Meadow Centre

Fantastic experience: Meadow Centre is such a lovely facility. The staff are kind and helpful. The building is lovely. The waterslide is a blast. I would absolutely recommend it to friends even if just for a day out.

Positive experience: Excellent leisure centre and the gym is top notch since being done up a couple of months ago. Staff are friendly and helpful too. My only gripe would be that I really think there should be a limit to the amount of under 18’s allowed in the gym. All they do is hang around in large groups, hog equipment without actually using it and generally just being rude and getting in the way.

Fantastic experience: Came here twice with our 5 yr old she loves the pool and the waves. It a nice pool not to noisy if u have sensory children. And the viewin area is next to the pool so even better.

Fantastic experience: Great value and great pool for the kids. Changing rooms are ok and lockers are of a good size, plus some extra large ones for families. Waves are every 30mins with slide on between wave sessions

Negative experience: Drove for over an hour to drop the kids here after phoning and checking they were open to drop kids off. Arrived to be told they needed accompanied by adults as there was something on. They assumed that I would be going in. The receptionist could have told us on the phone. No apologies etc... Kids are 12 &13.

Fantastic experience: I use the gym sometime, Pleanty of cardio, weight machines & free weights to do all you need to. Staff are great. Nice warm swimming pool also has additional pool for young children. Large family lockers available and decent size changing rooms.

Fantastic experience: We go there every week. They do swimming, gym, family days and other things. During the summer they do free kids swimming between 11-3pm and free gym sessions for kids between those times. The pool has shallow & deep end, life guards on duty and wave machines & slide, we love it. Would recommend for kids. Family nyts are on a Saturday & can involve, swimming, inflatables, badminton, basketball, football, depending on what the kids like. X

Fantastic experience: Great visit! My little one loved the waves (which were on around every 30 minutes at the time of our visit) and the water slide was fab too!

Fantastic experience: Went to this centre on Saturday with my two kids 10/2, the blonde lady taking admissions in the desk was super helpful and really patient with me trying to get a payment made, got in to the swimming itself and everything went great until my sons water nappy burst, I noticed they didn’t have any on sale so asked one of the staff members in the changing room if he could help, no less than two mins later he appeared with a new swim nappy, I was absolutely delighted as this meant my two children who had only been in the pool 10 mins could continue to swim, the swimming itself you can tell is dated but clean and well staffed for any help you might need, first time here and will most certainly be returning again! Also £7 odds for us 3 was a cheap day out

Fantastic experience: Kids love the wave machine.

Fantastic experience: Great fun pool for kids with a slide and wave machine. My kids loved it. Was only £9 for a family of four which is amazing value. They also enjoyed the playground next to it after swimming.

Fantastic experience: We really enjoy going we were there for my wee girls birthday in February and that was her first time experiencing the slide and waves and she absolutely loved it also the family day 2 adults and 2 children is amazing value for money at only £8 the only thing I could say is it would be better if they had a separate pool for baby's, toddlers and kids even split the pool into 2 so they have there own also maybe a bit of heating on in changing rooms as it's freezing cold in there but can't fault it at all

Negative experience: Very overpriced for the services they are providing, poor equipment, poor facilities and ultimately a place to avoid. Came back to this gym several times over the years and every time it just goes further down my list of gyms. Two very good trainers in there(Robert and John) hopefully management wake up and realise they are miles behind other businesses who offer the same.

Fantastic experience: It was a great venue for the finishing line for the 2021 Glasgow Kiltwalk. Good catering areas and plenty of portoloos. Lots of space to sit, relax and recover. Good public transport facilities nearby.

Fantastic experience: The team at the meadow centre are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. This is an LGBT friendly place where you will be respected for what you are. They provide lots of classes FROM Spin to yoga. Lots of disabled facilities and assistance and good family changing facilities. The Jim is well equipped.

Negative experience: Really getting dated inside now. Hadn't been for a long time but was virtually the same. Showers/toilets smelled. Deep puddles around the pool area (not in the pool) which you needed to cross to get to the sauna. A little bit of investment would go a long way here considering it is the main leisure centre for the people of Dumbarton.

Positive experience: Open again, you need to phone n book, one hour slot for swimming, wave machine n flume currently turned off. Still, wee guy enjoyed his first swim in months.
