Fantastic experience: Fab craft fayre held there today!

Fantastic experience: Visited to watch an amateur production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and had a wonderful time. Nice clean venue with very helpful staff. Parking on road nearby isn't easy but there is a car park next to the location but you have to pay.

Positive experience: My wife swam here 9 times while on holiday , she would recommend

Fantastic experience: Good facilities, excellent, helpful staff.only negative is it is a little pricey for a council run facility-- but nevertheless staff and facilities are as already stated Excellent.

Fantastic experience: One of the many hearts of leisure and tourism in Rhayader, run by freedom leisure, supported by powys county council, the leisure centre offers many facilities, as well as swimming there are squash courts, gym, changing facilities, open upper area to watch swimming, wait, have a drink or snack, a large hall for many activities and a lower room that is used for many more activities, it's an amazing building with a great management team.

Fantastic experience: I don't like gyms, I react to them same way vampires react to sunlight but Julie was brilliant and sold it to me really well and offered to show me around - even though there must have only been a couple of staff members at most and she clearly had a thousand jobs going on. Bravo Julie, always friendly and helpful, and bravo Rhayader LC, will stay a member! ✌️

Positive experience: Rhayader leisure centre is a great local centre. It's kept very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. It has an excellently equipped gym, the only draw back is that it's a touch on the expensive side.

Negative experience: Swimming lessons and staff are brilliant, but we booked and paid for a mermaid session, drove for 40 minutes only to be told on arrival that the staff member taking the class had gone for a day out to the show, staff were very apologetic, but my 8 year old was devastated, they had my phone number, a heads up would have been nice, very disappointing and unprofessional behaviour from the manager who was supposed to be taking the session.

Negative experience: Very basic pool, hasn't changed in 20 years. My son sliced his toe open there today on the sharp tiles underneath the water. The grout in between the tiles needs addressing as now the tiles are sharp and exposed. The on-call medic Julie was nice. I spoke to a guy in the changing rooms, whom also cut his hand in the pool. This is not acceptable when children use the facilities, you really need to look in to this as it's not safe...Thanks

Positive experience: With this place situated right by a massive car park and public toilets we hoped that it would have a cafe of some sort open to public much to ar disappointment when we found only 2 vending machines with a limited variety of drinks & snacks. So we had to walk to other end of village to find somewhere more convenient.
