Positive experience: Lots of taps not working properly. Clean enough but needs improvement. No bench for parents near reception ( broken not replaced)

Fantastic experience: Amazing center and very good training

Negative experience: Gym opening hours are useless. May as well not have a gym if you can't use it.

Positive experience: Played indoor bowls there. Great game and easy to play

Negative experience: Very discriminatory against people learning to swim in deeper depths, even with plenty of staff around the pool was told to leave. no refund given, avoid at all costs

Negative experience: Worst experience I’ve ever had at a “facilities” place!!! I called up and asked about the swimming and how it’s done and was advised that there was many lanes, deep and shallow to be able to go in, I was advised that you could use the shallow area if you’re not the best swimmer. I come and buy a single session for £5.70, I was NOT given a receipt (this comes into play soon) I then get changed and pay £1 for locker to use (you get the £1 back after) and then when I walk to the pool area, I’m hit with absolutely shock!! The pools are Olympic sized and the shallow pool for learning and getting better at swimming is only available for booked swimming sessions which I was advised were available to the public to just go in. I then attempt to swim in the deep pool that was apparently the slow lane and oh my days, there was loads of people zooming and putting pressure on me to swim super fast. I did a lap or two and then I started to run out of breath as I couldn’t keep up with the pace and I couldn’t keep swimming due to it and started to feel myself sink a little so I grabbed onto the side and kept trying to swim to the end whilst grabbing the side and a guy shouted at me to come to the end and get out, in all honesty the guy was quite compassionate and did say that I wasn’t ready for those lanes and that he’ll get me refund and I was quite embarrassed but anyways I was like it is what it is and got changed and went to reception for a refund. This is where it got super stressful, the woman who took my payment says that she can’t refund me without a receipt, I said well you didn’t give me one and then she says it’s policy and I said the whole point of a receipt is to confirm a purchase was made which she knows I did. They went through the bin for their receipts and couldn’t find it, she was absolutely unhelpful and denied not printing the receipt but it was absolutely clear that she never printed it off and made the poor guy go through the bin to get it even though it wasn’t in there. I did have a go at them which I regret as there was no need to be rude as I was upset and embarrassed but the guy gave me cash refund and was nice about it. If he reads this I’m sorry for being rude. To the woman in reception, just grow up and own up to your mistakes, i would have been more understanding if you had just said in all honesty we didn’t print it out at all or have it anymore then lie and waste all of our times. The pool was amazing in size and there was loads of space but I wish that the experience had been better

Fantastic experience: Perfect pool for swim training. Nice, friendly personal.

Negative experience: The floor in the swimming pool and changing room area seriously needs a good clean; it is disgusting to walk on and it all needs updating as it’s out of date now. This is meant to be a 50m pool but for some reason it never is available for general public lane swimming and it’s always reduced to 25m. Timetable also needs to be expanded with more swimming times added.

Fantastic experience: Olimpic size pool, nice diving area, decent spectacors area, but, not very clean showers rooms, changing area. Parking space are one big mistake. Almost always full, and parking rules are double standards

Positive experience: When there's not yobs on motorbikes racing around and travellers parked in the bottom car park it's not bad for 5 a side football.

Negative experience: I joined this sports centre in late March 23. On my first day at the gym I wasn't impressed, very small gym and kids running around the gym. I then walked over to use the swimming pool. I can't do that either, it's a restricted timetable which didn't suit my work timetable... so I cancelled the very next day. I phoned in and a nice lady on the phone told me that I cancelled within the 'cool down period' and I don't have any additional charges. They have be taking £25.96 out of my bank under 'Leeds City Coucil' for almost a year. When I phone up Leeds City Council so ask about this payment they said 'did you join a gym?' And it immediately click. The lady I spoke to is so incompetent that she has cost me 11 payments of £25.96. BUT THEY DONT HAVE ANY RECOLLECTION OF MY CANCELLATION THEREFORE THEY CANNOT GIVE ME ANYTHING BACK. I cancelled my direct debit. Do not join this gym, its discouraging, awful service, awful facility and the people in charge of running it are just hopeless. There is better options close by.

Fantastic experience: It was a great day out

Positive experience: Was good apart from one area occupied by travelers which is a pity but there been respectable and no hassle

Negative experience: Great swimming and diving facilities but I would advise to bring your own food I had a bacon and sausage sandwich and I'm not exaggerating when I say the sausage was the worst I've ever had it tasted and smelled like nothing I've ever eaten before it smelled like a wet dog 0 out 10 and the coffee not much better I will update tommorrow if I get food poisening

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place and service

Negative experience: Play 5 a side here on a Monday night and there is never anywhere to park. Tonight I got a parking ticket and I wasn't even on double yellow lines, or blocking any other car or lanes. Do they want to encourage or discourage people from getting active?!?! The facilities don't get much better, on the 5 a side pitches the nettings aren't attached to the goals properly.

Fantastic experience: Nice sports centre

Negative experience: Don’t often leave reviews but on three separate occasions I’ve rang in advance to check the availability of the track and I’ve been given incorrect information. I don’t live close so this is very annoying.

Fantastic experience: A lovely greeting from the member of staff when I arrived. Staff super. Building showing signs of needing repairs and ongoing maintenance. It is a really nice pool.

Positive experience: Amazing! I saw the stadium before from a distance and saw some teenages playing football there but today I have been there and been watching my child playing football on the halfpitch with friends. Great time, nice sunshine.

Negative experience: Pretty much of a shocker to be fair on our daughters 1st ever gala,get the place only to find out its cash only so we had to leave the premises to come back,then when we go upstairs to pay find out there's no seats available for me or the missus who are disabledfirst ever gala,only makes me want to pull her from swimming altogether,disgusting

Positive experience: Scuba dive night with Leeds BSAC 115..

Fantastic experience: My children love this place for their swimming, the teachers go above and beyond with my children and always take the time out for them and patient with them. Spotless leisure centre also. Customer service really good. Don’t have no faults with this place.

Positive experience: A massive complex that has plenty of car parking spaces. I attended a Weightlifting competition there. The staff were friendly and served me a decent coffee. The one negative was that the toilets were dirty at 0930.

Fantastic experience: Decent Leeds city council gym and swimming pool center

Positive experience: Went here for swimming since I was a little kid and did diving afterwards for a while (once I finished swimming). The staff are polite and the facilities are decent as well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because when I rejoined my diving lessons after covid, all my data was wiped out for some reason so I had to start from the first level. Otherwise, great place.

Fantastic experience: OK

Positive experience: Handy but afew points to improve: 1) the new gym needs spin bikes like they used to have. The standard bikes are rubbish and so are the new bikes in the side room as you cannot stand up on them as the pedals don't go smoothly and there's limited levels to be able to reach high RPM just bring back the spin bikes there used to be afew of. 2) the gym could do with some weight machines that cater for women not just intimidating barely used body building racks that look like they're primarily designed for men. 3) the swimming pool sessions advertised as 50m are only 25m, will the 50m lane sessions ever return? 4) when is the running track available to use i am not sure of this or when the "new gym" circuit classes are on as they're not on the standard class timetable.

Fantastic experience: Very good place for sport. Swimming pool is very good for kids and adults. Staff very polite and professional.

Positive experience: As West Yorkshire's only 50m pool I wish they would make 50m swimming sessions more frequent. There seems to be a lot of duplication here of activities already offered by other local 25m pools, at the expense of 50m activities (lane swimming).

Negative experience: People at the reception are giving false information of the availability of the facilities. I called on Friday to ask about if the athletic track was free on the weekend and was told that it was. I just went there and it turns out that it's booked for the whole day for an event. On another occasion they forgot I was training on the track and locked me down, so I had to jump through the fence to leave. Basically, the guys working there can't be bothered to do the jobs they get paid for.

Fantastic experience: Took a class there on a sports event was a very good day we’ll organised and spotted lots of facilities!

Positive experience: A great venue for football and rugby. Great facilities inside and swimming nearby.

Negative experience: Got there at 1130 told lady at desk first time here she didn't even mention pool not open until 12 so got changed stood there cold for nothing for life guard to say we have half hour wait so got dressed again, finally got to pool for it to be just laps worse day of my life never going there again a waste of my money

Negative experience: Its ridiculously hot in this building (spectators area) it gets very very uncomfortable on event days! The cafe is naff too! Bare minimum to offer food wise & its always over cooked!

Positive experience: Excellent centre and certainly one of the best in Yorkshire. Used as it should from dawn to dusk with excellent facilities

Negative experience: Have spent a hour trying to book an indoor tennis court for a session of social tennis. There are an assorted collection of webpages which direct you back to the one you came from. If you do manage to escape from the nightmare loop of frustration and find the correct booking page all you can book is a court not an individual place at a social tennis session. The tennis courts are great but the whole enterprise is held back by the heavy hand of public ownership.

Fantastic experience: I went there on Friday 27 September 2013 when I was on holiday in Leeds and came swimming here because it was 50m lane swimming. It's not as good as Ponds Forge in Sheffield and I was at the pool at the same time when the diver Rebecca Gallantree was training. Went for diving here in 2017 again on 26/9/2017

Positive experience: The centre is quite good but the football astro turfs at the back are dreadful, they look like they've been bombed

Fantastic experience: Kids have swimming lessons after school and they enjoy it. The staff are all nice to get on with.

Positive experience: By far the best pool in the area for the serious swimmer. I really must comment on the outstanding way they have implemented social distancing since they reopened. I have only been once where there was more than 2 people per lane since the new measures were implemented. They only lose a star as the showers are tepid at best and mostly frigid.

Fantastic experience: Very clean. Quite impressed by all the rules put in place to be covid safe.

Fantastic experience: Jccs tennis centre. Great coaches. Perfect waiting area. Plenty of tennis classes. Great opportunity for kids beginners. Nice and warm inside. A lot of classes for adults. I love this tennis club. Recommend it strongly. Great car parking area.

Negative experience: Rude, racist staff, all my friends don't go to activities there because of how some staff treat them and make them feel unwelcome. So unprofessional. This is literally getting out of order.

Positive experience: Excellent sports centre. Used to have a bus straight to it but no more so the only downside is having to drive here.

Positive experience: Nice pool, good cleanliness.
