Positive experience: I only go there for my COVID booster but it looks very good

Positive experience: Very friendly staff and a lovely gym with a fair amount of different weight machines

Negative experience: Extortionate prices for drinks, £2.60 for a mug of hot water with a teabag in and a splash of milk, they even refuse extra hot water, unfriendly server.Tbis is dearer than a pot of tea in Seaford cafes., Beth's Kitchen charge £2.30; for a pot of tea and homemade biscuits, Haribets £2.40 .Both are happy to provide extra hot water and their staff are lovely.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this gym, it has a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere, it’s kept very clean and organised, the staff are incredibly welcoming and always get involved with helping people, the front desk staff are excellent in particular an older lady who never fails to make me laugh, this gym is lovely and I'm glad to have a membership here.

Fantastic experience: The downs leisure centre is great for all sport activities and they have a cafe there all types of drinks hot and cold only criticism i found was the sandwiches were a bit limp boring thin bread cud do with using decent bread an bit mor filling then it wud be perfect..i went to to the toy antique fair there which is always interesting about 50% old toys and 50% antiques collectable etc yes worth a visit for that they have 2 events a year with antique fair april and October so have look in local papers to find details a week before event best google it and get the fone number either Peter Holmes or Robert horseradish they run the shows.30th March 2024

Negative experience: WE HAVE BEEN KICKED OUT AND THEY SAID IF WE BUY SOMETHING THAT WE COULD STAY SO WE BROUGHT SOMETHING WMD THEY KICKED US OUT SO THATS FALSE ADVERTISING AND RUDE STAFF

Fantastic experience: We attended a children's party. Mist enjoyable,large Bouncy Castle. Friend staff and reasonably priced refreshments.

Negative experience: Nice, good quality gym. Thing is, when I signed up to a 2 year direct debit membership, I was not advised that immature 15-17 year olds completely dominate the place from about 4pm-7pm Monday to Friday. They mistreat the equipment, hang around in large groups and act immaturely… totally what you’d expect from kids of their age. I’m not happy about signing up and not being advised of this first. Not all the youngsters are like this, but generally it’s not a pleasant experience. Very disappointed. If I’d known, I would not have signed up. Poor business by the management in my view.

Negative experience: I visited the Downs Leisure Centre cafe two weeks ago ordered a coffee and a cake slice, before I opened the cake I noticed it was mouldy.. returned it to the cafe , was offered another slice but that one was out if date !!! Cafe staff need to check dates on food they are selling !! Not good publicity,.

Negative experience: Signed up May this year and enjoyed it was quiet and could have good use of the gym. Although due to the cost of living being a student on an apprenticeship during a cost of living I could no longer afford it and due to other work commitments that arose I physically couldn’t use the gym. I emailed the office as it states to be met with a rude reply then to be completely ignored afterwards with no way to cancel the payments I’m left paying for a membership that I can’t physically use and no way of contacting anyone because I just get ignored. Company is an absolute con and couldn’t care less once they’ve got your money in their pocket. No regard for there customers or there well being.

Fantastic experience: Staff are welcoming and friendly. The gym here is fantastic. The cafe is great too. Good food and the coffee is lovely.

Positive experience: Visited for a antique and toy collectors fair. Very good facilities and lovely cafe. Superb fair with many interesting stalls.

Fantastic experience: I love this place and how friendly and professional are the staff? They're AMAZING! I love the gym, the a equipment they have, brilliant variety, big changing room, showered, lockers, plenty of parking. So many classes. Just brilliant.

Positive experience: Great leisure centre with an old fashioned vibe. It's very pleasant.

Positive experience: Flood lit astro turf area. Fully fenced off as well. I haven't used the facilities but it looks well maintained. You can walk your dog around the area outside and poo bins are provided.

Fantastic experience: Good gym and for once a gym that plays decent music. Hitting my PRs listening to bangers by David Bowie and ABBA is fun. Friendly staff and a clean gym with relatively new equipment. Could use some more compound equipment like another Squat or flat barbell bench rack but other than that no complaints. Nice chill atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Loads of activities for all ages, lovely cafe, parking. Geared up for indoor and outdoor events. Good lay out if disabled and so many clubs to join. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and helpful. Give it a try. Reasonable cost for classes aswell.

Positive experience: At the Downs Liesure you can use the gym or do various exercise classes. There are changing rooms, showers & lo lockers. You can also ha e a drink in the cafe after. The gym is spacious with air conditioning.
