Fantastic experience:

Positive experience: Clean tidy well equipped as far as commercial gyms go it's decent.

Positive experience: Throughly enjoyed going to the gym due to.life matters and moving on with different things In life I decided to leave but generally nice place to be and chill and workout

Positive experience: Its a small place over crowded with equipment, is always cold in there, i havent seen much staff going around to whipe the equipment, some people brings them bags, backpack with them and looks more like a place with no rules. Lots of people keeps the equipment busy and they are on the phone. I gave you 3 stars as iv seen worse but if younreally wanna make this place better i think its easy to do so buy having yourvstaff doing them job and talk less with the lads over there.

Negative experience: Very arrogant and rude staff. I asked for some help with my membership and they just ignored and were unwilling to explain gym facilities. Purely underaged staff who need to learn some manners.

Negative experience: Very arrogant staff. Deliberately ignoring a customer and not willing to help. I came in to register my partner and we were unaware of the process. Rylie as I recall the staff’s name refused to explain us the process and was being very rude and asked me to step outside even though I am a member. We had to leave without being attended. Not going to register my partner here as the attitude of the staff is dismal.

Fantastic experience: Lighting is way too bright to the point I can’t focus. Good amount of machines/ plate loaded equipment and platforms. Way too many treadmills where good equipment could be placed. Great improvement as from since I started coming 2 years ago.

Positive experience: Good gym. Choose the right time and it's great. Still need to get people not to sit on equipment reading their phones though!!

Negative experience: Way too busy , and full of underage kids, at peak times cant do a full workout be waiting for ever! Typical cattle market style!

Fantastic experience: Has more equipment then the bletchley one, but you have to pay more for bletchley one to be added to the core plus Make it make sense

Positive experience: A good gym, with a good atmosphere, just need to have a little bit more equipment to avoid massive waiting for the equipments

Positive experience: Great range of equipment and all well maintained. My only gripe is that it can get really busy - to the point where I have almost considered going home mid-workout. Some of the lads really need to learn personal hygiene too...

Negative experience: Full of underaged teens in the evenings messing around on machines. Too busy to get on a machine, that’s if you can find one that works. Basic machines, Winterhill is better. WiFi never works. Always hot in there

Positive experience: Gyms ok as far as it goes, the general hygiene and fact your car has a 50/50 chance of getting scratched by some meat heads gym bag is a huge draw back. However all staff were friendly and approachable, they are just victim of circumstance but have a very good attitude.

Positive experience: I was a member here for a few months Personally it's not for me Has many young members who hang around machines Seems more like a posing gym to me rather than working out , this is just my opinion and feeling , I'm 43 and it's was quite a young posey crowd that was not comfortable for me Again my opinion The actual gym has 2 floors and plenty of equipment and good changing rooms

Fantastic experience: Good equipment and nice and clean

Positive experience: Pros: cheap gym, nicely equipped. Has 2 straight Smith machines, which is fantastic. The staff are really nice, friendly, hardworking and helpful. Cons: terribly, horribly overcrowded. It feels that certain groups have discounted/free memberships or this gym sells way over it's capacity. The culture of the visitors is terrible: 1) they stay resting on the machines all the time, staring into their phones 2) I saw people taking their shoes off and jackets and putting these in the middle of the gym literally 3) few people put their weight back. It's also very dark, there are no windows. I left this gym for other gyms in the area, and am very happy with this decision.

Positive experience: Its ok not may free weights mashines

Fantastic experience: I’m really satisfied to attend to the class , the trainers support people and encouraged to exercised well for good results at the end . Visit everyone Pure Gym , really good life changing ,sculpture your body and improve your health .

Negative experience: They take ages to fix any broken machines. The staff is not very helpful. Customer services is non existent

Negative experience: Price would be my only plus, it is cheap. Even off-peak it is very busy, and the gym is mainly for weight training. If a busy weight training gym is what you want for cheap then you will find it here. Not for me tho.

Negative experience: Price is the only plus. Equipment is not maintained. Better chose a different gym.

Positive experience: While most of the time is packed with people (including 5:30 morning). I'm surprised how clean and well maintained the gym is. The most surprising thing is that users actually rack the weights back correctly and more often than other gyms. More cabled machines could be of use and a calf raise machine too. Also, a scan/code at leaving the gym is unnecessary, this is overdoing really. Please find a better place for the barbells. They are squeezed next to the slade track. People have to carry them all over the place to be able to use them.

Positive experience: It's a good place to train, very close to where i work and in Northampton Western favell gym very close to my home .

Positive experience: Thought I would wait until I'd visited a few times before making a more informed review. The gym is fine - nothing spectacular. But things like only having one leg extension machine really hold it back for me. That machine is always taken or has a queue for it even in the middle of the day. The entire leg machine section could do with bolstering in my opinion, but that's the stand out item that *needs* a second machine there.

Fantastic experience: Great gym not too big but plenty of equipment, my only moan is people sat on equipment on their phones drives me nuts when your wanting to use it

Fantastic experience: Been a couple of times, it's definitely busy during peak hours, so I'd recommend going in the mornings or late evening to avoid the rush.

Positive experience: I have been attending this gym since February and haven't been too many before so not much to compare against. The gym itself is in a great location plenty of parking even if the car park is full, it is quite a big gym but is sometimes lacking in equipment and hard to get on to certain machines, albeit the gym space is used to it's max so they couldn't fit in more either way it is busy at times but due to the central location and pricing this is understandable. I think is certainly worth the price but they could do with improving the speed of maintenance on machines and fixing machines when they break down.

Positive experience: Great gym, can be a little crowded sometimes but for experienced users like myself if you have the knowhow there is always something you can work out on...my only negative point would be the number of non members using the gym, specifically kids who let other kids in without paying...makes it tough on the regulars (me) to workout sometimes. However facilities are good, has lockers so you stuff is secure and staff are friendly and approachable.

Negative experience: I have been going here for just shy of two months now and it is a really lovely, clean gym with friendly and helpful staff. Edit - 5th Sept 23 Some of the machines have been out of order for a while, some of them have been out of action for months! Edit - 1st Feb 24 Since mentioning the machines and the lack of them being in working order, things have gotten better at the gym with items being fixed promptly. Edit - 14th Oct I have left this gym, as it was always so busy, even late at night... So I left. Only times I found the gym to be quiet were 6am on the weekends and 11pm weekdays and I can't be working out till midnight! I have since moved to a gym where the people are nicer and it is much much quieter!

Positive experience: Good gym overall but overcrowded a lot of the time, even at 9-10pm. Would be nice to have an extra leg press machine because there's only one.

Negative experience: Shockingly bad gym, staff took close to 10 minutes to arrive after buzzer being pressed, everything being a QR code to scan while having 0 signal or wifi, missing several key pieces of equipment: leg extension, hamstring curls, pec deck/rear delt, any kind of plate row. Only has one incline chest machine, one seated cable row, one lat pull down etc The only ‘saving grace’ is that it had several benches (that double as squat racks so availability will be poor) Anyone that’s serious about training I would genuinely avoid, go slightly further out and try somewhere else

Negative experience: Old and outdated machines which feels that they are going to fall apart any moment. The gym seems to be full with teenagers.

Fantastic experience: Great gym loads of equipment. Used to go to the gym a lot then had a back injury been about 4 years since stepping foot in a gym and put a tone of weight on feel like a complete novice again but so far it been a good experience getting back into it.

Fantastic experience: Good atmosphere. All abilities and age groups. Nice selection of equipment.

Positive experience: Good stuff: New, modern, clean gym. V well equipped and provides good service to area. Bad stuff: Rowing machines upstairs in terrible condition - fan cages are full of dust, likely thrown into the air from fresh carpets. The ones downstairs aren't so good either. They need cleaning and maintaining for correct drag factors / accurate numbers and to give good workout with decent resistance. In a gym with that much footfall they will need cleaning every month or so. Rowing machine upstairs on the left hand side either has damaged chain or sprocket - it's a matter of safety as you can pull your back if chain breaks. (Yeah, rowing machines are my favourite for cardio!! :) )

Negative experience: AVOID WHEN THE SPIN CLASS IS ON THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. EVERYONE ON THE GROUND FLOOR IS INVOLVED WHEN THE SPIN CLASS IS ON.

Fantastic experience: Its a good gym regularly....but when the kids are off its a bit of a mare....the kids just sit around on the machines playing with their phones when other gym goer's want to get on to those said machines....nice gym though...clean,friendly staff and u can lose yourself in your workout

Positive experience: I would say at 12 it is quiet. But once it hits like 4pm then it gets crowded and then unfortunately there’s too many people using the equipment. Would be nice if they just had extra benches and dumbbells but overall great and no one bothers you.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, always able to park. The gym is always clean. Jordan & Connor are always available to help or answer any questions and crack a few jokes here and there. I have used many gyms but by far have found Kingston the most enjoyable to train in, with a great atmosphere. My only thing I would like to see is the leg extension with the leg press. Positive experience: Clean, staff are friendly but however equipment can get lost a lot, attracts a lot of adolescents and they just group causing equipment to be used for a longer time.

Negative experience: Nice and new equipment. Feels spacious. No signal in the building and no WiFi which they can't even confirm when they'll have it. Can't give access to staff WiFi. Avoid if you need signal and access to your phone.

Fantastic experience: Best gym so far, and I’ve been to A LOT of pure gyms around the UK. Friendly staff, clean and tidy gym, easy access, free parking and plenty of it. Never struggled to find a parking spot. Aesthetically pleasing.

Positive experience: Everyone complaining about the wifi? You go to the gym to put in the work not use your phone or otherwise you should just stay home I go to the gym and half the people are sitting on their phones using up the machines when there are people who want to use it

Positive experience: Still no WiFi and not date as to when it's coming. Only a minor detail but would be nice to not have to download music prior to going as I can't connect to any Internet reception whilst in the gym! Split on to 2 floor, great weights section but when it's busy, be prepared to wait a while for equipment. I was waiting from 3pm on some days

Fantastic experience: The best gym in the world, friendly place, very clean and very close to where I leave. Always love going to the gym specially for the classes. The manager Jordan and Conner are super friendly, kind and funny and the instructors are amazing. So good joining them classes, normally I do spinning, Bootcamp, Legs, Bums and Tums, Body tones, burn it and Circuits. So big big thank you to all the Instructors: Alex, Abelardo, Hayden, Arron and Michael. Can't wait for my next classes.
