Negative experience: One star purely due to the behavior of Karen. Karen washed the dirty floor in the changing room with towels, which she then provided to customers. When a customer pointed this out, she shouted at them. This wasn't an isolated incident; she also shouted at a customer on another occasion. She was also lying to duty manager about customer and her own actions and words, but admitted truth after rather unpleasant conversation.

Positive experience: First time I went on Saturday. Kids taking up space in a small swimming pool. Also remember to take some footwear as I noticed I was dodging a lot of hair on the floor in the womens changing rooms. I asked the receptionist what I need to know but they failed to mention that I had to enter my car details for parking and it was only because I asked. Otherwise good experience

Negative experience: Hussle app day pass has gone up from £9 to £13.50. Quite a big rise. I know a lot of people who are no longer going due to the rise. Shame as it was a good club for the local community. Also,the pool can get busy with kids so it might be better to have adults only in pool after 7pm.

Negative experience: I have been a member of the Holiday Inn Spirit Health Club for approximately four months, and I have been satisfied with the quality of service and the professionalism of the staff. However, I encountered an issue regarding the parking facility. Unfortunately, during each visit, I am required to register my vehicle for parking. About three months ago, during my visit on November 17, 2023, it appears that my vehicle was not registered for parking. I am unable to verify this since the parking company has not provided me with any SMS, email, or receipt for confirmation. Therefore, the origin of the problem remains unclear. After 75 days from the incident, on January 8, 2024, I discovered a penalty of £170 in my mailbox. The penalty was apparently issued on January 2, 2024, six days before I became aware of it. I promptly lodged an appeal for the cancellation of the penalty on January 9, 2024. Spirit Club forwarded an email to the relevant Park DCBL company regarding the cancellation of the penalty. Unfortunately, DCBL claims that the appeal period has expired and refuses to cancel the penalty. As a human being, I acknowledge that I can forget or make mistakes. I am unwilling to continue my membership with a company that does not tolerate such instances, and therefore, I am formally cancelling my membership as of the end of this month to protest this situation. I would like to advise you to diligently perform the parking register process, double-check the entries, and, if necessary, take screen photographs or screenshots for documentation. This may be crucial in a legal context.

Negative experience: In women's sauna it's almost always swimsuit inside. They put things to dry inside. This is disgusting. . The management needs to do something for that

Positive experience: Small pool which has children's lessons running on Saturday afternoons until 1630 so perhaps visit after then if you want to do any laps. Jacuzzi is very nice and warm and steam room is just right too

Positive experience: Down in the basement of Holiday Inn. Nice pool with hot tub. Men's sauna and women's sauna in changing rooms, all good, working well.

Negative experience: Not happy at all. Very unprofessional from Karen. She is happy for me to pay £100 parking fine. When I've been a member for 1 year. Will not renew. Avoid at all costs.

Fantastic experience: Have previously been here with two children via day pass from Hussle app. The Hussle app functionality and reliability is not the best and I did have an issue with the app back so I was wary of going back here because of this. The day passes are not cheap at £9 each (total of £36 for 4 of us) but the swimming pool and other facilities are excellent and not crowded. This was maybe a year ago. Went yesterday with 7 year old (teachers were on strike) who was very excited, but the receptionist (young girl who was polite enough) told us that only adults can use the day passes I had purchased through the app. Our son was not happy! This may or may not have been in the Hussle Ts&Cs but in any case as it’s such an obvious thing, it should have been made clearer when I was purchasing the tickets. The Spirit Health club have no age restriction (there were children in the pool) so it’s rather bizarre that a child could not use a £9 day pass to enter the pool. Not happy. Waste of an hour and a disappointed child. Would give this place 5 stars but for the Hussle App (reliability, functionality and unclear terms and conditions). Hence 3 stars. UPDATE - Having been a member now for a couple of months and taking my kids there often to swim (nearly every day during the easter holidays), I've changed my rating to 5 stars. We've always found the staff to be friendly and very professional. Lovely swimming pool, spa and sauna. Usually not too busy.

Fantastic experience: Been to a lot of gyms in Sutton but cannot rate this place highly enough. Often feels like a private gym with that luxury touch of a big pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna too. Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. Hugo the PT is an absolute pro, has helped me make significant gains and it's been great to see so much new kit arriving too!

Fantastic experience: Having used many Gyms in the area over the last 30 years, having joined Sprit around a year ago, this has to be the most personal Gym in Sutton and the surrounding area. The staff are a credit to the Gym, always welcoming and extremely friendly and helpful. The facilities are well maintained and extremely clean, well maintained and very secure. The changing rooms are always spotless. Amazing value when you consider that you have the gym with great equipment, training and weight room, pool, kids splash pool and Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna… to top it off great classes Marc

Fantastic experience: Constant good vibes, very friendly and proactive staff. The pool, changing rooms and gym are always kept very fresh and clean and the sauna and the steam room are relaxing and peaceful after a day at work! Can get quite busy, especially during summer holidays but the staff are very well organised and ensure members and guests are kept happy and safe! Will continue going to go to this club :)

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to Spirit for the best part of 20 years and it certainly has my favourite pool. It may look small but is seldom overcrowded and the facilities are lovely. The aqua aerobics is excellent and I hope that more classes at different times will be scheduled soon. And the staff are very friendly and helpful. So glad to be back!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this Health Club for a few years now, and I was sad to see it close due to Covid. It seemed to take much longer than other pools and sports venues to reopen, but I remained patient and was excited to return to my favourite pool, which I love. The water is warm and great for exercising my poorly joints and muscles (I have a long-term health condition and am also rehabilitating after recently breaking my shoulder). The only downside is that it can fill with excitable children, which is fine, as it's their pool too and they need to play and exercise, but it doesn't give me as much room as I would prefer. I'm restricted in the times I can visit due to my work schedule. I love children, so it's only about the space really. I hope Karen Boyd reads this, as I would like to let her know how much I appreciated her letting me slip in for a quick 20 minute visit one evening recently when they were preparing to close. I'd not been able to get away from work promptly (I'm a specialist nurse and I can't just up and leave) and I'd struggled to park, but Karen let me in as I promised to be quick and they were quiet. I had been desperate for this quick swim at the end of my working day, so it meant so much to be allowed in! That really is excellent customer service at its best. Thank you so much to Karen and the team.

Positive experience: The facilities are well laid out and the rooms look clean. There is plenty of sanitiser but no reminder for people to use it. There is access to cold water. The AC is not always working in the gym and numbers in the room are not limited, The present staff are friendly and welcoming. The car park system works fine. The lockers are all working. Seems good value as you can use the pool the sauna and the jacuzzi as well as the gym. Early mornings are quieter

Positive experience: Nice little gem I have been swimming here with my 4 years old for two years now. The nicest thing is that the pool is warm and so are the changing rooms, unlike other pools. Thus, it allows for a nice sporty entertainment even on the coldest days.

Positive experience: Love this place and love the staff. Most are really lovely, friendly and helpful. The pool is quite small, but most of the time that's fine. It's just some people don't seem to like telling their kids doing handstands whilst people are swimming is really dangerous, but obviously that's not the club's fault! I really love that the saunas are split as well as it just makes them a bit more comfortable. I'm not sure I would go in if it was shared, especially not in just a towel!!!
