Positive experience: Cafe stuff not very friendly and don't have the right attitude for customers menu not good for swimmers also

Negative experience: Very awkward facility - staff and timetables not very accommodating to average users. Staff are snarky, rude and desperate to clock off at their convenience: ‘you’re lucky, I’ll let you in this time. But don’t go making a habit of it’. Evening swimming is 8:30-9. This is advertised on the pool time table. However if you turn up at 8:31 you will not be allowed in. Not clear this is their policy from in their website. I only tolerate it because I love swimming. Pool quality varies, changing rooms filthy and lockers don’t work.

Fantastic experience: Been attending classes for a few weeks. It’s a busy centre and the staff are fantastic and friendly. All classes I’ve attended so far are spin/circuit, body conditioning and circuits all instructors have been very professional with full lesson plan prepared. I would highly recommend to anyone

Fantastic experience: Love the pool and all the team are helpful and informative gym is good too as has a lot of equipment for a small gym. The only thing would be to have more availability in weekend for the pool. But overall very good and clean .

Negative experience: The gym is okay but you cannot use the next room (for classes) even if nobody is there and there is no classes at that time. Also, its a little annoying the fact that half an hour before closing some members of the staff are desperate to close the gym, “for cleaning”.

Negative experience: Tuned up 4 minintes late and was told too late everyone was still getting changed this place is a joke Waste of my time disappointed little girl. Get a grip u say online 8.30 until 9. 30pm So y would it matter if I was four minutes late. I fell I was treated like a fool won't be back

Negative experience: Showed up here at 8:34 for a public swim session that starts at 8:30 and we were told they couldn’t let anyone in after 8:00. It was literally 4 minutes! After driving all that way. Extremely disappointed.

Positive experience: Clean and relatively well maintained sports centre. Pool and changing rooms can sometimes be a bit cold though. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Just wish you could book online when you have a membership rather than having to phone or go into the reception.

Positive experience: Very friendly, approachable and helpful. Best to telephone if you have any questions. Recommend avoiding pool times near the swimming club, especially in the morning, as all cubicles are full of clothing and other belongings. BTW there is a sauna and steam room available for additional charge

Positive experience: Good facility for all sorts of fitness needs - a good sized swimming pool, fitness suite - with all you could need, crèche at specified times, fitness classes to suit your needs - no excuses get started. The cafe has reopened .

Positive experience: Very disappointed with the life guard on the morning session of the swim meet. A young swimmer had a panic attack during a race an the life guard didn't see it as he wasn't watching, when a time keeper went across to get him to help her out he still didn't help. An other time keeper from Galashiels helped calm her down and once she finally got to the side 2 life guards finally help pull her out. After the life guard went back to his spot he didn't even watch any off the swimmers in the pool. Ud think he'd have learned from the race b4. How he's a life guard beggers belief. Disgusting how people don't seem to care in a important role like that.

Positive experience: Great place to go, the staff are always friendly and helpful, cafe is a really nice place to relax and chat after exercise. Only negative I can think of relates to the fact that so many of the lockers in the changing rooms are broken and none of them have been converted yet to take the new pound coins.
