Here at the King's Club we value both family time and adult only tranquil sessions. Our adults can enjoy quiet "ADULT ONLY" swim times weekdays from 8pm - 9pm and weekends from 9am- 10am & 6pm - 7pm.
The King’s Club: Opinions
Positive experience: Fabulous place to exercise and chill. The swimming pool is by far the best I've used in London.
Fantastic experience: They have the world's best facilities
Fantastic experience: Amazing facilities
Fantastic experience: Very clean and well equipped.
Positive experience: Good service
Negative experience: Joined the gym and was impressed with place. The gym equipment and range of weights is good. However, there's a really rude and unpleasant chap called Julian who heads up the facility - I would rather not go into detail, but he's not very pleasant to say the least. Surprised the school has an affiliation with someone of his nature.
Fantastic experience: Very nice and friendly staff, good place if you looking for nice gym
Negative experience: This club is worst in my life. Everything what could be bad is bad. I will start with the fact that after I provided all the necessary to pay, paper was lost. Then they found it. When we booked a time to play tennis, they had problems with the light, and I did not get through as they allegedly wrote down my number wrong. (Which I wrote down after checking it a few times myself). Schedule, to put it mildly, peculiar, but I knew about it before the contract. Terrible showers: there are only two, and it's not even a shower, but something that rolls water from the ceiling: you can neither adjust the temperature of the water. The audience is a separate story. Rude women. The staff are slackers and rude, the last time they threw me out with wet hair. Cancellation policy - in a month. (Which is not surprising, because there are a lot of those who want to cancel) Have pity on your time and money.
Fantastic experience: Great place, great equipment, friendly staff (although not always great when on the phone with them) but overall amazing gym experience.
Negative experience: Good equipment & nice surroundings but sadly that's where the good stuff stops! The club is managed by a chap called Julian aka 'Commercial Director' who is somewhat obnoxious & severely lacking in the empathy department. My wife was very unwell and on advice from her doctor she was told to stop exercising. Upon requesting to pause her membership for a few months she was told this was not possible. It's a shame as she always enjoyed using the gym, but we were collectively put off ever going due to the way in which Julian spoke to us both on the telephone. The only thing Julian is a director of is unpleasantness.
Positive experience:
Fantastic experience: Great pool, friendly staff. All set up for social distancing. Nice to be swimming again.
Fantastic experience: Los mejores personal training: sin duda!
Fantastic experience: It’s absolutely amazing and no one seems to know, keep it to yourself!
Fantastic experience: Good facilities cheap membership for students
Positive experience: This club is basically the gym at the Kings School - opened after hours for everyone else to use. As Kings is a pretty swanky school the gym is obviously pretty well equipped, squash courts, table tennis, big sports hall etc. You don't have to be a member but it is cheaper if you are I think, although i'm not sure by how much. If you want to make use of one of the multi-use spaces be sure to check that what you want to do (i.e. badminton / table tennis etc.) is available that day and there isn't some gym class or something going on instead. Parking outside can be a bit of a nightmare.
