very unhygienic. The customer service over the phone is pretty rubbish as well! Ordered a key fob still never received it and no refund given! Don’t waste your time or money puregym is completely useless if you want help or support! Snap-fitness best gym ever!!!

Positive experience: Not nice to be told of on your first ever cycle class as a newbie by coming in on time in Pure Gym Camberley! Didn't know you have to be early for warm up, luckily i came in on my bike so i was pretty much warmed up! Not a good way of welcoming a new member! Could do with mentioning it on induction day and putting it on class description Pure Gym Camberley! Nevertheless this doesnt put me off, it was a wonderful class and workout less the instructor. Will definitely come back for more! #weighlossgoalsnomatterwhat

Fantastic experience: 24/7 access so I can go when I like. Free car parking in the Atrium car park. You validate your ticket on the way out of the gym. It is for 2 hours so if you're quick you can do a bit of shopping as well!!! I only attended the abs class. This was relaxed and you went at your own speed. Do as many crunches in a minute. So I didn't feel out of my depth. I just went slow and steady. Being 52 years old I was a bit nervous at first. Even walking from the car park other gym members will say hello etc. There are plenty of different aged people in the gym. I never felt out of place or intimidated. I tended to go mid morning after others were at work. Or later in the evening. I could always get on a machine. There were always staff there to help if necessary. The whole gym was always clean and fresh. As were the changing rooms. Overall a great place to exercise.

Positive experience: Good price membership, clean and tidy. Bad fitness etiquette. Most of the time people testing or texting on the equipment preventing others to train. When you ask them to move the refuse. You have to wait for them untill they decide to finish or finish texting. Nobody takes care of that. It's a really big problem for seriously training people. We cool down till waiting.
