Positive experience: Great pool, thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Fantastic experience: I use the Hydrotherapy pool and it has been life changing . I have done my physio exercises here and regained a large amount of movement in my right arm/shoulder and been able to build up muscle both there and in my knee. The pool is a lifeline gor many who have had injury, arthritis and post surgery problems. Great team.

Fantastic experience: Good value gym facility with very helpful staff. I had never been to a gym and the induction process was very good. You can get a personalised exercise program worked out to get you started and they show you how to use the equipment.

Fantastic experience: I bring my daughter here 2-3 times a month. Really good facilities kept really clean. The staff are lovely too, from the folks at the front desk to the lifeguards and the cleaners working hard in the changing room. Obviously a very well run place.

Negative experience: I used to swim here over about 29 years. Never had to book.Never ever dealt with officious incompetent staff. I looked forward to my swim this morning 25/4/24 arriving at 9.35. I’m not in Teddington much these days. Very empty lanes, I waited for about five minutes watching the pool through doors. The other female cashier was waiting for the till to free up to serve me. Conversation went more or less like this at 0935: “One lane swim please” “You have a 3/4 hr swim, for 9.30 start” “I’d like an hour please - didn’t know had to book. If I swim now I’ll get half hour only.” “Then you’ll need pay for double session.” “No, I just want an hour! You’re not full - almost empty.” (Manager: “It could encroach other lessons etc.”) “But your lane swims are till about midday! You’ve got no other sessions!” “So, can I help you or not?” (Says cashier with pursed lips) “”You’re being ridiculous little bureaucrats!” I say (quite incredulous at their jobs worthy attitudes) Three men rush out of office with manager like bouncers, I leave with a last “You’re being utterly ridiculous!” The place is ruined. Appalling staff and a rip off.

Fantastic experience: This pool has been here a very long time but still does its job perfectly well. The learner pool is warm. The training pool is well run.

Positive experience: First visit to Teddington for many a year. This was a visit to the pool. Everything was clean and tidy, The possible downside is they are timed sessions so on the changeover the changing rooms are very busy. There is enough lockers, enough changing cubicles but not really with showers. The booking system worked well and all you need is your name when you turn up. The entrance gets congested as a shows off area, however it does mean past this point the floors remain clean even when wet. Better than Lampton 360 at Isleworth

Positive experience: Update to earlier review (see below) as I finally managed to register thanks to eventually managing to speak to someone who was fantastically helpful. I have since visited a couple of times and all the staff are equally friendly and helpful so a great place to go for a quick swim in the area. Previous review (with 1 star) I’m sure it’s lovely - will never know as it is seemingly impossibly to register, book and pay via the archaic online booking system

Fantastic experience: Nice place to learn, good instructors very kind and patient.

Positive experience: It’s a good option if you don’t want to pay for an overpriced gym. It has good facilities and I never had to queue for machines as it’s a lot quieter than other local gyms. The classes weren’t great I found some of the instructors a bit rude and condescending but the other staff are nice. Pool is good. Changing facilities are dated but clean.

Negative experience: Very poor information. Paid to go swimming and to park up. No one tells you that they’re going to have a lesson on so after 30 minutes of being in the water you get told to leave then when you mention it it’s like making a fuss for asking questions, very unprofessional

Positive experience: The pool itself is quite dated and clearly didn't see a lot investment in the last 15 years, but the changing rooms are quite nice and it is definitely clean.

Negative experience: We are not happy that we have to book In before coming to the pool . We can not download the App and as a registered carer it’s not possible to book online. This is ridiculous , covid is over , we should be able to come to the pool freely. We have disabilities and have difficulties trying to book beforehand .

Fantastic experience: really lovely pool. really clean and well managed, life guards are super friendly and pleasant, not too expensive for an hour swim with lots of different memberships available. and really nice glass walls so very light and spacious

Positive experience: I've been using the Hydrotherapy Pool for multiple months now due to medical issues. The included facilities are mostly fine, a few exceptions however. For example: every shower head holder in the hydrotherapy section is and have been broken for longer than I've been attending. Staff are friendly if you engage in conversation first. Other attendees are polite. The included weights, floats, and general equipment for use in the pool itself are great. The Hydrotherapy Pool is nice and warm, being in the range of 32°c and 35°c. Price for admission in the Hydrotherapy Pool is £9.70 for an adult, £8.70 if you own a Richmond Card, with concession pricing at £4.40 for low income, disabled or unemployed. You're able to book classes and lanes for the main pool on their site, with the exception being you have to call to book the hydrotherapy pool. Overall, a great facility. Will update once I graduate to the pool and gym!

Fantastic experience: I have been swimming at Teddington Pool on and off for very many years, and have always found it an enjoyable experience. However, I have been more than impressed by the facility since lockdown. The water is pristine as are the changing rooms (shout-out to the lovely cleaners) and the staff are always friendly and helpful. There is still a booking system which does require a bit of negotiating to get the slot you want, but it is well worth the effort for such an enjoyable 45 minutes of swimming. So huge thanks to all the staff for making post-lockdown much easier to endure!

Negative experience: I would rate them 4 star if they answered the phone in a decent time. I have already been on the phone for 45 minutes to be cut off then 36 minutes to get cut off again and now on the phone again and been waiting 40 minutes so far and still going. All I want to do is book a family swim. The repetitive music is driving me insane and I can't handle much more of it. Im only hanging on for the sake of my kids. Generally apart from this phone problem it's usually really basic but nice. Never over crowded and the small pool is warm.

Fantastic experience: An excellent Hydro Pool facility and staff. This has helped with my mobility issues tremendously, a very cost effective treatment facility close at hand with brilliant staff.

Positive experience: So glad the pool is still there, I have used it a lot over the years. Mid-week it is very quiet and provides peaceful and fun excercise. It is usually not warm per se. But definately heated. So getting in is fine all year round. Well staffed. Changing rooms are clean, there are plenty of lockers. Some are usually in need of repair but they replaced older ones and the new ones are good because the key was stiff in some of the old ones. Now it's easy to turn, a child can do it. We are not talking luxury or finery, but if you want to swim in SW London this is one of the best places to go. You can also use student cards.

Positive experience: The pool and changing rooms could do with a bit of a clean as they are quite grimey. The overall atmosphere was quite nice, it wasn't too busy, and the pool qas quite warm!
