Negative experience: Outdated. Dirty changing rooms for swimming pool. Gym tiny. The most disappointing is that staff do not have much customer care skills. When I was there to ask questions about kids party, I was dismissed with words“ you write what you want there, darling”. I noticed that couple lady’s were behind me ( what come to my attention after female staff member glance behind me , rolled her eyes and smiled) waiting for to be registered for exercise class. But I still think that staff members should be able to navigate situation by asking if I would be ok to wait while she registers class attendants. I do understand that Blairgowrie is small place and “everyone knows everyone” , but I do not think that stranger should call me “darling”. Quite frankly it is rude, patronising and very bad customer service. Hopefully the facilities will be improved when new development plan will be completed. Unfortunately I am not so sure about staff member customer skills. Come on Life Active Blairgowrie, pick up your game.

Positive experience: My partner took our 8 year old boy swimming here during a wet day on our hols. Friendly staff and a good sized pool. I sat in visitor viewing area - no cafe but a good coffee vending machine in reception area. A good offering, though I think in need of a little tlc.

Positive experience: I have experience with the swimming pool. It is a 20m long pool. There are 5 lines . Water temperature was comfortable. The male changing room was clean. Couple of cabins would be wery useful.

Positive experience: Good gym. A bit small. And need upgrade. Nice staff. Pool. Well need upgrade too. Water a bit cold. Changing room need upgrade too. You can feel draft. Again staff there nice.

Negative experience: The facility's equipment and room quality are substandard, failing to meet customer expectations for a comfortable and functional environment. Additionally, the operational hours are inconvenient for members, with extended closures such as a 10-day shutdown in December. Despite these limitations, membership fees remain unchanged, leading to concerns about value for money and customer satisfaction.

Positive experience: Municipal sports hall with a pool and various activities. Shares with a local high school. Looks a bit grim but good for kids (and active parties for 3-7 year olds)

Positive experience: As with any council run outfit it lacks proper financial input could do with modernisation and the pool is basic but it is clean the staff are friendly and they put alot of effort into classes and fun time for the kids

Positive experience: Live Active (or the reccy as its known) is a great sports centre with a nice gym. It isn't the biggest centre but manages to fit in a bit of everything within it, enough for what you need.
