Negative experience: Card machine permanently out of order, have fined my wife today for being late paying today for my daughters swimming lessons. Cash machine in village was out of order Management take note do not punish your customers for your incompetence sorting your card machine out. On a positive note their swimming instructors have helped my daughter progress into a competent swimmer over the years and very welcoming.

Fantastic experience: We are lucky to have such an amazing leisure centre in the village! New manager Chris makes it all so much more welcoming for us and the kids! Really is a lovely community place to go... Hats off to you all brilliant job!

Fantastic experience: Just lately it’s become a great place to train and take the kids swimming, the new manager is a top lad, all staff very friendly, and welcoming, loving the new paint job aswell starting to get up the the times, smells clean and fresh makes you feel happy, big up to Shan aswell puts on brilliant kids party’s and she’s great with the kids, not much else to say really bye

Fantastic experience: Absolute lovely staff all very friendly and helpful, I was uncomfortable going to the gym but going here my confidence grew. Unfortunately due to personal reason I can no longer attend but the staff were extremely helpful and got me out of a sticky situation, I'm so grateful. I recommend this place for the gym and swimming, clean and more than enough equipment to do your workout, thanks Hopefully be back in the future

Negative experience: Unable to make any online bookings. Unable to take card payments. This isn’t acceptable whilst still taking members fees. Either refund the fees or fix the problem.

Negative experience: Would steer clear of this place. Used facilities a fair bit over the years due to convenience, but after last visit I won’t be using again. Turned up at 6:30am to swim, only to be told their card machine wasn’t working. I didn’t have cash on me so they actually wouldn’t allow me to swim. Unbelievable. You’d think that as it’s THEIR cash machine that is non operational they’d allow you to swim regardless or they’d allow you to pay on your next visit…….but no, they actually refused me unless I drove and got cash. I couldn’t believe it. Took my business elsewhere in the end. Also, the manager (Phil) is a wannabe gangster known for numerous indiscretions with the law. And the way this place behaved throughout COVID was ludicrous, they were like the stasi mark 2. Also, pool is over chlorinated, always have sinus issues for days after swimming here which I never have anywhere else. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

Fantastic experience: The dynamic young staff here are a credit to themselves and the organisation. They do their jobs well and are efficient, courteous and friendly.

Fantastic experience: I have a swim membership at EL LC. The pool facilities are good and suit my needs. The lane swim times are spot on. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

This place has become part of my daily routine that I look forward too, especially with its welcoming atmosphere and friendly community. Primarily I use the pool, but I've also been a gym member in the past. What sets this leisure centre apart is its inclusivity—no matter your ability, fitness level, or confidence, everyone is welcomed with open arms. Starting out, I never felt intimidated, and fellow members were always friendly and courteous. The staff here are exceptional. They're not just knowledgeable and flexible, but the little things like how quickly they remember you and genuinely engage with you is what I really value. This personal touch has made my fitness journey not only effective but enjoyable. In just 12 months, my fitness has seen a dramatic improvement, and I find myself in the pool most days, making it incredibly cost-effective. I can't recommend this leisure centre enough to anyone seeking a supportive and inclusive environment. Having a facility like this in my village is phenomenal, and I genuinely enjoy every visit. Fantastic experience: I've been going regularly the East Leake Leisure Centre (for the gym) for over half a year now and would recommend it to anyone in the area. The staff are super helpful and welcoming and very quickly get to know you! I am welcomed very warmly when I arrive by the member of staff at the front desk - often by Ollie. The gym itself is very well equipped - especially considering the size. It has more than enough equipment to have a really good session no matter what your fitness goals may be.

Negative experience: I came for a swim today . I was politely told that if a faster swimmer entered the lane I would need to move to a slower lane . I was then told by the surly manager Phil I had been told that I needed to move . No one had entered the lane . I enquired where the notices were explaining their lane policy . These are behind the desk as part of the life guard’s instructions . This is not helpful . The lifeguard at the desk explained the measures are part of the safety procedures which is correct . However I still do not see how I was infringing the rules , as I was swimming at the same speed as the other swimmer . The manager Phil needs to be less aggressive when talking to customers and adhere to a less confrontational tone .

Fantastic experience: We found this place after our closest leisure centre became more and more crowded and difficult to book. The East Leake Leisure Centre always has accessible parking, clean and available facilities, friendly staff, and regularly answer their phone calls! Most importantly, they always seem to have available family and general swim sessions. We are grateful to have this place.

Positive experience: Simply put it is a leisure centre attached to a school. Price is reasonable for both gym and pool. The gym is actually quite well kitted out. The pool though is very restrictive on timings if you work long and sometimes unpredictable hours, as there are clubs and classes that have exclusive pool use. It makes it a bit hard to go in for a few lengths.

Positive experience: East Leake leisure centre has undergone a recent renovation especially in the gym area, which has excellent cardio equipment such as the latest treadmills and a state of the art steps machine. The gym also has very modern free weight and weight machine equipment. It is worth a visit, if you are wanting to join a gym to lose weight as part of a healthy lifestyle programme.

Fantastic experience: My 5 stars is purely for the Sunday morning family swim from 10am. It's perfect for kids, toddlers can pay with toy boats, floats and bits in the shallow pool and older kids can play with the big floats in the main pool. Changing rooms are small but showers are hot and it's pretty clean. Be aware you need old pounds or trolley tokens for the lockers!!

Positive experience: I don't go the gym but I go swimming here and the changing rooms are always clean and well kept although I think the lockers need TLC (you also need an old pound or trolley token for them). Only other hitch is the pool is very very warm.... this is probably nice for kids playing around but when you're doing lengths it can quickly get very hot! Staff are always extremely friendly though even at 6.30am :)

Positive experience: Nice leisure centre at which I play badminton every week after work. The floor has recently been resurfaced and is now nice to play on now it has bedded in. The main sports hall can become very hot as there is not much ventilation and the lights are not diffused which is sometimes a problem when playing badminton. The facilities are shared with a school which means some of the changing areas can be a bit dirty. The one associated with the gym specifically are always clean thouogh.

Negative experience: Very very unfriendly and rude members of staff. Had to tell one to stop swearing in front of my two year old on two separate occasions. You’d think someone over 50 would know better.

Positive experience: We visit the Leisure Centre once a week in order to attend an organised health and fitness class. The facilities there are as one would expect. Although we have not used it, the pool does look inviting and I understand that swimming lessons are available. There is no cafe on the premises, but vending machines are provided. Parking is adequate and in our experience unlikely to be a problem. We have always found the permanent staff there to be courteous and helpful. I'm not sure what else can be usefully said about a small leisure centre. I hope this information is helpful. John.

Positive experience: 2 pools, excellent state of the art gym equipment and 2 large halls for indoor sports. Also has fitness classrooms and shower facilities.

Positive experience: It's good to have in East Leake village, but its lacking squash courts and the tennis courts aren't well maintained. It's also hard to book in for table tennis as all the good rooms are taken over by classes.
