Positive experience: Some of the equipment has seen better days, but this is still a very good gym.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. The staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. The gym, the changing rooms and the poolside are clean. It’s a nice place.

Negative experience: Sauna not working for long periods of time, shampoos missing out of all the male shower dispensers, this isn't the first time this has happened, also changing room area very old and dated with lots of the locker doors broken and not working.

Negative experience: The female staff give you bad looks and very racist. and sauna is closed from september until october 2024 and some tearing gym machine. dosent gave good manager and Some places are dirty. And Always all tv is off ?? Why ?? And changing room area very old and dated with lots of the locker doors broken and not working and need one change room men for changing dress. im very not satisfied.

Positive experience: Well equipped gym and pool, would benefit from having military fitness trainers for some class's who could organise outdoor events too like trail runs , hikes etc

Positive experience: Good enough gym for a reasonable price, cant fault the staff, always polite and friendly, only problem with the place is the age of some of the machines with some in need of repair often for weeks at a time. Pool is an added bonus as not many in Hull have this on offer (without paying a ridiculous price) The only other thing that lets the place down is the opening times. Limited on a weekend and Friday

Fantastic experience: Would just like to say how the staff dealt with an emergency today when a lady was taken ill in the pool, the staff were on the ball very quickly and professional in their actions until the paramedics arrived, well done.

Fantastic experience: Really Good workout space and the staff and people are lovely. The money you pay is worth every bit.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended. Good classes mostly the combat class. If you are looking at doing a good full body cardio exercise to keep fit and lose weight, that class is perfect for you.

Positive experience: Need to get a hot drinks machine

Fantastic experience: Always struggled with the gym in the past and felt like I didn't fit in but everlast Hull has really changed my mind, the team that work there are great and go above and beyond, the equipment is great and even when it's busy you always manage to get your workout done. Wouldn't change now.

Negative experience: As having a rolling monthly student membership I was eligible to freeze the membership which I did through the app which then got rejected but no one made me aware that this can happen and did happen. Then just being told tough by the staff and I should check myself was the final straw.

Fantastic experience: Swimming lessons for my son.. really really good, he wants to go everyday. The pool and changing facilities and so lovely

Fantastic experience: Easily the best gym in East Hull. There are a number of gyms near to me that I’ve used and this is easily the best. Staff are more than helpful, really engaging and approachable and make it an easy place to go to daily.

Positive experience: Staff are really friendly, the gym itself is always clean, but other gym users never put their weight away and if they do, not properly. Dumbell rack is always a bit of a mess, dumbbells not where they’re suppose to be. (Drives me mad) this isn’t the gym or staffs fault though this is jus other gym users. The gym itself is okay, just needs more equipment. Could do with a pec fly/reverse fly. It has plate and pin load machines, just a pitty that the equipment is all techno gym. For your every day joe going to this gym it’s perfect, but if you’re serious about your training and making serious gains and improving your physique then I’d go to another gym. Overall: the gym is okay, staff are real good, but I think expensive for what you’re getting. I will be changing gyms when my contract runs out.

Fantastic experience: Great staff!! Amazing atmosphere makes you want to train when you walk in. When I need advice the staff are always there to help me out.

Negative experience: They don't have the air con on and if they do it's very low and your sweating before u even finished ya stretching. The female staff give you dirty looks and make u feel like walking back out the gym door and the place is dirty. But the main thing is they take double the amount out your bank account most times and they repay you for it after a few days but if this is your last bit of money then your guna lose out for a few days. It's really is the worst gym iv ever been too. And once my pass is finished am leaving there. P.s I wrote this on my partner profile and she doesn't go to this gym so it's not her that's wrote this.

Fantastic experience: We go for kids swimming ‍♂️ the place is clean well warmed and staff are friendly and helpful

Positive experience: Joined mainly for swimming. I go early around 7.30 sometimes busy and other scale quiet. Tidy. Not tried the gym part yet but will. Pool is quite big alot of people walk rather than swim. Showers could do with a good clean like most showers grout/sealer going moldy no reflection on cleaner. It's life.

Positive experience: Lockers not good some don't work sone take keys home don't do nothing about that man in steam room shaving his bits playing self not good management don't care they should be watching camera see what he isdoing

Fantastic experience: The staff here are second to none, super helpful, knowledgeable and have heaps of time for members. They have a wide range of equipment that is kept well cleaned.

Negative experience: rubbish sauna been closed about 6 weeks absolutely no urgency to repair seems they don't care about paying members as they have complained about this. not getting service which we are paying for should give members a refund most of the time get get a decent swim as it is fill of school kids ,I know they need to learn to swim but why not use council run gyms .everlast are just penny pinching and don't deserve the members they have got

Positive experience: I use this gym for convenience it's easy on the way to work .most things once broken stay that way for weeks. There are better gyms out there but the staff are decent enough. Would be 4 maybe 5 stars if everything in it worked and wasn't 20 years old

Positive experience: Jacuzzi bordered over the loungers on top look strange can't imagine anyone laid on them ..pool area painted very black /grey so it makes the pool area look darker .. showers in pool area are good ..

Fantastic experience: Staff are very helpful, equipment is brilliant and something for everyone, pool is closed temporarily until friday due to a refurbishment but definitely cant fault them for that as updating everything, thank you again

Positive experience: Member since 2003 it was a jjb, than dw now everlast, jjb were running more professional, they had maintenance man on board and equipment fixed asap, best thing at everlast at the moment is lovely staff, so friendly and helpful, but Jacuzzi still out of order for months, if not fix asap unfortunately will loose lots of members

Fantastic experience: Fabulous gym, loads of equipment to use, swimming pool, sauna. Very clean, top class changing areas and helpful friendly staff that are willing to go above and beyond to ensure your visit is perfect.

Negative experience: these are an absolute joke, my wife cancel her membership in line with there cancellation requirements (in writing) they claimed they never got it. also said she didn't have to give notice as she signed up when they first opened and they went back on that aswell, avoid this gym they are full of lies and there management are rude and obnoxious

Negative experience: The gym lacks equipment and what it does have is poorly maintained. Once you are in the contract, good luck getting out. It would easier to get put of guantanamo Bay than the contract these thieves shackle you into. I'd say read the small print. But they sign you up in the office amd don't give you a chance. Then when you try and cancel the cancellation is rejected. I only pay one membership and they managed to send an email telling me they couldn't cancel my membership because my email was linked to more than one account. Con artists. Should have known better than to deal with anything connected to Mike Ashley.

Negative experience: First of all, the staff at Everlast Hull are fantastic, really helpful and friendly. The facilities, not so good.. the mens changing rooms and toilets are pretty disgusting, always smells of urine and the showers are either cold or scolding, we were promised a refurb by April 2021, we are now November and it doesn't look likely any time soon. The gym equipment is the gear which was left over by DW which is pretty good quality, just a little worn and needs a good service. My main problem with this gym is that the pool is rented out to kids classes for 90% of the day, this is an adults gym with a premium price tag, not a council funded fun pool. Edit March 2024: Still haven't had a refurb.

Positive experience: Kids for swimming lessons pool looks nice changing rooms nice an tidy an big.. gym looks good but maybe a little on the dark side.

Negative experience: Lots of issues with the place , same as a lot of others too many baby swimming classes , us members have to fit our swimming in with them . Also a massive health & safety issue in the changing rooms , babies are laid all over the floor , nobody dries off before so floor is always soaking wet, a trip hazard for all , a gentleman member aired his concerns with the older swimming lessons when the fathers take the little girls and they have to get changed in the Mens communal changing rooms , there should be a separate section !! But that’s Mike astley all over ? It’s all and only about the money !! I keep hoping it gets bought by someone else who actually cares, as it could be a lovely gym , the staff are all really friendly, polite and helpful , more than can be said for the manager ( absolute jobsworth) this place will never get a refurb as there’s not enough money coming in , everyone’s cancelling,

Positive experience: Gradually things are getting back to normal, hopefully the jacuzzis will be operating shortly. Numbers certainly seem to be picking up.

Negative experience: No refurb as yet and still no Jacuzzis. Although we have music the music is rubbish. Good to be back though and people and staff are great

Positive experience: Excellent and efficient service from the guys there and so glad that this DW has been taken over by Mr Mike Ashley. He likes saving British Brands ❤️

Negative experience: If you like people filming you and using the gym as a recording studio, this gym is for you!! Never have I felt so uncomfortable, constantly people walking around filming including staff, it took a lot of encouragement to get my partner to join and now she's had her confidence shattered by a member who posted videos with her in the background. Everlast encourage this kind of thing now, soon as I'm free from my contract, I'm leaving!!
