Fantastic experience: I don't normally write reviews, but after being a member for nearly 2 years... this Gym certainly deserve it. I'm here almost everyday - enjoying the facilities, getting a quick workout in, and I enjoy working in the communal area / business hub. The refurbishment makes this the cleanest and most luxurious gym in the Kingston area by far! The staff have time for you and they genuinely care about your experience here. I've bounced around a few David Lloyds in my time - let me tell you, this branch know what they are doing, no need to look any further...

Fantastic experience: Just signed up as a member at the Kingston Branch - 1 month into my membership and having a brilliant time! The staff are all friendly and the facilities are very clean / gym up to date with some of the latest equipment. I particularly want to give a shout out to Joshua, one of the PT's at Kingston - full of knowledge and made my experience at the club that much better. Please do not hesitate to join - cheers guys!

Fantastic experience: I recently visited David Lloyd Kingston and had a great time. The club itself is fantastic, but what really made the visit special was James. He was so helpful and knowledgeable, and he took the time to really understand what I was looking for in a gym and what my fitness goals were. Unlike some other sales people I've met, James wasn't pushy at all. He was just genuinely interested in helping me find the right membership for me. I'm so glad I met him, and I'm really looking forward to being a member at David Lloyd Kingston.

Negative experience: I've been a member since the beginning of the year and was initially excited to see the refurbished facilities. The staff are excellent, always friendly, helpful, and provide great customer service. However, the overall quality of services has not improved despite the updates (maybe it's got worse?) The refurbishment of the pool and spa seems more cosmetic than functional, offering no real value added improvements. Additionally, the steam room and sauna are consistently cold every morning, which is disappointing, especially when paying a premium membership price. For a club of this calibre, I expect much better attention to detail and maintenance to ensure all facilities meet high standards. It’s frustrating to see minimal return on investment for members, and I hope management takes this feedback on board to address these issues. Until then, I can’t fully recommend the experience at its current cost.

Negative experience: Do not join ,they scam you,,I’ve cancel by phone my membership and they still charging me even I’ve cancel my membership

Negative experience: Worst experience We joined the trail period and were eligible to stop membership within 14 days Have dropped so many emails and even on call we were comfirmed that membership is cancelled. Still was charged for next month and also extra amount was deducted. Now no one picks up the call when you try to reach reception

Positive experience: It’s a bit over rated, very average machines to work out, the spa is just 2 steam rooms and a small pool. As a pro are nice and clean interior, but doesn’t worth the price to be honest.

We booked a tour and were so impressed with the cutting edge technology that was available to tailor your training programme and monitor progress, so impressive!! Look forward to signing up for more blaze session. ——- Previous members for 20 years on and off. Decided to signed back up today. Met Shanon who took my wife and I around the new studios which look fantastic. Look forward to the rest of the gym opening up fully in the coming weeks (In particular the swimming pool). Shanon was friendly, professional and answer all our questions with a smile. Thank you. And look forward to being back at David Lloyd Kingston.

Negative experience: I joined in May 2023 and in the small print they added a clause into the contract that says even if works are undergoing on key facilities, you are unable to break the clause and leave the gym. 4 months later by September they’d shut the whole swimming pool facility down for a year… I can count on a couple hands how many times my partner has been able to use the gym floor for weights at peak times, before and after work. Also to be aware, after your annual contract expires they lock you into a 3 month notice and haven’t shown any flexibility on this point, so shows they’re clearly struggling for the cash flow. The staff are really nice but the customer service team take a month at average to respond to their customers. I have a been a member in the past as well but can see over the years this gym has really gone down hill. Although they have replied to my post here trying to seem helpful and to email them directly, they continue to ignore any email communications.. seriously poor customer service.

Negative experience: Avoid this place!! These people are total con artists and their ‘customer relations’ manager Hannah ignores any correspondence. I have been trying for 6 months to end my contract with David Lloyd due to the state of the facilities and the fact everything has been closed and they just ignore all my requests! Once you sign that contract you are genuinely trapped. Do not believe any of the positive reviews as David Lloyd bribes new joiners to write them.
