Fantastic experience: A really good place to spend a few days. The vans were spotless, heated and lit on arrival, with a welcome pack. Very welcoming on a cold night after a long drive. Some nice touches with the attention to detail with the bedding, towels and toilet rolls. The bar staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for you. Sarah, Eileen and Ben done all they could to make sure you felt welcome and comfortable. The site is pet friendly and is very accommodating and has it's own gated dog park, in fact, Wee Mac our dog, couldn't have been more welcomed, and loved his puppy pack he got with his cosy new jumper. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

Fantastic experience: Had a long weekend here was the perfect place for us really nice park we arrived quite late so just went straight for food which was delicious, caravan was nice, clean and modern lovely swimming pool not very big but perfect for younger children venue was really good too.

Positive experience: This was my first time in Viewfield Manor, the caravan was lovely! We stayed in a 3 bed Sage. The double room is really roomy, the twin rooms are pretty standard, and the bathrooms/shower was quite big! The park itself is quiet I think (at least in Oct). That being said we did have a bad experience with the onsite restaurant, where an older male member of staff was really creepy and rude with my group (he made fun of our accents, then brought in football and what teams we supported and was a rude cause he didn’t like the teams we said), we ended up not eating there as it made one of my group uncomfortable. We did return one evening for drinks and the same staff member was there and was rather belligerent (and this time he put another staffer in a really awkward position when we were at the bar) and it again left a bad taste in our mouths and really ruined my friends quiet weekend away wedding planning. We left the bar and then tried the arcade for a bit of childhood nostalgia and 3 separate machines were broken (there aren’t a lot of machines to begin with) including the change machine. We ended up checking out early, cause the weekend was really disappointing. I’d go back to the caravan itself but not the site amenities.

Positive experience: Overall caravan was lovely, not very much to do, used one claw machine and it broke. After a brief conversation with the manager he came across very rude, very disrespectful and unprofessional, very arrogant old man. He refused to serve his customers drinks whom were sober and the bar was very much empty, very unusual and strange behaviour. Won't be returning, will definitely go back to sandylands, would rather listen to the slaughter house there than have to speak to the very rude manager ever again.

Fantastic experience: We have family who live in Irvine, so travel up from England a couple of times a year. This is a lovely caravan park which is very clean. We stayed in a two-bedroom Ivy caravan which was modern and comfortable with central heating, fast WiFi, two televisions, two toilets, a large shower, a balcony, a wooden table and chairs next to the private parking space, cooker, microwave, full size fridge-freezer, large sofa and dining table. There were plenty of plugs too for all of our devices. The upkeep was good throughout. The playground, sauna and dog exercise area all looked new. The pool was so warm, 31 degrees apparently. As we have family nearby we didn't use the shop or entertainment areas, but it's nice to have the option. There is also an amusement arcade for the children. It was excellent value for money, we will certainly return.

Fantastic experience: Just bought a van here love the park.

Fantastic experience: I booked a 2 bedroom for my Wife and 3 Kids. Got there and find 3 bedrooms and 2 toilets which I was fortunate. The service was top notch as well as the facilities. We had fun at the pool and got to work out a bit at the gym. The only issue is that the shop wasn't well stacked and there need to bring an in-house transportation like a golf cart or mini bus to transport guests from the reception area to their respective caravans. Other than this, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the park and we look forward to more visits to the park.

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic caravan park.. spotlessly clean and tidy and had a fantastic meal in the restaurant courtesy of Stewart the chef. This is a fantastic caravan park. Excellent staff excellent service and a great place to enjoy the caravan experience.

Negative experience: I booked in for a week and requested a 3 bedroom caravan, the cupboard in the main bedroom was a single with very few hangers, there was 1 toilet it was looking like a two bedroom converted into a three no matter what I said no one took any notice and from then on I have and will never go back

Negative experience: AVOID ALL ALL COST - MONEY GRABBING SCAMMERS! Had a van on the site but was written off with our insurance. Paid our site feels in full in Nov 23 for the year ahead, 24. Was advised in Dec 24 about the van being wrote off. Phoned site to make them aware n asked about my fees. Gary sales manager was off, so spoke with James who confirmed we would get back 100% as we had told them before the cut off of the new year. Advised can't get the fees back until Gary is back in Jan. Called today for update and I'm now being told this is not the case, that I am lying!!! and it will only get back 60%!!!! I've paid nearly 4k and was reassured this would be back in full as the new year hadn't even began!! Waiting on a call back, lets see if this will even happen. Do you think if i was lying I would only be kicking up now! Absolute joke. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Fantastic experience: We went down to Viewfield Manor for the weekend mainly to take our elderly dog away from the fireworks, the caravan was spotless as was the site in general, all the staff were very attentive and helpful to, small shop had all the essentials, the bar was good for a pint albeit quite expensive almost £6 for a pint of Corona, the food was ok, and a tad expensive for what it was, £14 for 2 cheese and ham toasties for instance, this probably explains why the bars pretty quiet as it would cost you a small fortune to sit there all night, there's a good Indian restaurant next door and Just Eat have plenty of options nearby, the site claims to have WiFi but its very poor, we couldn't really connect at our caravan, we did take a 4g router with us with an unlimited data sim and this functioned brilliantly, we'll be booking again for next year as the place was relatively quiet in terms of the fireworks, you could hear them in the distance but the dog was fine with them being that far away.

Negative experience: Not a nice caravan park customer service is appalling and so called management are a disgrace

Fantastic experience: Fantastic! We had a great week here. This was our second visit, and we will be returning. Great accommodation, friendly staff.well maintained site. We stayed in a dog friendly caravan which was spotless. Unfortunately, we didn't use any of the many on site facilities as we were visiting family. I left my wedding ring on the dressing table, and before we even got home (a 4 hour journey) I was contacted to say that housekeeping had found it, and they would post it back to me. Thank you

Negative experience: Exceptionally expensive at the place. Pints prices are appalling. Amusements take money but only pay tickets thus no change of winning. Building is low roof and very depressing. Also full of some shady characters. I would never buy a caravan here!

Fantastic experience: One of the BEST caravan parks we have recently visited. First Class entertainment, food and facilities and the drinks are very reasonably priced. Really clean inside and good play facilities for the kiddies too. 10 out of 10 for customer service and hygiene standards.

Fantastic experience: We’re really enjoying our stay, the site is clean, quiet and I’ve found everyone really polite, staff, caravan owners and holiday makers. Our 12 year old daughter loves it. I would definitely recommend it. We’ve been touring the local area from the information sheet supplied and have found some really nice places. We really can’t fault this site. There are good local amenities too, Irvine has good retail parks, Aldi, and other supermarkets. There’s enough on site for us, little shop, bar, pool etc. But I suppose if you want to stay on the site all the time you’d want more from it. For us it was just a base, who would want to travel all the way to Scotland just to stay on a caravan site.

Negative experience: Have a van on site. Love my van but not very much on site for the amount of vans on site. Should have a lot more for children. I'd recommend a soft play area be built.

Negative experience: Staying for a holiday: Caravan was suitable and in a clean state. The bathroom light was broken but got fixed as soon as we reported. However, this place is not worth the money. They advertise they do breakfast, they only do that on weekends. Food is only cooked by one chef and they are not the times advertised. Bingo is the main form of entertainment, nothing for children. The arcade games are mainly broken and the main focus is the bar. Not suitable for families to do stuff on the day and nights. Bins overflowed as no one uses the other bins. Not worth the money charged to stay here.

Positive experience: Good park staff great only let down is the sudden price rise on draught beers cider up 80p a pint ridiculous won't be using it when I can goto the tandoori restaurant in more comfortable surroundings and price is £3.60 a pint met 4 other owners on Saturday that are doing this with more too follow just pure greed by management

Fantastic experience: I live about 2 miles from here. It's my nearest shop. The staff are always efficient and friendly. I only pop in now and then for sweets and toys for my grand daughter. I only spend a few quid, but the staff treat me like their biggest customer. I hope to make use of their pool, gym and pub. (If they'll let me!).

Fantastic experience: An amazing caravan park, the staff were lovely and went above and beyond for us. They even helped us when our car wouldn’t start and gave us extra ticket prizes so all kids could have the same. the caravan was beautiful and very clean the only improvement i could ask for is better wifi but it was still usable, we had a great time would for sure come again :)

Fantastic experience: Staff in the main reception were brilliant, very friendly and helpful. The holiday park had all the facilities you'll need, with or without children and the camp and caravans are maintained to a very good standard. It is a little out of the way but the local town, Kilwining, is only a short journey away, (15 mins) by car and from there you can get a train to all local attractions. I would recommend a stay there.

Negative experience: This place is a joke they would not let a taxi in the park to pick up a disabled wheelchair my hire not happy

Negative experience: Couldn't use the park, couldn't use the pool, couldn't use a high chair at the outdoor seating even in glorious weather, the shop barely had the bare essentials, wasn't staffed and didn't display prices. Worst of all over all of this was the staff who couldn't be bothered to offer up any sort of solution to any of this. A shrug and an apology. Nice one.

Fantastic experience: We are biased, my wife and I have a caravan there. We sold our motor home and bought the van. Viewfield has everything we need, pool gym, shop, laundry entertainment pub restaurant play area and lovely staff

Fantastic experience: We used Verdant Leisure,Thurston Manor park, many times over a number of years with our Motorhome which we decided to park up for good but we still wanted a holiday. So made the decision to try out other Verdant Leisure parks by hiring a caravan. We were not disappointed when we arrived at VIEWFIELD MANOR at our dog friendly caravan. The van was spotless well maintained with all the necessary dishes and utensils required, although we did use the bar/restaurant a few times. The park is very convenient for trips to the lovely Ayrshire coastal towns and beaches. Many thanks to the staff in all areas of the park for their contributions to making our holiday.

Negative experience: Poor, the manager of the park is rude and ignorant. Owned a van on site here and the treatment was abysmal. Head office absolutely no help and struggled to even get a reply from them. Verdant leisure as a whole are terrible, very very poor staff and customer service, only interested in money.
