Positive experience: Great place for the fitness.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym! Great selection of equipment and good space. Rarely busy when I go. (Not peak times). Recently taken over and had a lot of refurbishments. Only downside is it takes a while for things that are broken in the changing rooms to be repaired.

Positive experience: While the staff were friendly and very understanding the gym itself had various issues, alot of the equipment is very dated and needs replacing. This has been mentioned to the staff along with corporate. Be careful when they sign you up in town as they don't tell you until last moment you are locked in for a year. I shall add They do offer 3 and 6 months BUT YOU have to ask (I do have email proof that these were never offered to me) I only found out after my partner complained. Also becareful if you sign up late in the month as they will charge you for the entireity of the month, if you do insist on joining them please keep this in mind!

Positive experience: Good gym, great equipment and huge space. Sadly a bit run down and in need of repairs and some cleaning wipes though.

Negative experience: Joined in may 2024 on a 12 month contact and handed my fob back 2 august 2024, But have to pay to next may due to terrible contract but gym is not up to standard as after having inform them that the lights did not work a couple of times it took them way to long to address the issue, Gym practices are not followed as most gym users use the equipment and do not clean it after and Some of the equipment is way outdated e.g treadmills that do not know someone is using them at the time. Overall great staff and 24 hr access is great but the gym needs investment in better equipment.

Fantastic experience: My regular gym, my wife and I have been OG members since they opened. I've been going about 3 times per week for the last 3 years. Good selection of equipment, no waiting around all day trying to get a squat rack like 'The Gym' opposite, and sauna+steam room+tanning bed thrown in! Staff are all fantastic and easy to get on with. Was recently renovated and now looks slick with black and purple strobe lighting.

Negative experience: Perhaps keeping the area clean outside your gym !!! Absolutely disgusting

Negative experience: Had an awful experience at this gym with a member of staff 6~ months ago, to which I left feedback that was completely ignored until I brought it up with another member of staff (WELL over a month later). After this, I called up to cancel, but found I couldn't leave the gym due to a 12 month minimum term contract (which ended on the 1st of this month), ending early would require me to spend £180+ for the "difference in months". However, as the 1st was a bank holiday, I called up on the 2nd and got told I can't leave until the end of the following month due to a "30 day notice period" (which is ridiculous for a gym). All in all, some of the staff are down right rude, complaints get ignored and the contract is down-right deplorable. I'm down £200+ and can't leave the gym for another 60 days (despite wanting to leave this gym for well over 6 months now). For anyone looking for a gym in Ashford, I implore you to go to literally ANYWHERE else.

Fantastic experience: I used to be a member of this gym before it became Anytime Fitness and had never seen it change until now. I'm very impressed with the cleanliness ever since the new owners took over, as it was the biggest issue for me in the past. The new painting and lighting in the changing rooms look awesome. I hope there's more to come from you guys!

Negative experience: You dont leave ac on at night. Trying to kill me. And when are you going to upgrade your equipment :(. When i joined you also had nothing in your vending machines for month. Just feels poorly managed and hugely neglected.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended this place very friendly atmosphere, enough space for everyone, helpful staff around I was the most lazy person and now after 6 months I'm addicted... even after 12 hours shift I have enough energy for training with the best PT Reece Hargrave I can easy say he change my life

Positive experience: Basic equipment , but friendly staff. Sauna and free sunbed is a nice touch although it definitely needs updating.

Negative experience: This place is honestly a dive, they don't even had pads for the barbells and lacking standard equipment, brags "free tanning" but the sun bed is from the 80s and has about 3/30 bulbs working

Negative experience: Unprofessional I telephoned regarding concerns about a direct debit Gym and I will now take this through to the finnacial Ombudsman as I feel they are misleading people and they are acting suspiciously irregular with regards to cancellation and direct debits

Negative experience: Said they spent X amount of MILLIONS refurbing the place! Same flooring, changing rooms, saunas/steam room, showers and a lot of the equipment from the Park Club. All they’ve done is slap on some grey paint. Lied about new equipment, delayed opening up date, took a £20 deposit and ignored my messages and calls.

Fantastic experience: Been member from day one, staff friendly and really knowledgeable , good kit ideal for me and my family, also nice to have a sauna and steam after workout

Fantastic experience: Great gym! I’m an amputee and I feel 100% comfortable to come to the gym in shorts and use the steam room and sauna with out my prosthetic on. Staff are always friendly and always happy to help

Negative experience: Staff are not friendly at all. I didn’t sign up there went else where.

Negative experience: This gym will trick you into a 12 month contract. We had our free trial and on the final day of said trial we went into the gym and they tricked us to try for another month. At the end of this we tried cancelling again but they told us we had entered a 12 month contract with them. My friend who is pregnant was also not allowed to cancel their membership.

Negative experience: It’s like a scam they’re working on about contracts.

Negative experience: Awful customer service Since moving centres they promised a complete refund as they weren’t ready to open when they said they would. Year later I’m still waiting for a £25 refund! Awful customer service- hope you don’t have to contact them

Fantastic experience: This gym was closed for over a year and at times it is still shown as such on its site. It is 100% open, though it is not 24/7. Great facilities, very friendly staff. Clean toilets and showers. My only complaint is the music. It's all Rap. I don't mind Rap but I don't find that easy to train too. Something with a fast beat, techno, dance would in my opinion be better. Maybe I'm wrong, but Rap has no place in a gym setting in my humble opinion.

Negative experience: The 14 day money back guarantee does not exist , they are advertising a scam , I am involving trading standards to investigate, anyone that has not been refunded I suggest you do the same , let’s get something done about this

Fantastic experience: As a newbie to the gym, the anytime Fitness team couldn't of been more helpful with gym anxiety! They're really helpful and encouraging and don't make you feel silly for not knowing how a machine works. The team are so supportive and without them tbh I would of been to scared to start using weights etc., so thanks to them I'm actually starting to lose weight and look semi good! Really good gym and lovely team! Plus a free personal training session every month!! Can't recommend enough!

Fantastic experience: Any time fitness is a nice clean gym, cleaning is done daily and it shows! The staff are friendly and approachable and all train in the gym which is motivating! There is a machine so you can do a virtual class even when there is no staff on which is a bonus. I love that there are so many benefits with the purple fobs ie: FREE PT Session every month, bring a friend free Friday. 20% off nandos!!! you can also earn monkey off your membership by getting your friends to sign up!!!

Negative experience: Too small. Always seems to be busy. Parking was a nightmare and my key fob for entry only worked when it wanted too

Fantastic experience: Anytime fitness is the best gym in ashford because it has Aaron (dot) and I guess Anita. Its not crowded so you can always get on the equipment you want and it’s basically got all the equipment you could need or want. I highly recommend it if you want to spend a week crying every time you walk up some stairs because you had a leg day session with A. The music choices aren’t always the most sound but you have a good time anyway

Fantastic experience: Love this gym so much Anytime Fitness. It's so clean when you go in there, plenty of equipment to use, its open 24 hours which is a bonus if you cant get there during the day time. The staff are so friendly, lovely, helpful and always willing to help. Its reasonable priced. They have lots of different classes on during the day. Got shower cubicles that it's only you can use which is awesome. Close to town. Easy to get to.
