Positive experience: Nice staff, very active classes. Would probably return for some sort of beginners course instead of being dragged by my parents and forced to taste my own lungs. On the bright side I don't smoke so they tasted alright.

Positive experience: The gym is nice, missing some equipment from existing weights, likely stolen or broken. The tennis court isn't that flat but still usable, the squash court is good! This would be a 4 star but the mens room smells like someone or something died in the ceiling and it's been like that for a couple of weeks. Also the BMI machine has been broken for some time and has a sticker saying its getting repaired, but the sticker is soo old it needs a repair too.

Fantastic experience: i’ve started using the gym here and i’m honestly so happy with it. the layout of the gym is neat, bright, spacious, and a good variety of machines / areas to use. there is always someone on hand in the gym if you have any queries regarding workouts or how to use machines, which really contrasts with most other gyms i’ve used. i pay per session at the gym compared to the membership as i’m not always in this area, but even the session price is brilliant for students. overall, highly recommend this local centre

Negative experience: Does NOT have a swimming pool. Ignore the review that says it does. That review is based on a member of Brandon being allowed to use the swimming pool of another leisure centre in the AC chain. Happy to remove this review once the other review is removed and once Google no longer lists Brandon under "swimming pools". The AC Leisure website and booking system is the worst thought through website I've used. E.g. it says swimming is open all day ... But then says the only slot (either full or empty - i.e. any slot) is 2.30-3.15pm. Both things cannot be true

Fantastic experience: They have sword fighting classes!!!

Fantastic experience: Only go to well being suite for excersise, clean and tidy, cafe to eat in or out, outside is playing fields.

Negative experience: Friendly staff but no one seems to know any after school activities for children. I've emailed leisure centre in October and still haven't received the reply. I've called the number, no answer. I have left messages ,still no reply. I've never dealt with such poor service...

Fantastic experience: Haven't been for years, popped in to see the health visiting team to weigh my baby, the whole place is revamped and so clean and fresh, facilities are great, loads of room too. Will definitely be trying the gym soon!

Negative experience: Gym staff at reception obviously bored. Desks are not to sit on. And one should chew gum without smacking.

Negative experience: The staff on site are nice people but it is impossible to get an answer when calling and the staff handling the central email account take a week or more to reply - if your query requires more than one email back and forth you might get it resolved in a month's time. If you don't use the app (which is limited in options anyway) you'll struggle to book, cancel or move your classes, and then be invoiced if you miss one despite trying to inform them. Abbeycroft need to have more staff on site and in their central office.

Positive experience: Having not been to sports centre for some years it was slightly sad to see that having been modernised its now quite sterile and soulless, all very modern and done well but lacking the warmth it once had.

Fantastic experience: I go there for meetings, but going by the friendliness of the staff I have met, I would definately go there if I needed the fitness side.

Positive experience: Very busy Centre lots of evening activities I visit once a week but not as a Gym Member the evening Snack Bar is now closed (which I miss) but there are vending machines with snacks and drinks A new billiard table is now in place Tennis Courts outside refurbished Well worth a visit.
