Positive experience: The gym opens when half the morning is done and god help anyone who appears before 9am, the panic on the woman's face as I came in at 8.56 today and her interrupting me and pointing at the clock was not necessary By the time I got changed it would have been 9am anyway but I had to sit like a tube in the foyer for four minutes. The gym should open same time as the swimming.

Negative experience: Take the grandchildren to their swimming lessons. It's always busy and the heat is almost unbearable in the pool area. There are never enough showers for the kids and sometimes the water is really hot. The stonework in the pool area for seating is lethal and should be removed. The staff are wonderful which is the saving grace .

Negative experience: Poor poor place sauna was cold steam room smelt of urine and the showers were a disgrace no pressure at all and would still be there to rinse my hair I suppose it would be acceptable if I had short thin hair and didn't feel the need to get clean after my swim I ended up getting dressed and driving back to Clydebank leisure centre and using there facilities as much cleaner also

Positive experience: The pool is a great temperature and there is usually a lane to swim during the day. The pool area is always clean and lifeguards are always visible so you feel safe. Down side, the pool needs to be emptied so the pool and grouting can be properly blasted clean because it has a lot of green alge in the pool and drainage areas. Also there are a few areas that need filling in as the tiles are very sharp.

Negative experience: Took my children here today for a wee hour swim. The staff were on our case constantly. One minute we were told to put the kids' arm bands on. Then we were told that we weren't allowed in with arm bands in the pool. They were watching us and making us feel uncomfortable. We left early. We were trying to teach our kids to swim and minding our own business. Horrid wee jobs-worths.

Positive experience: Not a bad little venue. Cheery welcoming staff. Not ideal for fitness swimming, however thats not what Scotland is known for! I still had a decent enough swim navigating around the tug boat people.

For years the kids have been swimming a full length on their lesson, but now some bright spark in power has changed it so they only get to swim HALF A BREADTH! Staff are great, friendly and helpful. The person who brought in this change needs to come and see how poor the lessons have become. I wonder if they themselves can even swim.

Positive experience: Just a pool,no waves or flumes,shallow pool and official sized pool great if your teaching your kids to swim or looking for a fun way to exercise,may bump into local schools during the school day if you go on a day off so plan accordingly or take earplugs.

Positive experience: The pool is as old as time, but has a great swimming club. It's other facilities are well used so look a little neglected. About time a new updated facility was built.

Positive experience: West Dunbartonshire Council run leisure centre the building is rather dated. Updated gym with a lot of new machines. Car parking recently improved with additional disabled spaces. Staff are welcoming and professional. Flooding issues in one of the carparks and on the disabled access ramp which has been evident for a considerable period.
