Positive experience: Recently joined this gym and I really like it. Yes it can get busy at certain times but I feel there is enough space and equipment for everyone. There are enough cables to do different exercises on. I haven’t had any issues getting on equipment. Yes there are a few people with tripods filming but I have only ever seen them film themselves respectfully. If I didn’t feel comfortable and I was there first I would kindly ask they don’t use it until I am done. Haven’t had many interactions with the staff apart from Ian who is great. Really enjoying my workouts there.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with large tabs of free weights, isolated exercise machines and squat racks. Plenty of instructor led classes if that's your thing. You may struggle to get a bench early evening what with all the young lids posing and flexing

Negative experience: I only joined because it say on website all Everlast has pool and sauna very dispointed that aintree never it was miss leading in there site saying all Everlast has a pool reason I joined will be hanging notice in to leave

Positive experience: Clean gym, big, but very busy. Not a good selection of classes,at all. Classes aren't suitable for everyone. Would be nice to have a class that concentrates on core and a class on lifting/weights.

Negative experience: 4 men fighting, using weights as weapons and not a single staff member in site!!

Fantastic experience: Great gym at a very reasonable price, especially for all the kit is has! The staff are friendly, helpful and Adam and the group really work hard to great a boss atmosphere - this just makes coming to this gym an all round pleasure and a good place you want to train at.

Negative experience: Been coming to this gym for about 10 years. Gym is no longer offering a varied timetable for classes that suit working parents. Please put on more haymaker classes after 7pm,as hussle becomes very boring if its the only class on each week at this time.

Fantastic experience: It's easily the best gym kit in the area, hands down. Classes are a welcome change to the typical structure across other brands. Good Staff.

Positive experience: In terms of gym equipment, it is excellent and definitely the best equipped gym that I've used with a clear layout. In addition to this, they have great side rooms for classes with wicked lighting that gets you pumped and decent changing rooms (bring a lock for the lockers). The staff are all really nice and they keep it so clean and tidy because lots of gym users don't put their weights, benches, kettle bells, etc away. The only downside is that there are a few egos in this gym that creates a tiny bit of an atmosphere. If you're there to just train, then you'll love it. Overall, it's a good gym, and I would definitely recommend it!

Positive experience: An ok range of equipment, some aren't great (lat pulldown machines) compared to other gyms. You've got no chance of getting on ham curls, quad extensions or pec fly machines whatever time you go, need to invest in an extra of each. Worst offense is blasting music so loud that you can't hear your own headphones.

Negative experience: Since the upgrade: Ridiculously loud music and classes broadcast over tannoy so you cant hear you music on you headphones, I often got warnings on my apple watch to warn the music/tannoy is too loud (95db), constant broken equipment, massively overcrowded and full of angry posers, people with cameras on tripods filming you whilst your train and body shaming, full of grafters, fights between gangs, and the manager Jayne just laughs complaints off. All the old members and staff have left recently, new staff only last a few months its that bad. Whilst it looks nice, if you want to get your workout done in piece then this is not the place anymore.

Negative experience: I wanted to cancel my membership shortly after the end of the most recent lockdown in 2021. I contacted Everlast fitness and was told I could cancel my membership immediately by cancelling the direct debit with the bank as I was moving away from the area. I have since been hounded by them for a three months cancellation fee which has had administration fees added on top. Communications have been very unclear and the Everlast customer service team is very slow at responding to any communication. Thoroughly irritated, would never sign up for another service provided by this company again.

Negative experience: Absolutely discussed with the service was left waiting for 50 minute for our meal while peoe were coming in after us and being served would not go here again.

Positive experience: Equipment is looking a bit tired and the whole place could probably do with a refresh. Saying that, it's always friendly with helpful staff & happy members. Oh & don't forget to enter your car reg when you're in the gym or you might get a fine.

Fantastic experience: The first gym ive ever been to and i am really enjoying it. The people are lovely and the staff are great. Its a large gym as well so even if its busy it never feels packed. Loads of machines as well

Negative experience: Well spaced out place but not enough dumbbells, machines out of order for more than 3 months even tho I've complained! Some machines are still in use but in need of repair which render them quite dangerous to use! Usual national chain gym type set up, no atmosphere, terrible music played far too quietly

Negative experience: Poorly run gym, couldn’t offer me a membership card after 4 weeks of initially joining- Waited at reception for 25 mins to speak to a member of staff to let me in. Cleanliness of bathrooms could be improved also.

Fantastic experience: This is the new name for "sports direct" fitness clubs. The value for money in these clubs is superb!!! I was a general manager for fitness first and dont see how other clubs can compete. The staff are well trained. The clubs are clean and spacious .The equipment is state of the art new. The classes are abundant. This all for £8 a month. Superb!!!

Negative experience: Awful customer service. I was sold a six month contract over the counter, two years later I’m still trying to get out of the contract. I’ve made two formal complaints both of which have been ignored. The only customer service staff I have spoken to have been aggressive and refuse to listen to my issues. The gym itself isn’t great, half the time 3/4 stair machines are out of use. Changing rooms smell and the gym staff aren’t friendly. I cannot recommend enough that you do not join this gym. Their contract and the way they lure people into it over the counter is borderline fraudulent and I’m surprised they’re still allowed to operate. In summary, don’t join this gym, it’s been one of the worst experiences of my life.

Fantastic experience: I've gone to gyms in the past and never really stuck with them until this one. Gym is great and generally not much waiting time in between machines as there are so many and a great option. Staff are really friendly and the gym has a great atmosphere.

Positive experience: Ok..Good gym for the price..some good kit if you know what you want to use Same stuff for the last 4 years ive been here ..could do with upgrading some outdated failing equipment I would however recommend to the owners of Sports Direct the following; Proper sanitizing of heavily used gym equipment And the showers these desperately need to be cleaned as they stink and fall way below expected hygiene standards
