Fantastic experience: Good facilities (gym and swimming) for keeping fit.

Negative experience: Loved a morning swim but it's impossible to swim whilst people are walking the pool in group's or standing talking in a group

Fantastic experience: My son dies his swimming class there and it is really good. The centre is well set out very clean and tidy with alot of amenities

Negative experience: The fact you can’t speak to them on the phone is so jarring. It’s ridiculous for 2024

Positive experience: Normal council run leisure centre. Very small gym but nice pool and fairly large changing rooms. Reception staff are lovely but lifeguards can sometimes be a bit stand off ish, and the female poolside toilets often smell of urine. I still continue coming so can't be too bad.

Positive experience: My 9 year old has swimming here every week, the instructors are great with the kids. There's also a kickboxing club upstairs that he also loves, agian the instructors are brilliant. I can highly recommend it,!

Positive experience: Had accident there slipped over on slippery tiles broke my ankle ,don't know if l will return a little nervous still got boot on after 10 weeks effected my confidence.

Negative experience: We swam in the deep end last week, booked again for same day and time however this week we were not allowed. Stage 4 deep end swimming lessons but still can't go in the deep end, have now cancelled lessons.

Negative experience: Swimming session on a Monday morning, awful stench in changing rooms, reported this to reception and it was said to be the drains because of heavy rain. Health Spa hasn't been in use for weeks / month no yet known resolve.?

Fantastic experience: What a great experience. Water was lovely and warm in the baby pool. The staff were so kind and helpful. The teacher John was great in the preschool swim session.

Fantastic experience: I have been there when I was a kid when the old oit side pool what there but its still good the staff are still nice its a good place to go for a chill swim and the gym its small but it feels good u soupd go take a look around cuss why not its not like u going to lose eneythink

Negative experience: Id put 0 stars if i could plsce is an abslute dump health suite changing room and the health suite itself the dirtiest place can tell it never gets cleaned rotten floors and ceilings dirt everywhere some inspector needs to see it get the filthy cleaners to acually do some work its bad never going again

Positive experience: Love attending classes up in the studio but the health suite is horrible, only been in once a few weeks ago, sauna wasn't working and hadn't been for several weeks apparently, didn't stay in the steam room because it smelt like mouldy mops. Definately won't be returning, health suite at Southglade is far cleaner and better laid out.

Fantastic experience: We've hsed their facilities before. We booked and the pool was closed because of too few staff. Our 3 year old daughter was distraught. Ange behind the counter, sorted us out with a pool at a nearby swimming centre, and transferred our booking. She was really helpful. Great facilities when open helpful staff when not ill :p

Fantastic experience: I may be biased because I teach there but Ken Martin has a great community feel about it. The classes there are great.

Fantastic experience: Nice relaxed atmosphere & great staff. I’m not the brightest bulb at the light show & I dropped one of my AirPods inside the power plate and they got it back for me against all odds lol! Will be using this gymnasium regularly.

Negative experience: Good place to swim and gym as and when booking online is available. Isnt many days in advance so it's a case of what is there. Gets easily packed and there isnt anything left to book -swimming. I pay £30 a month and the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi are all shut off and I am never able to get booked it.

Fantastic experience: My first time back to the Gym since February - everything is clean and there are wipes for cleaning equipment and everything is spaced out. Booking on the app is simple, you can have 75 minute sessions. Staff are great as always.

Fantastic experience: My son had his first swimming lesson today after many months on the waiting list. The swimming instructor was fantastic, she got all the kids interested right from the start. She made the lessons fun and my son learnt so much in his first session and can't wait to go back again.

Negative experience: As a competetive swimmer I have seen a lot of pools. I regularly train here and unfortunately I think its one of the worst I've been to. The pool is too hot and dirty. The toilets smell and when they are being cleaned the chemicals are so strong it often affects our training set. However, the worst point is the attitude of some staff. They are rude and aggressive (one female member in particular). I understand turn around want to be quick but there is no need to be rude. I don't like leaving negative reviews and based on reading other people review of the gym it doesn't seem to bad but i cannot comment on what I don't use.

Positive experience: Great council facility, although there is a variance between all centres with sauna varying from 70deg C = Ken Martin to Southglade 95deg C So if this centre variance could be escalated and standardised

Fantastic experience: Just joined the gym here and swimming, use to go a few years ago but this is much improved. The gym is much more modern and spacious and the staff are wonderful.
