Positive experience: Great gym, nice setup.

Fantastic experience: Relatively quiet which is great as your not waiting 3 hours on bits of equipment like the budget gyms. Gym is super clean and staff are always on hand to help. Great atmosphere in club.

Fantastic experience: This is a really welcoming gym. The staff are all lovely and gym is really clean. First gym that I’ve been to where I didn’t feel intimidated. Absolutely recommend this gym.

Negative experience: The way this gym works is awful. I had contacted the team to cancel my membership as I didn’t enjoy the gym, then they said they will contact the owner and never got back to me, then I noticed payments leaving my account, I spoke to the manager Josh who was very rude over the phone and he told me it was impossible to cancel, this is shocking as it’s called Anytime fitness but you can’t even cancel it at Anytime. I was never told by staff that I can’t cancel the membership ( every other gym you can cancel ). They have never got back to me and are threatening to send credit companies after me. This gym is run by con artists. Much better gyms around the area. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Fantastic experience: I have been a member at Anytime Fitness Clarkston for almost two years. The members are all very friendly and I have made a lot of new friends. The coaches run a variety of classes that are fun and enjoyable, suit all levels of fitness and this has given me a good routine in my retirement. They are very helpful and professional, giving advice and encouragement and demonstrating exercises and techniques to bring out the best in their members.

Fantastic experience: Nice, friendly, and knowledgeable staff, who are happy to help. Great selection of equipment, don't need to wait long on equipment either. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with everything at Anytime Fitness, Clarkson. I wouldn't have achieved so much without the help and encouragement of management and staff at the gym. There's a nice crowd of members too and I have got to know quite a few people to talk to when I am there. I feel very safe (COVID) and comfortable here to enjoy my workout and ask questions if I need to. Thanks. Barbara.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of Anytime Fitness in Clarkston for over 2 years now and I have to say, it’s an excellent gym. The gym is small so, if you are training during peak times, it can sometimes be frustrating as you might not be able to get on the machine you want to. I normally train before work which is better for me and the gym is lovely and quiet at that time. On the plus side, as the gym is small, everyone gets to know you so it’s very friendly. The gym is absolutely spotless and the machines are very well maintained (unlike other gyms I’ve been a member of). Overall my experience with this gym has been excellent and I always look forward to my session.

Positive experience: It's an okay gym, but the one gripe I have with it is there seems to be a lack of equipment. During busy hours you'd really be better just not going which when you factor in the price it's not a good thing. I'd argue that if you live nearby and can go whenever you wish then It's suddenly a very attractive option worth the price, but for most not so much. Sadly, I'm stuck in a year contract something I regret now. Here is a pointer, always always ask for a trial. Don't sign up to a year contract until you've used the facility for a few days. I've made the mistake of signing a year contract without using the gym. Something I doubt I can do anything about now.

Negative experience: Mad how future fitness costs £5 less but is 100x better than this dump

Negative experience: Good facilities at the gym but a real shame that when I left the gym tonight to get my bus home one of the PT's (I think her name is Ellie) walks past me and is vaping. Not a good look!!!!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym, open all hours and with amazing staff! Josh was super friendly and quickly got my son up and ready in this local Anytime Fitness gym. All the equipment and classes you could ask for along with round the clock opening. One happy boy

Negative experience: My overall impression is that staff have little respect for their clients. I contacted Anytime Fitness over the phone in October 2022 to cancel my membership and was told that this would be carried out. However, three months later I realised that I was still being charged membership fees. After contacting the gym again (this time via email) I was told that there was no evidence of this conversation taking place and I was not offered a refund. Reading other reviews I see that I am not the first person this has happened to. I formalised my complaint but did not receive a response which felt dismissive. If you want to cancel your membership then I would suggest doing this in writing. Furthermore, I believe that the comparatively high membership fees and predatory contracts do not justify joining this gym. They offer the same services as other gyms such as PureGym which is much cheaper with more reasonable membership requirements.

Fantastic experience: Always a good experience when I'm there, with all the equipment you could need. Also as it says in the name 'Anytime Fitness' it's open 24 hours so access is easy. The team work hard to keep the gym running smoothly, and are always very friendly.

Negative experience: I have cancelled the membership and confirmed by staff that with immediate effect it will be activated. But after few days received message to make the payment, which is shocking and ridiculous. Guys in the Gym does not have any idea what they are doing and not co-operative at all.

Positive experience: £35 a month when there's gyms like GYM GROUP, JD GYMS, and more all for £20 or less a month I don't understand the business motto

Negative experience: Some staff here do not care about your circumstances. I used to go to this gym and I asked to cancel it and they said they would (they didn’t) which they ended up charging me for. Loads of people I know have left this gym because of this. You also have to pay for a fob which you don’t get back the money for.

Fantastic experience: Visited ,and found a small and very friendly gym club . Very good quality gym equipment . New year classes starting soon . Excellent security . No pay as you go but different options , and concession . I have 3 free sessions next week , and I think I will be joining . It is in the town , and is close to shops , public parking and public transport . Definitely worth considering .
