Positive experience: Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is walking distance to city centre, train and bus station. The breakfast was ok, apart from the loaf of bread being frozen in the middle.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fabulous hotel, room was lovely and clean, the lady on reception was so lovely and friendly and the breakfast was lovely also plenty of choice. Great location aswell down the little back lane to the town centre.

Negative experience: Hotel is a strange one for me. Walking across a dual carriageway after having to park in a multi storey carpark across the street was just weird. There with work colleagues, bar came alive but late at night. Colleagues on 4th floor were complaining of road noise. Really not one I will head back to. Positives: the staff.
Positive experience: Good hotel and dedicated staff but difficult location. You will be lucky to avoid any traffic fines in the vicinity or a parking spot in their car park even with £20 charge.
Positive experience: Very friendly reception, good parking, room good but no real view but didn't go for that, bathroom slightly dated but fine. Breakfast ample but luke warm food, tray lids always left open and only mild heat in food trays. Plenty of choice though and friendly staff. Lifts very good, safe and secure hotel with requiring room card to operate lifts. All in all very good, just off main square, a little club music noise at night.
Fantastic experience: Absolutely could not recommend this hotel enough. The rooms are spotlessly clean, spacious, and everything you need for a relaxed stay away. Staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. Enjoyed a lovely hot buffet breakfast, Great selection for all.
Positive experience: Rooms were great but checking in took far too long. Saturday afternoon and lots checking in and only having 2 of the 3 available terminals to check in was in my opinion a poor first impression of the hotel. Once at the desk the guy was very polite and friendly. Breakfast was good if you forget the part where I left my table with buttered toast, a cup of T and my juice while I went to the self service buffet but when I came back my table was completely empty. The waitress cleared it all up and when I asked her to please replace them told me it was self service. Yes mistakes happen but the toast had not been touched and both the T and juice were full.

Fantastic experience: Great hotel, smart friendly staff. Modern up to date hotel with large rooms with comfortable beds. Large screen tv and good sized bathroom. Best breakfast in the dining area. Buffet style. Full English breakfast with good quality freshly cooked hot food. Or if a light breakfast is your thing there’s a selection of cereals pastries yoghurts and fresh fruit. Fresh coffees of all kinds and a range of other drinks from the drinks machine or try a juice. Car parking available on site pre booking required. Close to the shops, bars and venues. We r eally enjoyed our stay here.
Positive experience: Staff on my stay were polite but very awkward and stiff ♀️ Security on the doors were much more warm and welcoming. Overall, the stay was very nice, clean and comfortable, and I'd stay again.
Fantastic experience: Great hotel, excellent location and very quiet to set it’s close to local clubs. Friendly fun staff and a cool vibe. We had the upgraded room which was large and had everything yo need. Dont need your towels or bed changing for two nights and they reward you with free wine!!! Winner

Positive experience: Checking in was messy. They had my booking in a random name, which we eventually managed to get sorted. The superior room was nothing special, but clean and comfortable. The night security were rude! Not worth a stay for the price.

Positive experience: Rooms were good and clean, bed comfortable. Parking is in an underground car park beneath the hotel charged at £20, its a bit tight but not that bad, there were 4x4s parked down there. Staff were friendly and location for the City Centre bars etc is perfect.

Negative experience: Booked in for one night. Receptionist had a very strong accent I couldn't understand her. We were woken up at 1.30am asking if we had ordered pizza. The room was cold The pillows we're flat Underground car park at £20 a night was a bit expensive for guest. I wouldn't stay there again.

Positive experience: Great hotel nice fresh look as you walk in. Nice polite staff were always on hand. The twin room was large and spacious, with a nice view of Nottingham from the 10th floor. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was very nice with enough room for your needs. We ordered room service and were disappointed that the stuffed crust pizza did not have a stuffed crust! There was also a crack on the marble counter in the bathroom. The heating is controlled centrally due to the energy crisis so of you like it a bit cozier bring a jumper. All on all this was a lovely stay. Not far from all of the local amenities and attractions. Very reasonably priced too. I'll definitely be back again. It's great if you are going to Rock City or The Junction.

Positive experience: Having stayed in various hotel chains of a similar calibre, there is a certain expectation when booking an Executive Room. When compared with Leonardo/Novotel/Jurys Inn etc. the executive room at Park Plaza was a little underwhelming. The bed was delightful and the floor space was quite generous. However, the complimentary items and facilities within the room were a bit lacking. Especially when compared with similar competing chains. I would say the executive room offering here needs a little improvement. Nespresso coffee machines, daily newspapers etc. - even the little extras that are included in the room such as the bottled water weren't replenished on the second night of our stay which is a bit of a letdown. At the moment it's indistinguishable from the superior room apart from being a little bit bigger and a little bit pricier. The staff and location are great and I'm sure it's a fantastic option for other room types.

Positive experience: The room was a lot smaller than i anticipated (even for a city centre hotel) literally fits the queen size bed, perhaps my research could have been better! Room was so cold and took a while to get the heating started, to be fair reception did offer to bring a heater which I declined. Breakfast was ok and plentiful. The staff weee really friendly, welcoming and helpful. The route through from the car park to reception could be a bit more welcoming. Fine for what it was.

Fantastic experience: 6th time at this hotel this time for our business Christmas party. Again the stay was fantastic from my arrival being greeted by the reception to the cleanliness of the hotel everything was top notch as always. The holiday period is for sure one of the more pressuring times of the year for hotels but to see Park Plaza meeting the challenge with a positive and effective attitude is a welcome sight. Room was nice and had everything I needed to prepare and recover from our Christmas party, a perfect stay again. Coming back up this week for a 3 day stay so looking forward to my first stay in 2023

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff, rooms very spacious and clean, food in the restaurant was delicious, excellent service and atmosphere, breakfast was great, very good value for money. Not alot of car parking spaces under the hotel, so book in advance
Positive experience: Near centre of Nottingham, comfortable beds. Clean and good sized bath and shower facilities. Rooms have kettle, TV, wi-fi. Both usb and 3-pin plug sockets. Limited parking available, need to request parking in advance. Overall enjoyed our stay.
Negative experience: I paid £161 for 1 night in a double room. On arrival just after 4.30 pm we were greated with a stone cold room. We sat for 30 minutes in our coats and gradually attempted to acclimatise to the freezing temperature. we called reception and were informed the rooms would take 45 minutes to start warming. We got ready and warmed using the shower before leaving to for a reserved restaurant at 7pm. We enjoyed being out of the hotel. On return the room remained cold or rather freezing. It was late so decided to hide in the duvet until morning. We got dressed in the cold went for breakfast in the very hot dining area then checked out. All we missed were the northern lights! Very poor experience and completely unacceptable for the price I paid. I expect compensation.

Negative experience: Front desk refused to allow my Uber eats order to be delivered to the front desk. Lost out on 60Gbp worth of food because I decided to have a shower. Tayla at the front desk had a smug look on her face as she tried to deny me the name of the manager to take my verbal complaint. Unbelievable. Hospitality isn't hospitable anymore. Won't be bringing my group back here again.

Positive experience: Never one to complain but! Granted we visited on the 17th December so expected to be cold but definitely not in the room? It was freezing we turned up the heating and not a change I called reception to be told it will come on in about 30 - 40 minutes after you start it going? Surely if you can't check in before 3pm I would expect the heating to be on ready for the customer to come in to a warm room? So we left it set on high and went out expecting it to he warm when we got back, no it wasn't on a plus side the bed was comfy with a nice thick duvet to keep us warm. Reception in the morning said sorry we was cold but sorry we will not be going back.

Fantastic experience: Lovely place. This is just first time to visit in place really luxurious. The room was very silent, the bedroom was very exceptional to sleep! The bathroom is awesome is very posh thought. Awesome stay at this hotel... I can't be expected of this place entire my life! Absolutely wonderful this is Park Plaza hotel... I trust be return booked again. Beautiful place this is so impressive it is... Wow, what I'm loss for words!
Fantastic experience: The staff were great, really helpful and they kindly upgraded our room as it was my birthday. We also had an extended check out time which was great as it saved us moving the car elsewhere in the morning. The bar area was nice, we only had drinks but it all looked good. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was huge and comfortable. Also had a large tv with the option of renting a film to watch. Underground parking is secure and easy to locate. Fantastic experience: Fantastic hotel. Underground bookable parking at a charge. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a hot/cold buffet. The hot food was up some steps, so my family got my hot breakfast. The room was spacious, we had an executive room with a sofa bed. Very clean with smellies, dressing gowns, slippers, etc.
Negative experience: I made a last minute booking over a weekend because there were no other options available. I had to pay £259 for a room that usually costs £59. The two receptionists were rude, they seemed to have absolutely no sense of talking to customers. I had to wait for over an hour and a half after the regular check in time to actually get a key to my room. The bedding had stains on it. Overall, my stay was unpleasant and definitely not the service I expected after paying that hefty amount.

Fantastic experience: This is the 5th time I have stayed at the Park Plaza three times on business and two for personal trips. I usually visit with my northern colleague and I have to say this is one of the most fantastic hotels we have frequented. While the hotel could do with some renovations in some of the bathrooms for example some of the shower heads and shower “doors” “windows” need new seals the rest is perfect for our trips. The real gem for the hotel are the staff both of us have always been received with a smile and on many occasions the staff have gone out of their way to catch up with us between our visits which is something we have never experienced at any other hotel chain we used to go to in the past. Rachel in the bar and the extended team in addition to the whole reception team are fantastic and should be extremely proud of the work they are doing for the Park Plaza. Location is also brilliant being only 10-15 minutes from the station and 5 minutes from Nottingham castle and for us 5 minutes from our office it’s a total Win-Win Expect to see us back for our monthly visits and keep up the great work PP Declan

Negative experience: There’s a club opposite one side of the building which is horrendously loud and closes at 4am. You’ll have very poor quality sleep if they decide to put you on this side! **Response to Park Plaza - I did notify the hotel and am afraid that I was told that there there were no available rooms to move to.

Fantastic experience: Really nice rooms and hospitality was good but fell with serious problems in my kidneys can’t stand and still waiting to get bunk beds looking at the amount of people here since 3/4 pm

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend to stay in this hotel. I was nearly upset I only stay for a night and not any longer Unfortunately I didn’t have more time to spend in Nottigham this time. This hotel is in the centre on Nottingham, close to transport, buses and o ku about 15 min walk from train station. 4 mins walk from the castle. It was quiet, had bed I slept so very good at that after many hotels I have been to over past months due to travelling I felt well rested in the morning finally. I had room with a bath which was clean and just about the right size. I liked the carpets they use as per not being able to carry my yoga mat everywhere I could actually do yoga on the carpet being soft and thick. There is a kettle and coffee/tea in the room and I had a comfy huge chair I could read a book with my legs up and cosy in the evening. I met few members of staff which all of them were smiling, friendly, welcoming and helpful. I can’t remember many names but Lucia, Lorraine, Dylan, then maintenance guy, manager at reception and general manager really made the day nice. Also the male who kindly baked my vegan sausage for the breakfast even though they didn’t have it out. Breakfast was really nice as it tasted fresh and also have plenty of VEGAN options and fruit which not many hotels do. Thank you
Positive experience: My room was OK with OK view. It was a strange corner room but OK. Fridge which is getting less common now and ice machine on each floor. Breakfast was good. Parking under ground but I always seem to end up across the road in the 1970 smelly NCP. Close to centre but not fun driving into the centre of Nottingham.
Negative experience: They Promised a lot on website and failed to deliver. Staff just shrugged their shoulder and couldn’t care less. Extremely rude. I have to begand speak to a few staff before I could get more towels. When I asked for their names, they refused to give me. I was harrassed by their night staff Colin and Keith, who tried to mimick me speaking. I can’t believe what I saw. Had to take my phone out and start filming them before they behaved. Left me shaking. Won’t go back again ever. Their location is not bad but sadly their staff let them down. Seem that they are determined to wind up customers.

Fantastic experience: Hot Hot Hot! Requires a night in the presidential suite! Booked last minute after a quick call with Sophie to confirm air conditioning. Arrived and greeted by Luke, check in was a very pleasant experience and they went out of their way to make it pleasurable. They made a huge fuss of our 3 year old giving him a bag with colouring essentials and even his own key. Breakfast was included with the rate and was really nice. Everything was fresh and tasty and staff couldn’t do enough for us. Our room was lovely with a large seating area, two bathrooms, shower and bath. Work area and a king size bed in another room. They made one of the sofas into a bed for our boy and he really enjoyed it. The only negative was that the curtains didn’t close properly in the seating area so he was up at the crack of dawn. Huge thanks to Luke and Sophie! Excellent customer service, something we haven’t witnessed in a UK hotel for a long time.

Fantastic experience: Friendly and welcoming staff, clean and comfortable rooms, top end toiletries and in room TV. Very good choices for breakfast, really enjoyed my stay for business but would definitely use for a leisure trip. Equally as enjoyable on my second visit this year.

Negative experience: We were travelling to Nottingham for a family event. As I had a very busy call schedule on the Friday we travelled on Thursday and had an extra night in Nottingham. So we were booking 2 nights leaving on Saturday afternoon. As we don't get away that often I thought it would be nice to book a really great room for my wife. Research done, the Park Plaza a Radisson hotel was showing that it had a presidential Suite Penthouse, just 1 in the whole hotel. I booked it directly with Radissson on their site as a surprise for my wife. The booking was confirmed as I thought all was well. When we checked in my wife checked in and got the key cards etc whilst I parked the car. When I got there she said we have a room on the 6th floor! Clearly something had gone amisss or so I thought. We went to the room and it was a large room with a separate bedroom, lounge area etc. But it was on Floor 6. Definately not a Penthouse. When I rang down I was told there is not penthouse and that is the only room of that type in the hotel. I checked the booking confirmation and read the details to the manager - Presidential Suite - Penthouse. I was told that was not possible. SO essentially told I was lying about the booking. At that point I went back to reception and showed the manager the email from Radissson confirming the Presidential Suite - Penthouse booking I was not a happy camper at that point as my plans had been scuppered. After a heated conversation, I agreed to send the email to the manager, but it was clear there was no penthouse going to be forthcoming. The room was OK but tired, TV in the lounge didn't work and we had to get a maintenance person up to fix it. No water in the room etc. None of the things you expect when you book the most expensive room they have in the hotel - Presidential Suite my Ar**. Solid wood headboard no padding, horrible pillows, weird bathroom no his and hers, nothing luxurious at all. When we came to check out they had decided to give us a small discount! No real apology just empty words. Needless to say it will be a cold day for Radisson getting any of my money in future.

Positive experience: Stayed here on 16/05/22 1st time I've stayed at this hotel and last.. Reception staff fine. Got keys to room. How small is room, it was tiny.. Went to make a coffee after a 3hr drive here,only to find no water. Phoned Reception said it would be a few hrs before water back on. So why no bottled water in room? Bathroom was mouldy . Room just looks dated to be fair.. So thought we would get a hrs kip before heading out! No cleaners had better idea and kept us awake by constantly banging doors every 2mins and talking very loudly in corridor... In morning thought we would try breakfast! Big mistake.. food is of the cheapest ingredients.. pastries looked plastic and very bland.. Had a brill time in Nottingham, just wish we had picked a better hotel to stay!!

Fantastic experience: I stayed here throughout the month of March and April 2022. Overall, it was good, convenient and strategically located near the city center. There were many restaurants and groceries just across the road, as well as at the city center. Tram stop is just behind the hotel. The receptionists were helpful and accommodating. Lucia and other girls were simply easy to deal with, whenever I had issues with my room. Maintenance team was quick to respond too. Room was clean and quiet. No major issues encountered during my stay. I also think that the housekeeping lady (Amelia) at the 8th floor was simply amazing in her tasks. The one and only thing that the hotel can work on, is probably on the rewards for the radisson members. It would be nice to see the members getting the treatment as mentioned on their members benefit page.

Negative experience: Really poor. Our room smelt of smoke, so they DOWNGRADED us to a small room. No refund. Didn't make any effort to check in with us. Hotel busy and we were constantly woken up in the early hours with party goers coming in. No security number to call. Staff always seemed too busy. When asked for directions we were sent too completely the wrong location. Complete lack of care. Poor management. Zero engagement. Waste of money.

Positive experience: Decent enough. Clean room, extra large bed. TV worked. Would defo use again when in Notts. Good location. Tesco Express across the road. 2 mins from the town centre. 5-10 minute drive from the train station.

Positive experience: Great rooms and we had a lovely stay! Staff were nice too! They were happy to put our bags in the locker after check-in (they also give you tags as a receipt) so we could visit places without worrying about weight. The location is great. It's short walk from Nottingham central. We didn't have to get public transportation for anything. Budget friendly place too and if I were to nit-pick on something, it would be that we wish the windows were a tad bit cleaner.

Negative experience: The staff removed an insulin pen and sealed needles from the fridge and also removed a toothbrush and toothpaste left in a glass in the bathroom along with their carry case. Essentially, unless you want to die with halitosis, I suggest you stay somewhere else. Room service doesn't allow you to charge to the room so make sure you have means of payment (card only) when they arrive. The food is cheap yet charged at a premium - I think the chicken in the chicken cesar salad came from a packet bought in Tesco. Nottingham is great, this hotel isn't. EDIT: just discovered that a just opened pack of make up remover wipes has also been removed by the housekeeping team who think they can help themselves to my belongings.

Negative experience: The hotel itself is nice. Clean and I was happy with our room. My problem was the management. We had just arrived from a funeral and had someone with us (who wasn’t staying at the hotel) to help us with our bags ect. The manager would not allow this person to come upstairs. He proceeded to block the lift and call the police for absolutely no reason at all. Complete waste of police time! Unfortunately we did get the impression he was racist. When the police arrived nothing was done as there was nothing to the situation and it was left… this did make our stay a stressful one as we were very saddened by our loss and the management at this hotel handled this so insensitively.

Fantastic experience: Had a pleasant relaxing stay. Stayed in the Presidential Suite and it was amazing. Definitely worth it to upgrade. I will be back for a girls weekend in Feb. Also had a nice breakfast with lots to choice from. You can order the main food and its hot.

Negative experience: Terrible Service......nobody cares (especially the General Manager) Had a bad stay a few months ago and they asked me to give them another chance and they would ensure we had a nice room and some 'special ameneties' First they tried to over charge me for the room, then the allocated room was horrible and freezing cold.....and were there any ameneties? No, of course there weren't because the Park Plaza don't care.....and I'm a Gold Card Holder. Will never stay again and will be asking American Express to get my money back. Mis-sold and lied to.

Negative experience: Arrived at the hotel and was immediately demanded to show ID. I offered a photo of my ID, but was told this was not good enough as the receptionist did not believe I was 18. I am 26 and the receptionist had just buzzed me into the carpark. After going back to the car to get my ID, instead of apologising the receptionist gushed for around 3 minutes about my looks which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. If you are goung to insist on a strict ID policy you need to include it on your emails. An appalling welcome from a hotel which claims to be 4 star. Also, the it took at least 5 minutes to get buzzed into the car park every time, so it would have been quicker and cheaper to pay for the NCP carpark across the road.

Fantastic experience: Cannot find any fault. We had a superior double room. Not through snobbery, this was the room available. And very nice, well priced, in the prime town centre position. We paid £18 to stay in their car park under the hotel, and I believe worth every penny. Breakfast was pretty awesome, with mountains of food on offer. I chose the full fat, fried lard, full english, which was amazing. And the staff were all great. Pretty much perfect for us. Enjoy.

Negative experience: I had booked this hotel for one night as my husband and I where visiting friends in Nottingham. The staff where friendly and courteous and the location was great. We where so disappointed with the room. It was freezing and tiny with barely any room to move. The bath was dated and has a big stain. The hotel charged £235 for this room. I have had a better experience in standard budget hotel.

Fantastic experience: Slight blip as the TV wasn't working, but rectified very quickly. The rooms are lovely and made extra special for my birthday with balloons and towel art. Honestly can't fault it and will deffo come back to visit the daughter at uni.

Positive experience: Lots of potential, just lots of oddities. Beds not well made. Fridge not working. Bedside lights wired back to front (my switch controling light over other bed and vice versa). Heated mirror fine for me at 5' 8", but no good for 5' 3" mum.

Positive experience: Hmmmmm. Some good some not. Location was excellent, breakfast was nice and staff were helpful & polite. The, room was very basic and very run down. More like a scruffy travel lodge with a slightly higher price tag.

Positive experience: Stayed in the Presidential suite with my wife and 7-year old daughter - nice for the adults to have their own room whilst our youngest made use of the sofa bed in the lounge. +'s: - Room was very nice and well cleaned... not as big as the Presidential suite at Park Plaza Westminster London, but still fairly spacious (and more reasonably priced). - Check-in was quick and painless, and the welcome-note in our room was a nice touch. -'s: - The hotel had clearly made efforts to soundproof and insulate our room from the noise outside... the reason why becomes apparent when the night club opposite kicks off in the early evening, and ceases activities in the early hours, and the sound throughout is still very much audible. Quality of sleep that Saturday night was horrendous. - Lack of in-room breakfast... with a rate of £300+ a night for our suite, the inflexibility here is unforgivable considering you can order a pizza to your room, but not with breakfast according to the in-room dining team. - The breakfast downstairs was reasonable, but not the self-serve buffet experience we were hoping for and thus the service and experience was a little slow - Shower was poor... low pressure, and a cheap single control to manipulate flow rate and temperature. Suggestions: - Put double yellow lines opposite the entrance to the hotel parking shuttered entrance... the morons that park opposite made turning my barge into the car park challenging (like that Austin Powers golf-buggy scene) - Penalise the imbeciles that think its OK to park over two spaces within the hotel parking forcing decent motorists to park elsewhere - yes you, Mr. G-Wagon and Taycan driver.

Positive experience: Went to Chino's Restaurant attached to the Hotel. We have been here several times and always have their Top Taster Menu which never fails to please. Really tasty. Pleasant, competent Staff. It used to be quite dark in there but now the lighting has been changed and is far nicer.

Fantastic experience: Great experience staying here would definitely recommend. Hygiene and cleanliness was fantastic, Park Plaza goes that extra mile to make their guests safe. Check-in and checkout was fast. Lovely in room facilities including Chromecast so I could stream Disney plus. I ordered room service for dinner and the burger was 10/10. Will definitely be looking for a Park Plaza next time I'm planning a trip. Thank you.
Negative experience: Having stayed at many Park Plaza this is not a Park Plaza. The experience and the customer service is appalling. Room 616 is a junior suite and basically you sleep in the lift enjoying the noise. Having flagged this to the staff I get no sympathy. The junior suite is also advertised with nespresso machines and despite having talked to front desk about it no one cares to provide such advertised amenity. Overall do not stay here, go to Doubletree or other hotels.

Negative experience: adding on to the other review, the women at reception also spoke to us in a degrading way as if we were ‘less than her’ when someone then phoned the hotel for us, she was also rude to them. was rude from the minute we arrived and i’m quite glad i didn’t end up having to give any money to this place as it was awful, we were much better when we went down the road to the Travelodge, better staff and value for money

Fantastic experience: Booked a 3 day break. Enjoyed my stay, hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly, room was clean and a bath mat and extra toiletries were provided promptly on request. Nice warm rooms, only issue I had, was the WiFi that played up. Also, close to the shopping center, cabs readily available . Would recommend, and I will definitely stay there again.

Positive experience: Me and my wife stayed here on saturday night. The staff were great and our room was very clean. The only downside to our stay was breakfast we paid £20 for this and to come downstairs to be shown a little area in the lobby that had a small table in the corner which had breakfast items on. We were told to eat it in the lobby or take it to our room. There was luke warm bacon cob...and a selection of things which quite frankly I could of brought from the shop for £5. Like I said the staff were great but if you stay here I would not pay the extra for breakfast.

Positive experience: I absolutely loved the curtains! They were brilliant! Absolutely phenomenal. I couldn’t have wished for better curtains. Really loved them. My daughter Meg and my son Romany loved them too! My uncle Kallum even complimented them! They kept the room dark all day long and really served their purpose in full swing. Very impressed. Positive experience: Staff where very helpful on arrival. Lovely lady on reception. We where in room 205 which was supposed to be a superior room which looks great on the website err not exactly. The furniture was quite dated. Quite shabby and the view from the window was horrible. Ventilation ducts air conditioning pipes and just generally the backs of grotty buildings not a great view of Nottingham not at all 4 star room which I was led to believe l had booked. And certainly not a superior room. Having said all that the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable and the COVID measures where in place and most people where following the guidelines and it felt safe to be there. The breakfast was great and was organised very well be the staff who were very helpful in giving us the information about how the restaurant was working to serve breakfast. The COVID measures again seemed to work and there was nobody seated right next to us. Again there was the odd few who thought the guidance didn’t apply to them. On the whole the food was good and well presented. The chief serving the hot food was helpful although the food was not very hot. But again it was not a great problem. I must admit that at the time I did not raise any of my concerns about the room with the staff as we were only there for 1 night and really didn’t want the hassle or the drama. Maybe in hindsight I should have but l didn’t want to spoil the night for my wife

Positive experience: Stayed for 1 night and the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the room was really clean and covid safe! Lost 1 star because when I got to the room with my friend there was no TV remote. We asked for one which was provided (cleaned and sealed in a bag), however the remote was a bit confusing to use and didn't really work - we couldn't even switch off the TV, so ended up having to unplug it from the back. In the morning I also realised that there was a leak in the sealant for the shower, which meant that we ended up with a bit of a puddle in the bathroom.
