Positive experience: Been a gym member for about a year and all in all it’s pretty decent but very expensive compared to Pulse 8 in Sindlesham. Jacuzzi is often cold but the worst is the lack of lighting in the car park.. shocking and dangerous… sort it out!

We do have a generator which DM's turn on before it gets dark to ensure there is suitable lighting in the car park. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. Fantastic experience: A great golf club, a great experience for the last couple of years. To point out a member of staff that made the experience of being a member and a player at the club. The club pro Fraser is one of the best club pros I’ve ever met. He’s professional, humble, honest and incredibly friendly. He is a huge asset to the club and deserves all of this praise. he’s always happy to help in any situation on the course and helps to create an amazing atmosphere In the tight knit community of this golf club. thanks mate.
Positive experience: Disappointed in quality of fairways - weeds, lack of grass. Badly needs weed killer and then fertiliser. Clubhouse service and staff excellent
Good Morning Michael. Thank you for your valuable feedback. The Weeds did get sprayed last week and a granular fertilizer was applied at the end of April. We do also have another liquid fertilizer planned for the fairways in June. Negative experience: The restaurant here is shocking. I asked if they had sour dough and the guy behind the counter laughed at me, saying “we only do bread”. That gives you an idea of what you’re dealing with here, a Gym/club that is meant to pride itself on good health, but serves processed meats, poor quality food and laughs at you for wanting better. Don't waste your money signing up to this “club”.
Hi Adam I am deeply sorry for this situation that you had today, I will report the person responsible for this "laugh" which is not acceptable at all. As a company we take every feedback seriously and we won't tollerate behavior like this from staff. Unfortunately we don't provide sourdougnh bread, but only toasts type of bread and buns. Positive experience: The gym is great and staff in there are always so friendly receptionists too however the cleanliness of the pool is awful the sides are always dirty, the managing staff are rude and don’t help, and not worth the price

Negative experience: The food and cleanliness is absolutely shocking for an ‘exclusive club’. All about profit margins; the management needs a huge ego and reality check before more members go elsewhere. Also, told you can no longer bring anyone in for a coffee and food without paying the £18 guest fee. The local pub were more than happy to benefit from our £45 lunch.

Positive experience: The club is OK enough. Wanted to give it a 4 but went back to 3. It is the most convenient pool around us, and with a little baby, it's the only bit of "gym" I can do these days, but there is no pool only membership. They do have a creshe on site, but that is an extra cost on top of the membership. Have always managed to find parking, even at peak times. Have done the gym intro, but never went back, can't really say why, the equipment seems new, very high tech, but it just didn't happen. Have done a number of the spinning / Pilates clases earlier in the summer, when my partner was at home, they were pretty good, the instructors were all great. Now my bedbug is the locker rooms, they are an absolute ICK!!! I can't stand walking around in my bare feet to go to the showers or to the pool, there is a lot of hair and gunk everywhere all the time! When I was doing clases, I wouldn't even pass by the locker room, but that's not an option when using the pool. Also there seems to be something broken every time we go (the boiler, the spinning dryer for swimwear, men's toilets, etc). Food at the restaurant, can't really say, tried it a couple of times, it takes a while to arrive and but it's serviceable enough.

We have recently employed a new cleaning manager and we are still expanding the team to ensure we maintain the high standards of cleaning that our members expect. Negative experience: I have been a member for 8+ yrs and unfortunately this is NO longer a family focused club and the management has lacked the courage to stand up to rude and arrogant senior members who don't want kids and families in the club. Shame.

Negative experience: The staff are way below standard so much so that the place isn’t worth a visit. If you want to play golf I advise you to stay away from this pathetic place. The gym is by far the worst thing about the place especially the gym manager.

We invest heavily in the training and support for our staff and firmly believe in the premium quality of our team. As do many of our members who regularly compliment the team. Our golf course is widely known for its excellent condition, even given the weather challenges in the off season our golf members continuously praise the efforts of our greenkeepers for consistently improving playing conditions. Finally, having recently undergone a £500k refurbishment of the gym, it is one of the biggest drawcards to our club to have such a high spec and luxury gym. Negative experience: Trying to book a class is like trying to win the lottery. The booking system is very frustrating. There are too many members trying to book the same classes. Maximum size class 21.

Positive experience: It's a well manicured golf course and a good challenge off the whites especially. If you don't like bunkers this is not a course for you ... lots of bunkers! And the are needed because the terrain does not offer features for the course to use. The bunker sand needs to be more consistent though...especially because they are a key feature of this golf course.
Negative experience: Absolutely filthy cleaner spends most of the time doing anything but keeping the ladies changing room clean. My friend and I Helped an old lady who slipped today due to the wet floor. Called reception twice regarding wet dangerous floor and lots of hairs in the showers. Toilet have toilet seats that dont even fit and I wont go too much into what has been seen but staff really really to pull their socks up ! Tiles are broken in the swimming pool which is health and safety hazard and the sauna is just in and out of conciousness. Food in cafe not uptostandard ! Have been told on several occassion that the manager Hayley will be calling for update but this has not happened and this was promised last month! Trust issues now my family and I have demanded a partial refund and will be refering them to environmental health services and trading standards. Will also be naming and shaming them with uptodate pictures of problems.......on social media.
Good Morning Aisha, I apologise for the delay in responding to you - this is the first I have seen or heard of your concerns. I was going to give you a call, however I could not find you on our system to locate your number? I do appreciate your frustration, so in response to your points; Our female day cleaner does hourly checks of the ladies changing rooms when she is in, however she only does 30 hours per week. I am recruiting for another female day cleaner to cover the additional hours, but I have unfortunately had very few responses. So, I also do as many checks / cleaning as possible myself, in the changing rooms as I am committed to maintaining high cleaning standards. I am working hard to improve these standards. The maintenance team have scheduled in to fix the pool tiles this week and regarding the sauna, I assume you mean the temperature? When this was first inspected by the contractor, we were advised that only 6 of the heating elements needed to be replaced. This was done, only to find that it wasn't sufficient and the other 6 also need to be replaced. This has also been booked and due to be done this week. I am in the Club all week if you would like to meet and discuss? My hours are generally 8am to 4pm, but please do let me know what works for you. Kind regards, Hayley

Fantastic experience: Fantastic GC, great facilities and friendly staff, a tough test for your average golfer from the whitetees.
Negative experience: Love the gym but the restaurant food is shocking. I keep giving them a second chance. I ordered the smashed avocado on a bagel looking forward.to it. Came out sliced avocado unseasoned on a cold dry bagel cut in half. I couldn’t even eat it. So disappointing for a quality health club

Fantastic experience: An amazing Health Club and Spa. Having recently joined the Club, myself and a friend decided to have a pampering day at the Aura Spa. Wow what an amazing experience. Couldn’t praise the staff enough! Between us we did 9 treatments and were expertly taken care of by 3 of the lovely ladies Megan, Annie and Diane. What a professional set up, couldn’t give enough praise and we have already booked our next visit. If you haven’t been already I would whole heartedly recommending taking a look!!! Huge thanks for a great day.

Negative experience: Very cold pools, the children can't swim for long before they are shivering. They also can't swim before 11am at the weekend as there are lessons in the training pool and no under 16s allowed in the main pool. Such a shame. Not v family friendly.
Negative experience: Beware, they will try to rip you off. I was a member for several years and then left. Enquired about rejoining recently but was then unable to follow through with this due to illness and didn’t complete the paperwork. They forged my signature on a direct debit form and took two months subs from my account. My bank has refunded the money. The gym has yet to apologise. Poor customer service, to say the least.
Negative experience: Too expensive. I just need pool access - nothing more and they won't adapt to a customer requirement. I'm not the only person requiring this.

Positive experience: Course in good condition throughout. Greens were running well and true. Bunkers all over the place but consistent and not too punishing. All in all a great game of golf and a nice clubhouse for afters. Staff and members all very welcoming.

Negative experience: The staff do not value their members. They have a new 'promotion' on every week just to get more members but they do not care about the members they actually have. I don't believe anyone has ever paid a joining fee as they are constantly advertising 'NO JOINING FEE' The changing rooms are very grubby and old fashioned. The showers are always clogged with hair, children running around everywhere screaming - not very relaxing at all. The hairdryers are the cheapest and nastiest things I have ever seen. The spin bikes are so rusty they leave marks on your trainers that cannot be removed. The gym equipment/ lockers frequently have out of order signs on them. All they care about is money and numbers but the club does not live up to expectation. AVOID!!!!!

Negative experience: I have been a loyal member of this club for the past 7 years and the staff and fellow members make this club a fantastic place to be. However I cannot help but notice in the past year the staff that I have grown to know very well are not valued or taken seriously. It saddens me to think that a club of such wealth doesn't mirror there profit and respect towards their staff. I have therefore decided to leave and join somewhere that will worship the people that make it the place that it is.
