Oulder Hill Leisure Complex

Negative experience: This gymnasium discriminates disabled people with needs. My son suffers autism and the staff never acknowledge his needs no matter how serious his disability is. The swimming pool is dirty with dirt or debris floating around. Wont be renewing my membership any more. Absolutely ridiculous behaviour from the staff.

Negative experience: Booked the badminton court Sunday 3pm on 6th September after we finish the staff was extremely rude at the court shouting very unprofessional.The lady staff hade no manners and how to speak to the peopel booking the court was really surprised at her rude behaviour..Not happy with a40 plus staff acting very unprofessional arguing..

Positive experience: Had to remember the route to the sports hall. Next time could do with a map :)

Negative experience: Took nephew swimming no opening times was 11.15am two men on reception didn't say a thing let me in. About to get in pool only to be told shut in 15 minutes should told you on reception pair of them were ignorant didn't offer me refund or any type compensation on way out

Positive experience: There isn't much in the way of weightlifting equipment, but the pool is excellent.

Negative experience: hi guys how you doing? so i do not recommend older hill leisure complex to anybody in a wheelchair like myself. because my sister went to the and asked if it has a hoist and a bed so i can go shower they dont even have basic disabled kids things they should get shut down

Fantastic experience: Just want to thank the staff tonight for their understanding, unfortunately a young boy I take swimming on a Wed had a Siezure resulting in him having an accident when getting him out of the small pool, they just got on & cleaned the area & changing room. Unfortunately the Pool to had to be closed for obvious reasons sorry for the inconvenience it has caused.

Positive experience: Lots of sports here, great venue and lots of free parking.

Positive experience: It's good but it can improve by providing some basic utilities, such as shower soap in the holders which already installed in showers, basic repair work wooden planks are loose in the sauna. Could play some motivational videos for exercise as the TV screens are already in installed.

Negative experience: No proper Christmas time table I could find! said on the site on Tuesday the 27th Dec open! but Christmas day observed then hours might differ! I know everyone needs holiday but just make it clear! Open shut the dates etc! Drove up gates shut ! Yea nice one ! .

Positive experience: Can only really speak for the hockey pitch which looked ok. The floodlights are dangerously dim though.

Negative experience: Showers were closed after hockey

Fantastic experience: Recently joined both gym and swimming ended up using the pool more, this is through preference! The timetable is online and update regular so you can plan your swim! Lots of adult only swims in the evening but more often have a Lane set up during public swims! Clean facilities! Staff are very helpful when needed! The public changing rooms are unisex but members ones are separate men and womens with sauna and steam room!

Negative experience: Almost impossible to get in the swimming pool due to various classes. Gym very well maintained during COVID restrictions but standards slipped afterwards - equipment left everywhere. Parking again almost impossible during peak times due to school using the car park as an overflow.

Positive experience: Phone up before we went for swim times for Sunday 10 till 11-15 swim time for adult and children , got there only to find you could only pay in cash unless youve got exact money £7 - 40 or by credit card which is abit strange because the price would give you change and when we got in the little pool was closed also the no on wrist band had worn away could do with the number stamped on the key as you spend time looking for your locker with chilly child , could do with telling ppl its exact cash only . Really nice warm showers which is good..

Positive experience: Good place to unwind and enjoy some time with some friends on the badminton court. The service from is ok but can be a bit late in setting up the nets. This can sometimes eat up approximately 5 mins of our allocated time

Positive experience: It's good to take young kids. Changing rooms are communal and need a little update. The water is lovely and warm.

Positive experience: Gym is quite good small but space is used really well staff are polite and attentive, pool is good and quite warm aswell, the only let down for me is the changing rooms, there are none big enough for us to share as a family with very young children and they could do with a scrubb other than that it's a great place.

Fantastic experience: I joined this gym in August following a knee replacement operation. The staff are very helpful and friendly, so pleased I have joined it never too busy. And right on my doorstep

Positive experience: Basic gym but has what you need. I'm never able to swim due to swimming classes and clubs which is disappointing. Not always the cleanest. Air con breaks on a regular basis. Quiet in the gym when I go. Pleasant environment.

Negative experience: We found it strange that there was no space available at the pool since only 30 people are allowed to swim at a time. We returned after over an hour, and the pool was still not accessible. There is no indication of a person limit on their website, the only information provided is "public swim," so it's impossible to check availability. I do not recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Great simple swimming pool. Excellent pool for small children that is warm enough to stay in for long times. Prices for a family are reasonable, staff were friendly. Changing rooms were OK. Need updating as have been to nicer. Showers were very warm, could have stayed for ages!

Positive experience: Swimming pool is good, with inflatables in there at times. The astroturf is old and has been covered in way too much sand. There's a big car park due to this being at the high school.
