Fantastic experience: Enjoying the lane swimming on a Monday evening. Conquering the pool, one lap at a time. A Monday night well spent: warm water, happy swimmers, and working facilities.

Positive experience: We're very lucky to have a public pool in Malmesbury, especially with ample and free parking. The baby swimming lessons are great and the staff are lovely and helpful. I love the timber arched construction - a nice change from the usual leisure centre infrastructure. The only downside is the changing and shower area which is dirty, often smells of urine and could do with a comprehensive overhaul. It really lets the whole place down.

Positive experience: Great place for swimming lessons and other kids activities like gymnastics. Vending machine available for food and drink. Changing rooms in the pool side are a bit dirty and run down and the viewing area to watch kids lessons is cramped.

Positive experience: We take our 11mo baby for the family swim on the weekend. They have a nice selection of toys for the kids but the water could do with being warmer.

Positive experience: Friendly, helpful, efficient staff who know their stuff. Swim (swimtag available) and take classes (Les Mills body balance and Pilates) here often so membership is really good value for money for me. Can be tricky to get onto popular classes even with a membership hence 4 stars not 5.

Fantastic experience: Loved it. Amazing gym including Rowing, punching bag, treadmill and many others. I haven't been to the pool, as I am typically hate swimming.

Positive experience: Friendly staff. Played Badminton and the net was already setup. Only minor annoyance were the wiggly worms on one side of the court, which had obviously made their way in from outside, after a wet night :) Plenty of FREE parking spots. Something odd. I booked 1 court for Badminton online, where it said there were 4 courts available. No idea where the other 3 nets would have been placed, as there were a couple of bouncy castles occupying the other half of the sport hall. We will come back, even if from Chippenham.

Fantastic experience: The staff are all so friendly. It's great during normal times but it's so impressive how they have kept things going with the covid restrictions in place. Wide range of activities offered and plenty of times to choose from.

Fantastic experience: Staff are very friendly and nice. The gym equipment is great. The pool is a bit cold haha but otherwise good. It is adjustable for the height as well. There are classes which u can go to throughout the day and are thoroughly enjoyable. Would defo recommend spinning class

Negative experience: Did an RPM (spinning) class with friends. For some reason, done in the dark?

Positive experience: It was good. The only problem is that it is usually packed all of the time. The swimming disco's are great to go to my and BFF since year 2 (we are now in year 6) go there most of the time is we have time.

Positive experience: Pretty amateur facilities, takes months to fix anything broken. Seems after the council took over everything has slowed down. Only one or two staff seem to enjoy working there.

Positive experience: 7 hours after my swim and still waiting for the swimtag to be docked - regularly super slow finding out swim times. The AZ is a nice place with good facilities and friendly staff but let's sort out the swimtags!

Negative experience: I fundamentally disagree with the fact that places leisure make it very easy to take a membership out and make it harder to cancel one. Having spoken to the General Manager, I get the vibe that they're an organisation that is very much profit oriented and not so bothered with their customers. I think staff should be better trained to make people aware of the cancellation policies. They very much look out for their own self interests!

Positive experience: Excellent pool during family swim times, however, the changing rooms let it down. Very few rooms available with baby changing facilities, and even less with chairs thar you can strap little ones into. Makes it very difficult to take young ones there.

Negative experience: Not sure on their pricing. 45mins is same price as 1hr for a badminton court. Plus you lose first 10 mins waiting to get net setup, so really 1hr price is same as 35mins.

Negative experience: I am very disappointed with the services at the activity zone. I rang countless amount of times to enquire about a life guard course they were holding there and was told they'd get back to me, I rang up a further two times as i hadnt heard back within 2 weeks to get the same answer, a week later and I still haven't heard back from them, very disappointed.

Positive experience: Took my 3 year old daughter to the pool here. It's a bit on the cool side in the water but the fact that they can raise the pool floor to 30-50cm in depth makes paddling about a blast for her. To get that extra star, they'd need to make it a lot warmer in there.
