Negative experience: Not clear on website opening times of the pool, it states closes at 6 but this is just for the centre, not good when you've travelled on public transport on a cold wet day only to find its closed!

Positive experience: It is an organised environment. Even though it was a bit far from me, the few times I took my boy for his football game, it was lovely. It is also a clean and neat environment.

Negative experience: Been going swimming for years every morning the last two times I have been I have picked up a viral infection from the pool won't be going back anymore plus the water is always cold ☹

Positive experience: Gym is well equipped, friendly staff and customers. Tiles around the shower by the sauna could do with some mould spray on them.

Fantastic experience: Nice place, clean at reasonable prices!

Positive experience: Went here with a school group for lessons. The staff were amazing and really took care with the children's learning. The facilities were as you would expect in a pool and everyone/thing was kept safe. Just remember to bring your flip flops or sliders if you aren't going into the pool otherwise it is very slippery barefoot!

Negative experience: The right place should be Kirkby Leisure Centre, this is nowhere I wasted a lot of time to navigate

Negative experience: Awful management of the 4G facilities by VOLAIR. Complained numerous times about kids coming on the pitch on bikes and verbally abusing the players. Needing to increase safeguarding levels shouldn’t be the case. No where else to go that isn’t managed by VOLAIR - awful communication. Simple solution to manage the 4G by having security on the gate not even considered …

Fantastic experience: Attended a pulmonary therapy session at the Leisure centre yesterday. Staff attentive, gave good advice and monitored me throughout my activities.

Positive experience: Love this pool the only issue is when the adult swim.is on 1pm-2pm the school kids come in and often take up 2 lanes in the main pool which are supposed ro be for the adult swim ,plus the music is switched off so not really the best relaxing hour which we've paid for with our membership ,many people have complained but it's still the same, noisy, choppy and not enough lanes available for the adult swim

Positive experience: Great gym is not too busy. Some of the machines feel a bit dated, but overall, it is a great place to train

Negative experience: No cafe to get a hot drink. Huge place with lots of football groups and spectators, but the cafe is closed... what a shambles. The 2 stars are for cleanliness outside

Negative experience: So disappointed no respect for disabled people. The lady in the office prefer chatting and laughing.

Negative experience: Absolutely unhelpful lady at the desk! Wanted to sign my family for swimming but morning staffs said something different and afternoon staff different on the top of it, no chair for me to rest as I am disabled , waiting in the queue for nothing and asked to wait longer as swimming class has started and they has to cut in to the line in front of me. Absolutely disgusting!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Visited today to do my tai chi with Howard my personal trainer and the group of friends that I know. Today 22/08/24 went to my tai chi classes and then for a coffee and cake which my friend Jane had made, also bought Howard a mug of tea to repay the favour from a few weeks ago.

Negative experience: Why bother having a phone line when no one ever answers!!! Been trying to call for over three days now!!!

Negative experience: I was sent here as part of a fit for life programme. This is my 5th week and still I havent been shown how to use any equipment. I can only go of an evening and I have yet to see a member of staff present. I have decided to give it a miss and join a proper gym.

Positive experience: Swimming pool for kids is brilliant, But we don't like the fact that some showers are not working for years, toilets have no soap and needs updating. It looks like there is no maintenance staff in whole building...

Positive experience: Facilities are great, everything you would want to either keep or get fit. Friendly helpful staff. Has a fantastic assortment of classes. I particularly enjoy tai chi and pilates. Has good football pitches. Swimming pool and gym are, in my opinion, excellent. The only reason I'm giving a 4 and not a 5 is that I would like to see a bigger coffee bar and, perhaps, a brighter colour scheme in the gym. But I'm nit picking really. I would recommend volair all day long. Very reasonable membership costs. Love the place.

Negative experience: Tried to phone 8 times today and each time the phone was picked up and you can hear laughing then promptly hung up. Totally unprofessional and shows the mentally of the staff employed, if they can't be expected to answer a phone is this the place to send children for swimming lessons ?

Positive experience: As expected from a local authority based leisure centre I go for the baby and toddler lessons with my daughter and the training pool is very up and down with the temperature. Sometimes it's as it should be, sometimes it's too cold for kids. They need to keep on top of it.

Negative experience: Turned up on a Friday evening for a leisurely swim. It was anything BUT leisurely. Children stood in every part of the pool splashing and jumping in . It was not possible to complete a sign length without being splashed in the face or kicked. Absolute chaos!

Negative experience: Good facilities, shame about management, they are very lazy, plenty of members have complained about the no drinking water machine in the gym being turned off, management making excuses, saying they waiting for a new filter since end of lockdown 12th April 3021, that's 4 months now, no drinking water in gym, it's a joke and a accident just waiting to happen with someone collapse with over heating body. Shame on management, but ok taking your membership payments. Health and safety issues here.

Positive experience: First visit and last. Water was not as clear as all the pools l have visited in fact it was murky. Not impressed.
