Fantastic experience: Had a problem with a booking for Leisure Pool. A representative named Olivia dealt with problem in such a courteous and professional manner. Transfer to new date was accomplished with ease.

Fantastic experience: Daughter had a birthday party here today and can’t recommend them enough - most of the party ran into traffic issues on route, Staff were fantastic in accommodating our lateness. Staff worked tirelessly, food was fantastic and the children had a fantastic time. Ravi couldn’t have done more for us if he tried - Thanks again to all involved - highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Great place to exercise. You have the pool and gym. Granted the pool may be hosting swimming meets and therefore not be available but check the app or call ahead to avoid disappointment! The gym doesn’t get overly busy even at peak. The spacious spa is the gold star here! The receptionist Kat is always smily and welcoming every time I visit. A real credit to the team!

Negative experience: One Star for the horrendous violation & verbal assault I experienced on my very own birthday evening I am appalled by the lack of etiquette, front of house mannerisms & standard demonstrated by this young woman it is a clear reflection on herself and the leisure centre as a WHOLE for her to have the audacity and confidence to verbally assault me. After a lovely birthday treat using the health suit facilities on my way out I saw reception staff stocking large muffins and decided it would be a lovely treat to purchase one. I approached this young girl & light heartedly explained "It's my birthday today, I'm.." From this point onwards I was interrupted and asked to hurry up and to stop wasting her time and that I should shut up and leave her alone. My initial response was one of shock and dismay I was left stunned and I decided to initially turn around and walk away in disbelief however I turned right back round proceeding to explain to her that she had presented with rudeness. I then asked to speak to the duty managers at this point the girl in question had left the front desk & went looking for the managers whom she eventually found and they went round the corner away from my sight I, at this point was stuck at the barriers and refused entry into the facilities however a chap on his way out had eventually let me through. I ment the managers & the girl on the staircase leading to the facilities out in the open disclosing her narrative. Incredibly shocked and horrified I disclosed to her how abhorrently rude and vitriolic she was to have uttered such verbal abuse especially on someone birthday I felt violated, undignified and disrespected. I requested she apologised politely, where she eventually came round using a gaslit attempted apology "I'm sorry if you felt I was being rude..." At which point I politely declined her attempted immature gaslit half hearted approach to apologising & left. I got in touch with the managers Alan and Rhys and explained Alan was incredibly empathetic which I'm grateful for Rhys also. However I was told the investigation process could not be transparently disclosed & would remain internal & private. Since the incident on the 8th of October I have only attempted to go once & upon arriving I saw the staff member in question ⁉️ actively present and working front of house. Nothing has been done and I am incredibly disappointed. It's not about the amount paid monthly it's REALLY about TREATING PEOPLE WITH RESPECT AND DIGNITY...as an adult one should demonstrate maturity, take accountability and responsibility with how you present as an adult and apologies for any wrongdoings, it's as simple as that there's not much to life & it's a shame one bad rotten apple spoils the overall experience. Whilst a full apology from the manager has been made, a full direct apology from the staff member is politely requested PLEASE! however using the facilities without an apology from the staff member is a VIOLATION and a kick in the teeth please kindly train staff better to approach members with politeness, etiquette & care! Update Mon 28th October So this particular member of staff still works at the facilities, she has previously been complained about by numerous people in the past but management have clearly been dragging their heels with this particular staff member. It's safe to say it's a free for all & clearly there are no repercussions or consequences here. In case your wondering she's the one with the goth winged eyeliner Sophie...I hope this review has helped shed light on how things are delt with here a formal apology by the member of staff has yet to be made. All efforts to contact me by management throughout the time the complaint was raised was no existent & I often called in to speak to management. The managers failed to manage & resolve the matter with a face to face apology looks like Sophie is managing you both joined a better gym and feeling more valued and dignified. Don't waste your time here go where you'll be treated with dignity and respect, AT LEAST get the basics right!

Negative experience: Always people parking in front of disabled bays. Especially the inconsiderate hockey players. Nothing ever done about it

Negative experience: i was joined couple of months ago with baby swiming lesson with my one year old baby,everyday they saying we moving to other pool,but its didnt happend .lessons with cold water .and if we had lesson on tommrrow i got the phone call in today your lesson is cancled and if you want quit .they taking advance for nothing‍♂️‍♂️‍♂️‍♂️

Fantastic experience: Well located swimming pool and sports facilities in Cardiff. The pool is 50m long, although today it was divided as two 25m pool. It is available to the public for swimming, and also for training purposes. Plenty of natural light due to the glass around the building. There are also gym classes, including Les Mills classes like Body Combat, Body Pump, Body Balance, Shapes, Yoga, and the local functional training. You can buy swimming apparel if you need. The staff are very friendly.

Fantastic experience: Joined the gym at the beginning of this month and had two induction sessions with Sonia. She was very helpful and patient throughout. Also very approachable and took the time to come up with a plan that was tailored to my needs. Highly recommend this gym as the staff are lovely and the facilities were clean and tidy.

Positive experience: The facility is excellent for what one would expect. I find the booking system to be somewhat repetitive, and from my previous visits, it might be less administrative work for the staff if there were a way to amend an appointment in case of an error in selecting the date.

Fantastic experience: An amazing swimming and gym facility. Definitely international in standards. There are so many lockers, changing rooms enough to host a big event. The reception team are really supportive and help whenever needed. The pool has 2 sides one where starters swim and the international pool area where more advanced courses take place.

Positive experience: Last day of the school hols we finally made it to this pool! Overall a good day but not amazing. Good - it's fairly reasonably priced, about £30 for 1 adult and 3 kids, friendly staff, free carparking. Slides and pools all brilliant. Plenty of changing cubicles and toilets. Despite previous reviews we had no issues with cleanliness whatsoever. Bad - 1 hour just isn't enough when it's so busy. Slide queues ranged from 12-16 minutes during our visit. That only leaves enough time for one go on each slide, plus a few minutes in the pool, before your time is up. The faulty lockers (I had to move my items three times before finally being able to lock one) meant I lost 10 mins at the start too. I managed 2 slides plus 10 mins in the lazy river. Whilst the price is reasonable, we had a 1.5 hour drive each way which really wasn't worth it given the ride queues. An hour is enough in our local pool where you never queue more than 5 minutes for a slide, but not enough here. In hindsight I wish I'd bought two hour slots consecutively and would recommend anyone going for a day out to do this. Whilst this would make it dearer, if you're travelling any distance to get here it's worth having longer.

Fantastic experience: What a great 55 minutes of fun. 4 slides, lazy river with a bubble area. What amazed me most was the staff, they were incredible. Very helpful as it was our first visit. I would recommend visit. Unfortunately photos can’t be taken.

Positive experience: We visited for the first time today for the leisure pool and slides with 2 children age 10 and 12, the changing area is clean and the showers are hot. The slides were great and not too busy even in the school summer holidays. The photographers took some great photos for us too. The biggest let down for us was that the session is only 1 hour...nowhere near long enough for the price you pay.

Negative experience: My visit here was beyond disappointing, and I am genuinely concerned about how this place is still in operation under such horrendous conditions. Despite a massive sign by the changing rooms explicitly stating to remove shoes, no one seemed to care, and not a single staff member enforced this rule. The floor was absolutely disgusting – filthy, wet, and covered in grime The neglect doesn't stop there. Every surface seemed to be coated in dust, and I was shocked to see window sills littered with used hair bobbles, just left there as if cleanliness was an afterthought. To make matters worse, the stairs leading up to the slides were covered in green moss and black mold. How on earth can this be allowed in a public facility? It's not just unsightly – it’s a serious health hazard. Cardiff International Pool is in desperate need of a thorough deep clean and a serious review of its hygiene practices.

Negative experience: Ok place. Slides are basically the only fun thing. Water pressures are very light or hurt (not in the good way) but there is no in-between. Need to bring £1 for a locker and 50p to get your hair dried but it isn't listed anywhere so I needed to dry my hair in the hand drier in the bathroom. Overall, a bit disappointed but I had a bit of fun. Edit: fixed a few mistakes

Positive experience: I like the facilities but when booking lanes it doesn’t let you know the pool has been shortened. I could use Fairwater 25m pool instead I choose to go to the 50m pool…… however , you turn up and it’s actually shortened to 25m …… drive all that way and pay more money and disappointed that I wasted time and money to use the so called Olympic size pool. Happens regularly so I won’t be using it again. Will stick to Fairwater leisure center. *response to the review response - I have checked the description of eg todays bookings and none of them say in the description about the pool length…. Just fyi.

Fantastic experience: Today, we had a fantastic visit to the Cardiff International Pool with my family and a friend's family. From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless, starting with getting our entrance tickets and picking up some swimming essentials like goggles and swim caps from the well-stocked shop. The pool area was impressive, offering something for everyone. The highlight for the more experienced swimmers in our group was definitely the blue slide. It’s an exhilarating ride that drops you into a 2.5-meter-deep pool—perfect for those confident in the water. The red slide, on the other hand, was a big hit with everyone. It’s long and winding, offering a thrilling but safe ride, ideal for those who aren’t strong swimmers but still want a bit of excitement. For the younger kids, the orange and yellow slides were perfect. They’re shorter and designed with little ones in mind, though they do have height restrictions to ensure safety. The kids couldn’t get enough of them and kept going back for more. After all the fun, we took a break at the café. It’s a comfortable space with a good selection of snacks and drinks, perfect for recharging before heading back to the pool. Overall, it was a wonderful day filled with laughter, excitement, and great memories for both families.

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to pass on our granddaughters experience of her recent attendance at a swimming crash course . We are delighted with the results and will be enrolling her for weekly classes now that she is assessed at level 4. I cannot stress how good this experience has been for her, Lauren was her swimming coach and our Granddaughter really enjoyed her class. Great value for money. Well done.

Negative experience: not a good experience i was drowning and trying to shout i can’t breathe to the lifeguard and he was just starring at me when he could see i was struggling and after 2 mins of me struggling he just held out a metal poll for me to grab on to when i couldn’t even get my head to the surface of the water just said to me when i finally got out struggling to breathe don’t do that again SO RUDE

Fantastic experience: I recently started adult swimming classes at Cardiff International Pool with Jimmy, and I'm thrilled with the progress I've made. Jimmy is an amazing teacher who is both patient and kind. Thanks to his guidance, I've become a much more confident swimmer and look forward to my class each week. My children also attend swimming lessons here, and they love it. They've been improving a lot and always enjoy their time in the pool. The facilities are excellent, with a sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi for relaxation. There's also a gym with friendly staff who are always willing to help. Overall, I'm really pleased with our experience at Cardiff International Pool and highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their swimming skills or enjoy a great workout environment.

Fantastic experience: I recently had the pleasure of training with Jimmy, a swimming instructor at the International Swimming Pool in Cardiff. As someone who has completed a full Ironman and several Ironman 70.3 events, swimming has always been my Achilles' heel. My struggles were compounded by a shoulder injury I sustained last January, which made swimming even more challenging.After consulting with my fantastic PT, Sonia, she recommended Jimmy to help me overcome my difficulties. I had my first session with him this morning, and it was nothing short of amazing.Jimmy's expertise and the clarity of his explanations provided me with valuable tips that made a noticeable difference. For the first time in a long while, I felt truly comfortable and confident in the water. His approach not only addressed my technical issues but also gave me the assurance I needed to tackle my next Ironman.I can confidently say that this was the best swimming session I have ever had. A big thank you to Sonia for the recommendation and to Jimmy for his excellent guidance and support. Highly recommended!

Positive experience: A lovely leisure pool with plenty of water features and three amazing water slides ! The staff are all very knowledgeable and helpful. I actually accidently breathed in some water while i was there, and the lifeguards instantly spotted me and before I knew what was happening there was someone there to help. They were very understanding and took amazing care of me, especially the manager Rebecca Mayo, she checked me out in the first aid room but everything was A okay and I had a fantastic time. Highly recomend.

Positive experience: My children really enjoyed their outing at this pool yesterday quite disheartened by the fact the life guard banned them from using the slides because they had been down too many times (3) did not even know this was a thing?

Fantastic experience: The gym and pool are great facilities, supported by friendly and enthusiastic staff. Most notably, Liam is an exemplary credit to the team and provides personable and knowledgeable support. I cannot recommend him enough!

Fantastic experience: Recently I have been coming to CIP for the S&C classes with Liam, now I’ve been a member here since it opened and there has been some great instructors and Liam really is one of the best you’ve had. Great trainer, knowledge and actually more important a great person and leader! You guys are very lucky to have him there, thanks Liam for everything you good for the group.

Fantastic experience: Have been a member for 3/4 years now and enjoy the variety of classes on offer. Liam, Anna and Dan are all great coaches who deliver challenging but fun classes and are really friendly.

Fantastic experience: I’ve always hated going to the gym and doing exercise of any sort… until I found Liam‘s strength and conditioning class. He’s an excellent trainer - pushes you but not too hard, gives you alternatives when you feel like you can’t do the exercise he suggested, creates a really fun and motivating environment. Since starting training with Liam, I’ve actually gone to the gym outside of a class which has never happened before! I’ve enjoyed using the machines and the free weights - even when it’s busy there’s always plenty to go around. In the past, I’ve used the pool and my experience is that it’s been great fun and really clean but I don’t tend to use it during peak times.

Fantastic experience: We visited here recently after spotting it on Google. Really well organised check in with plenty of people on the desk. Flowed really well despite how busy it was. Changing area had loads of room and was clean and tidy. Pool was warm and a great size. The lazy river and slides were fantastic fun and the kids had a blast. Despite the pool being busy the queues for the slides were quick and well run. Would absolutely come visit again.

Fantastic experience: Tried a few of the classes before finding Strength and Conditioning with Liam Robinson. Liam makes the class interesting and enjoyable and he knows what he is talking about. Can't comment about the pool as not used yet.

Negative experience: No drinking water today or at changing rooms showers, went sauna no warning given nearly collapsed and manager doesn't care on health and safety.

Negative experience: I took my 3 month year old baby to swim, the state of the changing rooms were unbearable. There was food, gunk, hair and a build up that hadn’t been touched for so long. We did not see anyone cleaning, it was impossible to walk on the floor. This felt very unsafe to change a baby in due to the hygiene levels being so disgusting. We have been to a few different pools and never have we experienced such disgust. There were no staff at the end of our swim to report this to as it was a Sunday. I’m hoping this review helps them to look at their cleaning rotas ensuring the changing areas are checked regularly.

Negative experience: I don't like how I booked for 2 children, one is 13 and one is 7,but the person at the register said the 7 year old couldn't swim without an adult, why didn't they let us know before booking online? I had to refund the 7 year olds ticket, and he was very upset

Negative experience: We went to the public swimming at Cardiff International Pool for the first time. We came all the way from Bristol and were really looking forward to the slides. The slides were really popular and queues were long. Towards the end I had been queueing for at least 10 minutes with two kids and when we nearly reached the front, we were told by the swim instructor the slides were closed and we had to leave. We went down the stairs and saw the rope had been hung to close more people queuing as you would expect. But the rule of thumb is that staff should honour the people who have already been queueing to complete the slides, especially when the queue was long. I confronted the lady who was in charge of the slides at the top of the stairs. She wears tshirt with swim instructor, young in her 20s, fair skin, blondish hair with ponytail, and wear slim framed glasses, about 5’7-5’8” tall. She was completely rude and dismissed me without listening to me. I then explained the situation to the life guard with yellow tshirt standing by the pool. He agreed with me that staff at the top should have let people already queued to go down the slides. The guy asked the lady to stay and let us finish the slides. The lady responded in a dismissive way and clearly didn’t care and couldn’t be bothered speaking to any customer or colleague and just left us. I then confronted her to ask her name and she said ‘get lost’. If staff want to finish work on time, they should hang the rope 5 minutes or 10 minutes before closing time to allow everyone else in the queue to have the time to complete the slides. This was our first visit to the Cardiff International Pool and we were treated badly and unfairly. Another issue is that it is apparent that customers were confused if they were only allowed to go down the shallow slides 2 at a time even though there were 3 slides open. People seem to want to waste time by only wanting to go down slides at the same time as their family and friends and therefore often go down in pairs and leaving third slide unused. This causes longer queue than needed and is really unnecessary. Last but not least, the pool side and changing rooms are really dirty. The floor needs to be swept and mopped more regularly. I could see big pieces of rubbish, hair, fluff everywhere on the floor.

Negative experience: Took my daughter and granddaughter today. Very disappointed with the cleanliness of the changing areas and showers. Very dirty in some area.

Fantastic experience: Love visiting the pool fun pool slides open life guards were sullen and more interested in each other than doing their jobs. Cafe was excellent staff here were amazing helpful and friendly as were people on the desks.

Negative experience: A great pool that is being wasted. Instead of being able to use the full length olympic pool swimmers are forced to swim in over crowded lanes width ways. The pool is split into 3 areas. One 3rd for lessons (fair enough) one 3rd for swimmers and one third completely empty! Of the one 3rd of the pool that is open for swimming, only a few tiny lanes are open. It's crowded and unhygienic. What's the point in building and heating an Olympic size pool only to make it smaller than the average leisure centre.

Positive experience: Uses a band system, however you will notice people with various band colours on during your slot, crammed in like sardines, typically 10 minute wait for a slide on a good day. The tiles are dirty. The pool itself it alright but like I said your crammed in like sardines even if you book the first slot, it was still rammed with various band colours. The changing rooms (if your lucky to get one) are also dirty as others mentioned. I've never ever seen a cleaner lurking about when I've attended. The pool was luke warm. The booking system needs sorting, staff have to manually check your email confirmation! To sum up over crowded, expensive and needs cleaning!! Surely you can do better!!!!

Fantastic experience: We loved it! Shame you only get a one hour slot, we could have spent at least double that enjoying ourselves on the slides.

Negative experience: Been swimming for 8 months, each month less and less lanes available, repeated requests to open more lane are ignored, it seems the real reason is the pool will save money with less life guards on duty. Today only 4 lanes open - all which seem extremely narrow- this was raised with reception and the response was and I quote "Well I have swam with 8 people in the lane and its been fine", this clearly is not true and show a level of arrogance which I have never encountered before. My pool membership will be cancelled at earliest opportunity. I suggest you listen to your members and learn to respond correctly.

Negative experience: Website booking extremely poor customer experience The pool uses some external booking provider, the system requests your details three times during the booking and payment process ! Great pool though and pleasant staff, that shouldn't excuse poor customer focus web booking, that is required during peak times.

Negative experience: Facilities are not a patch on what they were pre-covid…… the leisure pool is barely open, and the booking system makes the changing rooms a nightmare as everyone arrives and leaves at the same time….. many of the classes are now virtual and it’s hard to find human help, either in person or over the phone if there are any issues. The scan in system for members doesn’t work correctly, for which members are punished by then being unable to book classes….. if you just want a gym and don’t need the pool, I’d probably recommend just about anywhere else….

Positive experience: Let too many people in at once, you only get an hour and the queue is 20 mins long for a go on the slide. No change for hair dryers. I have to say the floor from the changing room to the pool filthy stinking dirty, surely they have enough workers to give the floors a mop

Fantastic experience: Booked online. Easy process. Easy to find. Ample free parking . Smooth check-in. Big changing rooms, unisex. Brilliant pool. Showers were on the edge of the pool area and cold, and I mean cold! There were mirrors and hair dryers but the were 50p ago. Didn't have cash on me. A small cafe but nice after a swim. Coffee £3.50.

Negative experience: No facilities at this place. Very few showers and when we went they were freezing cold. Unusable, we had to go home and shower there. Changing rooms were filthy. Utter disgrace for an 'international pool'. It wouldn't happen in Berlin or Paris, so why in Cardiff the capital of Wales is their 'international pool' a disgusting shambles?

Negative experience: Pool and slides are good fun, but really expensive given the time limit. Changing area was absolutely filthy, dirty nappies on the floor, empty bottles and rubbish lying about, showers were totally cold, one of the dryers not working and the other stank of hot wee.

Negative experience: Booking and getting changed was ok. The whole leisure pool area seems a bit outdated and tired, could do with an overhaul. Water pipes pumping water up for the flumes/ tube slides were leaking massively into the pool below. Slowest tube slides I have ever been on! There are 4 slides and only got to go one time on each during the 55 minute session. Spent the rest of the time queuing! The staff take an inordinate amount of time to let people on the slides, walking back and forth checking people have gone down the slide and then slowly walking back to let the next person down. Can’t they have traffic lights like they do on other tube slides? Showers were stone cold.

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting, we visited last weekend and it’s winter and the showers was absolutely freezing, my daughter got ill and ended up in hospital with pneumonia. you can heat your pool, so there is no excuse heat your showers!

Negative experience: Awful experience, pool was a little worn, lots of rust about. The pool was very over crowded and you have to waste half of your time there just to go down a naff slide. In parts there was thick mould on the walls. Never again

Negative experience: We were really disappointed to find the flumes closed on a Thursday 10;30 booking. The operators of this pool are totally misleading customers, starting with a youtube video of the flumes on the landing page of the leisure pool website. Then completely failing to mention any closures on the calendar throughout the booking process. On the website I only found a line relating to closure relating to English Term dates. Poolside staff told us that the slides are never open on a Thursday. Someone at the desk (on our way out) mentioned they are only open on Saturdays and Sundays and one other afternoon session during the week. This borders on a scam.

Positive experience: Always wise to book your swim on line ! As sometimes it’s fully booked (all day) Lots of people in and out, but a little bit more cleaning the changing room areas as floors were soaking wet and quite a bit of rubbish! Tiles are a bit slippery on the edge of the beach pool area !! Kids love it xx

All around the edge of the pool and lazy river there's a thick layer of grim, it can be wiped away with a finger, it's not stained, so no excuses for not having that cleaned. The steps up to the slides look like they have never been scrubbed, all it would take is a scrubbing brush and a hose down, so again no excuses there. The toilets and changing cubicles were honestly horrific, the floors where filthy, trash everywhere, something brown up the walls of one of them. They obviously don't do any cleaning throughout the day or any deep cleaning out of hours either, which makes the experience pretty grim. For this reason alone, we will mot be returning. I'm surprised there isn't some kind of local authority getting in loved as I would honestly say this was a health hazard.

Negative experience: This pool refuses to give refunds if you can't attend. There is no cancellation option online and nobody answers the phone, forcing you to waste time and money to go there in person, only to be told that you can't have a refund. I feel sorry for the reception staff having to deal with very unhappy customers.

Negative experience: Changing rooms floors are disgusting no matter what time you go - covered in dirt, hair and discarded litter. Showers are also absolutely freezing despite a sign in reception claiming them to be at correct temperature following a heating problem the month before. Queues for slides take 10/15 minutes meaning your hour slot is pretty much gone if you do each of the four slides. They seem to let too many people in, takes all the enjoyment away when you’re crammed in like sardines.

Fantastic experience: Me and my little one thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We felt really comfortable and the water was clean :)

Positive experience: The pool and showers were pretty cold which wasn't great. Would have been lovely if there was a separate child pool, heated to a slightly higher temperature, so our little one could have enjoyed the water for a bit longer. Our older child enjoyed the slides but was cold in the queue. Large changing rooms with plenty of cubicles. One of the drying machines was out of order, so there was quite a queue for the functioning one.

Fantastic experience: Lovely pool with the family. Clean changing rooms and toilets. Nice warm water for toddlers. Highly recommended

Positive experience: We brought our children here on a Sunday afternoon and whilst it was fairly busy there was plenty of room for them to enjoy the slides and swimming. Unfortunately the price for an hour was expensive so I wouldn't make this a regular trip. There is a cafe area and again prices are on the high side so keep that in mind when coming here.

Negative experience: So disappointed, the pool area, changing room area & the showers were absolutely disgusting. The dirt, hair, & mud around was shocking! The stairs up to the slides were so unsanitary, plasters galore and hair everywhere. ( I understand customers wear their shoes into the changing rooms however this does not excuse the pool area and showers to be filthy) Was unable to use the showers as I could not bare standing in the filth and also the showers were cold. There was a sign to state they were having issues with the boiler and the water would not be as hot as they would like but this should have been emailed out to customers who have pre booked! The lifeguards were rude. The slides are the only good part about this place. Such a shame as I would not go back due to how unhygienic this place is.

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting!! Dirty! Smelly! Unhelpful! We arrived for a 4pm slot. Floors were brown with dirt, cubicles were messy including used nappies, food packets and it stunk of urine. Pool was very cold and the chlorine levels were high that our skin hurt. Showers were freezing cold even for adults and later found out there was a problem with the boiler, meaning we could not wash the chlorine off our toddlers properly leading to more irritation. Slides and pool set up was great but sadly we will never return. I tried to find members of reception but no one was around. Sent an email to management last Sunday still awaiting a response.

Fantastic experience: Excellent swim school. The lessons were comprehensive and well-run, and they looked after me very well when I worked as a lifeguard. Recommended

Positive experience: The pool is great - lots to do and the shallow area is a bonus, especially if you have a little one, which I do. The only downside is that some of the cubicles are filthy, specifically the nappy bins. Also some of the lockers don't work. My last visit, I had to try 3 before I could get one to lock.

Positive experience: Great slides and facilities water and showers were a little cold but ok. Staff all very friendly and changing rooms were nice

Negative experience: Overpriced, staff were rude, slides were closed and showers were cold. Really disappointed; especially given that we drove such a long way.

Fantastic experience: Great fun place for children and grown ups alike. We visited the children’s pool with slides and my son thoroughly enjoyed. They have 4 water slides and a pool area with provisions for children of all ages as far as I could see.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic facilties hosted by a staff who go out of their way to give help and support to every customer. Special shout out for Ben - Duty Manager.

Fantastic experience: The prices of the facilities are decent. Changing rooms are clean and tidy with plenty of cubicles to get changed in. The leasure pool is a lot of fun and is nicely heated. Excellent pool.

Negative experience: It would be great if there wasn't something that is always broken. Either the hot water doesn't work, there's no power, or the pool is broken. You really can't make it up

Fantastic experience: Great pool for the price. Some really fun slides including the bowl drop which I've not been brave enough to take on yet! Kids love the last river too. If I had to change anything I'd make the water a bit warmer as when you're playing with kids rather than swimming you don't stay as warm.

Fantastic experience: The water park is brilliant. Lots of different levels of thrill for all ages - toddler to grown ups. Fun rushy river, warm showers, good changing rooms. Not all slides accessible for young kids.

Positive experience: I went recently for the first time. It was difficult to have to 'parade' past everyone to get to the lane swimming. This was horrific for me as a larger person, and took me 3 attempts before I did the long walk. The floor was exceptionally slippery, and in places would have benefited from having a clean IMO. As someone with immunity issues this raised my anxiety and also concern. I did not see any information about this, and would highly recommend that swim shoes/flip flops be worn and left at poolside. This was my first time and I slipped on a number of occasions. The facilities- once you get familiar - are good. Nice to see all sections of the pool areas being used. Cubicles to get changed in, and to shower separately. The disabled shower had a seat, however, was not able to be locked back and possibly needed a clean underneath. There is a need to encourage and support all types of people to use these facilities.

Fantastic experience: Lovely pool, good slides. Only downside was forgot to bring a pound coin and they didn't have change to swap this as it's cashless.

Positive experience: It was clean & tidy, however I don't understand why you have to book online & can't just turn up & why is there a 1 hour rule only. Why can't we go back to the way it was before covid? Only come here as the children like the slides.

Negative experience: I have been a member for around 4 years. The past year I have noticed that cleaning standards have dropped significantly. Not only that. You now have to either bring your own padlock for lockers or buy one for £5. What a massive inconvenience. Hardly any sessions in the evening for swimming. I am seriously considering cancelling my membership.

Positive experience: It's a great facility, good opening hours, the 50m pool is at just the right temperature to work out. 4* as cleaning not always the best though it gets a lot of use so I appreciate it's tough to keep spotless.

Negative experience: The cleanliness of this place as absolutely horrendous. Every single week we attend kids classes first thing in the morning and there's been no attempt made to clean the changing rooms. Hair, plasters, toenails, EVERYWHERE. The floor is visibly brown in places. And then, even in the cafe area to the side of the pool there's been no attempt made to clean the floor or surfaces in god knows how long. Spilt coffee and crumbs all over the floor. It doesn't take much to clean up... Awful.
