Negative experience: Wildmoor is a wonderful facility but i was on the class booking site within 10 seconds of opening and couldn’t get into a single class this week. There can be up to 20 people on the waiting list for a class of 20 places. It’s an expensive club if you can’t access any classes

Fantastic experience: All of the staff I met were warm and welcoming. Especially the lady who got me a blanket for the relaxation room. I had a really good massage, although 25 minutes seemed to go very quickly ! The Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were all working well and a lovely temperature. I paid the £10 for robe and towel hire and I got two towels, which was useful.

Negative experience: I wouldn’t recommend a spa day here, especially if you are looking for a relaxing vibe as the pool area gets used for aqua aerobics with loud fast pace music. The afternoon tea was shocking, food not to a level I would come to expect at this place. No tea/coffee was actually provided either. Where the steam/sauna room was it smelt strong like urine and the toilet you can see wear and tear and build up of black mould spots. Unfortunately I was also left with bruising on my neck after receiving a neck,shoulder back massage (this appears 24 hours after) and my friends who also attended the day was left experiencing tenderness. Have reached out and made a complaint but unfortunately my complaint was dismissed.

Positive experience: Lovely spot for a spa and very well equipped. Great value if you can catch the deals. Only issues were a few jets in the hot tub didn't seem to work and there was one room in the spa area with no sign as to what it was. Food served in the cafe is decent if a little over-priced. Otherwise a lovely spa in pretty surroundings.

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed my day pass at Wildmoor and will be back. Had Razul mud treatment which left skin soft and then enjoyed the pool and saunas. Had lunch outside, all lovely

Negative experience: Can’t even get through to them. Multiple call attempts. 6 attempts over the last two hours and multiple attempts throughout yesterday. Wanted to book a spa day for my husband, but the website booking process isn’t great and I wanted clarification on what I was booking, especially with other reviews showing that no amendments will be accepted once they have your money. Really poor and not what I would expect from a bannatyne spa

Negative experience: Wasn't going to pay £12 for a towel and robe. I wasn't told I was able to get just the robe as the woman behind the counter had a face like a smacked behind and clearly doest care about customers. It would have been my first time at a spa but I decided to go home. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant gym and spa. Im a member and attend regularly. The classes are all brilliant, the gym team and all trainers are fantastic - they motivate me every time I go and everyone is really friendly and welcoming. The spa team are also fabulous. I recently treated myself and can highly recommend a treatment here.

Fantastic experience: Great spa day for me and a friend. Staff really welcoming and accommodating. Facilities are faultless. We went on a sunny day so the loungers in the garden are a great touch to relax. Food in cafe was excellent.

Fantastic experience: I treated my girlfriend to a spa day with massage. The whole experience was great, pool, hot tub, sauna and massage were perfect. The only annoying part was the cafe on site forgot about the sweet fries me and my girlfriend ordered, after nearly 50 minutes they came and they were very tasty. Won't mark the late food down as the whole place, the staff and the experience was fantastic. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic spa day for a hen do, robe hire on its own was only £4 which was really good value, and although it was mother's day and the spa was quite busy there are lots of different areas to relax in so you always got a good amount of time in each area. We had treatments done by Beth who was amazing and very professional. Although they had to replace our lunch with an afternoon tea due to the Chef being off, we didn't mind as it was really tasty with ham and lettuce, tuna, and cheese sandwiches, with a scone and clotted cream and jam each, and then a chocolate eclair and brownie. Would 100% recommend.

Some of the equipment was so tightly positioned that some people kept encroaching on your workout area. To be honest, it was probably just bad gym etiquette on their part.

Negative experience: Booked this spa as a Christmas present for my mum as a full-time student so wasn’t cheap and definitely hurt the bank account. Woke up with a contagious sickness bug the day off and would have expected to be able to change the day of visiting in conditions like this. Had barely any response when calling or emailing until the time our treatments were supposed to be. Lack of care in the response. I understand the 48 hour cancellation period but in experiences like this it definitely seems they only care about money as opposed to getting returning visitors. Now £90 down and my mum didn’t get her Christmas present. Will definitely be looking elsewhere in the future

Positive experience: Good facilties and nice bright space. The spa is excellent. Food however is not so good. We had an afternoon tea, I was provided with a salad sandwich, that was it. My other half was provided with a cheese salad sandwich. I have to say, not the most inspiring for a "high tea". A shame as the gym, pool and spa are good, probably will dodge the the catering here in the future. Pretty rubbish.

Negative experience: Accidentally booked the wrong day (sleep deprived 5 days after our baby was born). Was told because of terms and conditions that there was no chance to amend the booking. I appreciate that these Ts & Cs are there to stop no shows but honestly, this was booked less than 5pm the day before for 10am (by genuine error). Highly unlikely that slot would have been filled. I was looking forward to this first use of the place so much but how sad that a big business can’t actually be flexible enough to see customers as individuals. Being asking to rebook at full price just makes me feel they’re only interested in money. Sad.

Fantastic experience: We were staying in Stratford Upon Avon for a few days and found out that there was a Bannatyne Spa nearby and booked to spend the day. We knew it would be a good day as we regularly visit the one in Hastings. We booked one of the offers online. I join the 45 minute Aqua aerobics class, it was the first time for me and I really enjoyed it. The jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and pool were lovely but our favourite room was the calderium. We both had a head massage and mini back massage. Can't wait to get back to Bannatyne again.

Fantastic experience: Me and my partner were having a torrid day getting a wheelchair accessible taxi and this spa went above and beyond for us. The customer service was impeccable and although we weren’t paying customers I could not speak more highly of them

Negative experience: Unfortunately I had to leave Wildmoor due to relocation. The Club and Staff were great. The central team are a different story. I havent been able to visit the club since the beginning of August and I was late with cancelation but I am still being asked to pay another months membership. There is no human side to the central team, text book responses even when things are escalated. Why am I paying for membership when I cant use the facilities??? Unfortunatley it has made a good experience turn bad. I wouldn't recommend bannatyne to others on this basis and left feeling really disappointed

Positive experience: Although I was a 5mins late, I was ushered through to begin my massage immediately. The set up was quite nice, with lovely scented candles and low lighting which combined to create a very relaxing atmosphere. The masseuse was polite, kind and very good at what she does. I was left relaxed and feeling great after my massage. However, afterwards when I went to enquire about food, I was answered a bit rudely from 2 persons at the front desk. Other than that, the spa itself was very nice, and quite peaceful.

Fantastic experience: Recently joined as a member. What a fantastic place, the spa looks amazing and is an actual spa unlike some other clubs that state they have a spa and it's just a hot tub! Lots of classes and the swimming pool is stunning - it's not massive but it's still fabulous!

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing spa day experience here, from the moment we arrived to checking out the staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful. I took part in my first ever aqua fit class and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was excellent. The treatments were heavenly. My therapist was Becki and I could not praise her enough, she removed every knot and the products used were bliss. I upgraded to the Frangipani hair mask,and I have never used such a brilliant product. The morning after my hair feels soft, silky shiny and manageable. All of the staff are smiling and welcoming to every guest. Cannot wait to return. Thank you Wildmoor Spa.

Fantastic experience: My husband brought me a spa day and afternoon tea which my mom and I used today. From the moment we walked in, the ladies in the spa couldn't do enough for us. They rearranged my times slightly so I could have a massage with a pregnancy trained therapist which was wonderful and a lovely surprise. My mom thoroughly enjoyed her treatments as well. We spent the rest of the day in the relaxation room, around the pool and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon tea. Thank you all.

Fantastic experience: I had never been on a spa day before so this was my first. I can happily say it won't be my last. What a great experience I had. The facilities and treatments were exactly what you'd expect from such a prestigious place. The prices are high, in my opinion, but we only went for the day. I think if I lived closer, I'd be tempted by their membership. Highly recommend this place though as it was a very enjoyable and relaxing day

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible experience. Was told by the staff twice at the desk that I could have breakfast before my treatments then I was refused my treatments even though I had paid for them. They are still refusing to refund me for services they haven’t provided and I have been treated like mud for the past few days. I will never return to this spa again after the way I have been treated and how they just steal your money with no remorse.

Negative experience: I bought a package online through spa seekers for a premium day at the spa which included a Swedish back massage. I was on my own as I decided to spend a self care day alone, I had never been to this location before and didn’t know how anything worked. I went into the main entrance and waited a bit until I caught the eye of a receptionist, and I said what I was there for and that I’d never been. He just indicated to follow him so I did and he just told me where everything was and said if I get stuck come back to main desk. That was all fine BUT no offer or question if I had a towel or robe etc? I would’ve thought this is one of the most obvious things to discuss with a guest coming into the spa? So I went into the changing rooms before my treatment as I had lots of spare time, but after I’d got changed into my swimming costume, I realised I had no towel etc, so I had to then get changed again to go back up to main desk- by this point I felt really anxious and fed up so decided to leave and state I had a family emergency. I went up to main desk to state that I was leaving and I won’t be doing my treatment and a rude lady said well you need to let the spa therapists know. ( by this point I saw the pile of towels which hadn’t been offered to me when I first came in) Was told I would be contacted by manager to rearrange but I haven’t heard anything 4 weeks later. To conclude I would recommend the company to employ staff that know basic manners and good customer service and how to create a relaxing experience for customers, as mine was far from it. Would not recommend and will not be going back!

Positive experience: The facilities and staff were very good! We had a lovely day and some nice massage treatments. Unfortunately, the £20 bags for a gown, towels and flip flops felt like a rip off, even if you get £10 back when you return the towels/gown. Overall, we had a great day though.

Positive experience: Nice place. I had a great massage, better than I've had at spas previously, so I was very impressed with that. The pool area is lovely and clean, but it's not very big and is fully on display to the cafe

Negative experience: Had a lovely spa day but was gutted at the end when my swimming costume got ruined by the dryer. This was on 5th November- I STILL haven’t heard back from the health club after they told me to email for compensation of the swimming costume. I’ve emailed 3 times and spoken to front of house. A whole month of no communication after somebody complains is not acceptable.

Positive experience: Went for a relaxing day with my daughters, staff was polite and friendly, food was good. We did find some of the members were rude and a bit above themselves. We all pay a lot of money to experience what the place has to offer. Just because we paid for a day visit doesn't mean we are beneath them. Don't believe I would book again. Some people are just too stuck up and Rude. Feel sorry for the staff if they have to put up with people like that on a daily basis.

Fantastic experience: I have had spa treatments with Jodie, Katie, Megan and Rebecca All of these spa attendants are absolutely fantastic at what they do - they always communicate clearly, the facilities are always clean (hygiene is clearly prioritised) and they make me feel at ease. They are all clearly very knowledgeable about what they do and act with complete professionalism. To summarise, the experiences I have had have been brilliant from booking to completion of treatment!

Fantastic experience: I have been to the spa a couple of times, I had a facial off Wiktoria and Katie they were both really amazing, so friendly, I would 100% recommend them to anyone and the spa was really nice and clean

Negative experience: They ignore the reception phone, and pick it up and leave it on the counter without greeting, so that we can hear all the conversations of the reception staff, whilst knowing that they’re ignoring us

Positive experience: They have done the place up since I last visited. Bought new loungers. The place was lovely and clean. Staff were friendly. Had a lovely massage. Food was disappointing, not much choice and expensive for what you got. I ordered a baguette, which said it came with a salad and crisps. It was actually only a handful of leaves

Negative experience: I cant condemn this company enough. I took out a 3 month package includiing treatments at £115 50 per month. I didnt manage book in for a treatment that i wanted in that time as they never had any times available. I managed to book into just 1 class that i wanted. I stopped going in the last 4 weeks as i mainly wanted the classes. I then get told that i had to cancel in writing a month before the 3 month membership i ordered and paid for finished even though i only asked for 3 months and they advertise a 3 month membership.Thay still havent cancelled in spite of me telling them in writing and are adding 115 pounds each month to a bill for a service i didnt ask for and am not using. They couldbn even fit me in for the treatments i paid for during the 3 months. Shameful

Fantastic experience: What a pleasure it was to go to this spa!. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we can't praise the staff and facilities enough. The lady on reception was amazing made us feel like valued customers, nothing was too much trouble for her. The guys in the cafeteria we so helpful and friendly too. The facilities were excellent and our beauty treatments were out of this world. We have been to other spa's and feel like we are part of a conveyor belt process, but the staff her are lovely. Fantastic experience: Staff very friendly and helpful. Place is clean. Had a spa session. The lady was understanding and knowledgeable about massage. Massage was good, Personally I'd liked a deeper hard massage but afterwards I felt good and relaxed. My face felt clean. Was a relaxing time all round.

Positive experience: We had a lovely day here at the spa. We paid for the day. The treatment I had was very relaxing. I had the facial. Then we went in the pool and the hydrotherapy pool. Only problem if you want to read your book, it's a bit dark. The sauna and steam room were very good too and managed to pull the cold bucket over my head! The beds that had lighting were taken. We had lunch there which was also good. My friend made use of the gym and we had a game of tennis. We ended up enjoying a glass of wine in the bar afterwards. This was a birthday present and I really enjoyed it!

Positive experience: The changing rooms were nice and very modern. The treatments were fantastic and the beauticians were great. The treatment rooms themselves were lovely, however the relaxation area before was slightly dated and the 'secret garden' (dilapidated garden). In the spa itself, a lot of it was very dated, most of the lounge chairs were broken and didn't actually recline, you could only lay flat. The showers in the spa area were grim and extremely rusted. Everywhere you looked it was a handy man's dream many things needed mending or ripping out and starting again. I expected a fair spa for the price but not a grim one. However, I was told this is the best of the Bannatyne spas near us, which was a blessing I suppose

Positive experience: The restaurant was dissapointing. The pizza was big but not very nice. Spa treatments were good. Not enough space for relaxation room as it was also used as the holding area for people waiting to be called for therapy.

Positive experience: The Vegan Afternoon tea was a little bit sad but the food generally looked pretty good. The pool, treatments and spa facilities were fantastic (although the Steam room was out of order) Clean, relaxed vibe, amazing massage, friendly staff and easy to find.

Fantastic experience: Everything you need in a health club, pool, sauna, steam room and therapy pool, plus the extras you appreciate. Plentiful supply of cleaning wipes for gym equipment, multiple water filling stations and automatic bands for lockers.

Fantastic experience: Three of us went for a spa day and 3 treatment package. We had a back massage, facial and scalp massage. We all really enjoyed the treatments, the products used smelt amazing which you can purchase in the shop after (They are rather pricey though). The facilities were all clean and well looked after. The jacuzzi was spacious and swimming pool was an okay size.

Fantastic experience: Paid for a luxury spa day through redletterdays.co.uk Facilities were very clean, changing rooms had hairdryers and a swim costume spinner. Robes/ towels/ flipflop cost £20 to hire with £10 refunded afterwards, which I thought was a little steep since spas like Thermae have the robes included in the cost. Treatments were relaxing and staff were friendly and helpful.

Negative experience: Planned a spa day with my bestie with some massages. In the morning we've been informed that our massages are cancelled but that they'll reschedule our spa day. I've been calling weekly and in the rare occasions that they pick up the phone I'm always asked to send an email and someone will get back to me. This happened in January and after several emails and calls I still didn't get to have a spa day

Negative experience: The worst service I ever had. I booked a Spa Day(including full body massage) in January which I could not use because the Spa was closed(they had a power cut). The receptionist promised to call me back to reschedule the service,no one did. I called multiple times and they said they will let me know when they have a place available. One of the Spa staff gave an email where I can complain/send enquiries. No one responded. It was the most disappointing service ever specifically because the Spa day was booked for a special occasion and I never used the service.

Fantastic experience: Enjoyed a fantastic spa day with 6 friends for my birthday. Used to be a regular before it was Bannatyne and was a bit nervous about returning but had a great day. Friendly service with a smile a delicious brunch and relaxing treatment. Special thanks to Amy and Sue who were a brilliant.

Fantastic experience: I had a spa day experience with treatments. Everyone was very welcoming. A young lady showed us around and explained all the facilities available to us. Had lovely lunch. A really nice selection on menus. Definitely booking to go again
