Positive experience: Much improved over the last few years pa

Fantastic experience: Had a box fit class this afternoon was my first time there so was really nervous and the instructor was really welcoming made me feel at ease straight away

Negative experience: Tried to use the gym and was told I'd have to pay £25 for an induction. I've been using different gyms whilst travelling for years and never once did I pay for an induction.

Fantastic experience: I used to go there regularly, but changed jobs so was unable to go. Now afew years late I am on a rehabilitation course . The staff are brilliant ,very helpful and are interested in your wellbeing. Thank you.

Positive experience: Haven't been there for about 10 years. It's a little tired looking, could do with a scrub and a lick of paint everywhere looks so unkept.

Positive experience: Cool gym, many exercise machines to use and to get a good pump going. I really enjoy working out here, and the staff are nice and friendly.The reason I'm giving four stars is that there are not enough exercise machines that target core muscles.

Negative experience: Could do with updating, as I was walking around my son needed the toilet, so I had taken him to the toilet by main entrance the male toilet looked like it was from a run down council house. More concerning was the fire door leading to the pool area which was held open by a weight off some sort, considering it had a fire rated door closure device fitted to the door. Also the fire rated strips fixed to the edge of the doors were covered in paint. I am pretty sure this is against fire safety regulations.

Negative experience: I mean, I'm giving it a 2 star rating. I mean it's not the best leisure center in the world. Changing rooms (sometimes) smells like urine, pools are cold most of the time. The café is great for getting food but the drinks are just overpriced. If you're gonna get a drink it'd be better off just going to the supermarket and getting a drink for cheaper. Do have a lot of fun activities tho. But it's not the best. like I said.

Negative experience: your life gards are terrible at there jobs please fire all of them sprcifally the one with the beard and was a bit tanned because he bullied me and my cousin and I can swim very good I am deeply offended and hurt also my legs hurt from standing in the pool because of ur lifeguards. Pls fire them all love u

Fantastic experience: Although the cantre is a bit tired in places it's more than compensated for by the friendly helpful staff, (and other users). I had a thoroughly enjoyable lane swimming session.

Negative experience: very bad experience. overall experience was great with the swimming facilities but when it came to the changing rooms it was terrible. I was expected to get changed, dried, wash my hair, do my makeup, dry my hair, put in jewelry in 20 minutes which is near impossible. Around 15 minutes after I was told that, 3 male workers came into the girls changing rooms talking very aggressively. one of them asked if I had clothes on and when I said I didn't have a top on yet they still continued to enter the changing rooms threatening us by saying I would get soaked by them because they had to clean the floors which is understandable but I don't understand why they had to come in 5 minutes earlier than they said when I didn't even have enough time to change in the first place. then one of the men continued to enter the toilet section of the changing rooms after he'd previously asked me where I was and I said there, he threatened to would turn the lights off and lock up so I would have to change I'm the dark. I don't particularly recommend treating customers like this, especially when they practically help provide your pay.( also the last time I went swimming here the same man that entered the changing rooms when I was trying to change was asking me and my friend what school we go to, what year we're in and our names. even if he didn't mean this in the way we took it, it was an extremely inappropriate conversation to be having with thirteen and fourteen years old girls concidering he was a fully grown male.)

Positive experience: Pool and swim coaches are great. Cafe staff and seating gallery also awesome. Biggest let down is female changing rooms, dreadful! Unsanitary, terrible layout and a continuous awful stink. Needs a major overhaul and a regular and consistent cleaning routine.

Fantastic experience: The kids love the swimming pool here. The online booking is a little difficult to use but otherwise a really good leisure centre. Clean changing rooms and very bright pool area.

Positive experience: Does what it says on the tin, it's a gym, staff are approachable and happy to help. Great atmosphere there too.

Positive experience: Friendly staff, a great community resource and my children love the place. My only gripe is the IT/bureaucracy - everything feels harder than it ought to be e.g. booking, checking in, cancelling etc. An asset to the town nevertheless.

Fantastic experience: My granddaughter has swimming lessons here. Appears clean with good choice of sports to do. Parking is free, but can be difficult to park if any out door sports are going on in the playing fields nearby.

Positive experience: It's been over 12 months since I returned to swimming here. I was a child when this was first built and some of it hasn't changed. It may be a tired building and the facilities not perfect but the staff do their best to keep this much needed facility running. Ladies changing rooms need updating and lockers are in need of renovating. The staff try to keep it as clean as possible but customers do not always help by leaving their rubbish. I'm sure they could put things in the bin. I will continue to use the pool as my fitness levels have improved with regular attendance. Several of the staff are helpful and often suggest ways of improving your fitness by trying out bits of equipment. I wonder if I'll be around when the much discussed Wellness Village appears....and more importantly....will I be able to afford it?

Positive experience: Loved this place growing up. Shame to see it hasn't been updated or seen adequate repairs in the 20 years since. I mean, it's okay, but it needs more upkeep than it's getting
