Fantastic experience: Pure gym staff really friendly and the place is very clean and tidy. always finding the equipment on the right place except the people who’s using equipment. Fantastic experience: I attend Anah circuit class on weekend its great i love it. She ivited me to monday class i was amazed that she adapted such a class monday for diffrent abilities people all ages and disability but made it work for everyone in the room no one was left . She even stayed close by to help a older women off the floor as she struggled with getting up and down can we give this girls a huge

Negative experience: Even for a puregym it's bad. Old equipment, bars are smooth and knackered, very dingy.

Fantastic experience: My favourite place to workout. I remember when I first joined, I didn’t touch any gym area equipment for a year as I was just loving the classes. What stands out for me about this gym is the friendly staff members including the cleaning team. Many staff have come and gone over the years but they’ve always been a friendly, welcoming and professional bunch.

Negative experience: This review is for my son. He went today for and induction he is a larger lad who is to say the least anxious he plucked up the courage to go and have an induction with a view to joining instead he came home being put off by an instructor who is obviously not a people person , he was shown the equipment but not how to use the bloke then went in to a speel about a £240 personal trainer he does not have this type of cash all he wanted was to go in his own time and do some things that would help this is not what the gym or maybe this trainer is about so larger people check who your talking to and your confidence Is low already don't go here

Negative experience: Never despised a gym so much, after closing my account and cancelling my membership I still had £18.99 taken out of my account and had that happen before after putting a dispute in originally from me attending this gym and within the first week I got too sick from the unclean equipment to be even able to go back, they refused to reimburse me. I’d stay away from this gym, there’s a lack of equipment/machines and even if you get to go early you’ll meet yourself against somebody who safe guards a machine whilst they’re busy taking pictures of themselves for snapchat, as far as my experience goes it’s been poor as hell, I originally went to JD Gym’s on Manningham Lane and found that place more ideal for much more machines, cleaner equipment and more organisation with a company across from it that sells bodybuilding foods or protein powder. This place gives spuzzed up back garden gym vibes, well not worth the money.

Cancellations need to be done no later than 4 working days before the set payment date, as we need enough time to notify the bank's of payment changes. We developed industry-leading cleaning and hygiene protocols to help keep our members and employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, and we’re proud to say that many of the protocols implemented during lockdown, such as frequent and regular cleaning, and improvements to our air ventilation systems, will continue to be a core part of our TrainSafe Commitment. Staff are available in the gym and you are more than welcome to speak to them of any concerns, or you can contact Member Services. We always aim to provide a broad spread of kit to cater to a range of fitness needs and meet demand as it changes through the day. Unfortunately, we are unable to monitor the usage of phones in our gyms, however if people are sitting on equipment I would strongly advise approaching a member of staff on the floor who will be able to help further. Negative experience: I've been a member for a while and everything has been fine but tonight after being intimidated by a man over a machine I asked a member of staff for some support he said it was only harassment if it happened a few times and there were no staff available to deal with the situation there are posters everywhere saying they are against harassment but not sure that is true, if you are a woman on your own and want a safe space not sure puregym idle can offer that

Positive experience: Loads of equipment and good classes. Can get busy at times. Classes during lunch time hours often get cancelled due to low numbers which is a shame.

We’re afraid it's true, our gyms simply are very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day and from day to day. Fantastic experience: Went here for a week while my regular PureGym was getting work done to it. I must say it's not as big as Thornbury PureGym, but still has all the machines and weights needed to do my work out. Was quite busy but still got on to all the machines I usually use. Staff here were pretty cool aswel...

Positive experience: Can’t get my head around why one of the racks doesn’t have a mirror, how you’re supposed to see your form beats me. Similar issue with free weights area, not enough mirrors. Baffling.

Positive experience: It does the job, not the place for you if you're wanting everything to be perfect. Equipment is always all over the place but generally kept clean.
Positive experience: Decent gym considering how small it is but seems over subscribed as I tried going once at around 6/7am and it was over flowing so I tend to go very late at night, not the any of the staffs fault (cleaners are very friendly and helpful) but in ladies area weights are always all over the place - very irritating considering it takes 2 seconds to put it back where you took it from so I feel like members should be reminded more to put things back where you took them from and stop leaving the areas in such a mess.

Negative experience: Weights left everywhere, no one is held accountable by staff. Lack of staff on floor. People not very friendly.

It is in the gym rules that members should return their own weights or risk suspension, but at peak times especially it can be hard to police this. However, staff on site do everything they can while we also have CCTV monitoring the free weights and are looking for new ways to combat this. Our gyms aren't staffed around the clock, you can check out your gyms unmanned hours on it's homepage on our website. Thanks, PureGym
Positive experience: Only reason why rate it a 3 is because there's not many plates, missing equipment of certain machines, other pure gyms are alot more cleaner, we'll set out and alot more equipment, there's only 1 bench press?!!

Negative experience: Been here a few months now. Some equitpement we can do with they don't have In, even tho they have them at other branches. Hamstring extension. (Lying down) Fly machine broken for 3 weeks now. Very poor.

Positive experience: Plenty of weights cardio machines to use and a good size women’s only section
Negative experience: We joined this gym and my husband had his locker broken into and had 5 cards stolen, wouldn't recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: Went to join the gym very clean and airy. The person in charge was very efficient and knowledgeable, looking forward to our next visit and finally being able to work out.

Positive experience: Clean!!! Friendly staff, open 24/7 which is why I go as I like to go after 0000 hrs. In line with covid 19 regs, cleaning station's all over. Just wish people would take personal responsibility and actually use the cleaning equipment to wipe stuff down after they used it

Fantastic experience: Great experience. There is a fair amount of machines and other things you can work on which are simple to use. There is a free trial and generally the costs are fairly low. Probably one of the best gyms I've gone to. Really recommend it

Negative experience: Needs more updated equipment! TV's missing from brackets hanging down from roof no consistency with the sound level of music - sometime load, sometimes no volume at all - very blah!!
Fantastic experience: Good range of equipment, however if you go between 1700-2000 hours you can’t move, far to many members in at that time. Average 150 people on a weekday

Fantastic experience: It was amazing friendly helpful and great classes
Negative experience: Should be called poor gym. Very limited weights. No 2.5 kg no 5 kg, no 7.5 no 10 kg weight plates. Only 20 and 25 kg plates.

Negative experience: No consideration for carers

We do offer a carer pin whereby, once the member and their carer have met with the gym manager to discuss this, the carer can have their own pin to access the gym alongside the member as long as it has been agreed that the carer will not be using the facilities to workout.
