Our comment from FitFit UK about ARC: Health and Fitness:
ARC: Health and Fitness in Glasgow is a fantastic center for sports enthusiasts and those looking to maintain an active lifestyle. Visitors often commend the courteous reception staff and the very reasonable pricing for the services offered.
The facilities include a spacious and clean court ideal for basketball, with half court options and a good size for scrimmages. The gym is noted for being well-equipped with a variety of machines, although some users suggest that a few of the machines could use an upgrade.
Students and external sports clubs find the center affordable and conveniently located, with classes that cater to all levels. Many appreciate the friendly atmosphere fostered by the staff, who are often described as helpful and accommodating.
While there are some drawbacks, such as occasional early closures which can be frustrating, overall feedback highlights the center as a great place for workouts, offering fantastic value for money.
In summary, ARC: Health and Fitness is a reputable location for anyone in Glasgow seeking a comprehensive sports facility with great community vibes!

ARC: Health and Fitness: Opinions
Positive experience: The reception is courteous. The pricing is very reasonable. The court is clean and not dusty. The basketball hoops are a bit too bouncy... The side wall basketball boards are bouncy too and there is a bit of gap for a layup and not worrying too much to slam against the wall. The half courts sides are decent in size. The mens changing rooms are good and do not smell. (I do not know about the gym, i never used it)
Fantastic experience: Overall good value and great location.
Fantastic experience: Great affordable place to work out with almost all the equipment and amenities.
Negative experience: Staff continuously time and time again close the premises before the set closing time. Today for example Friday 17th May the staff has locked up 1 hour before it was supposed to. Really frustrating seeing as the opening times for this gym are already not that flexible.
Hi Paul, Last admission is an hour before closing. This is stated on our website and at reception areas. Thank you for your feedback.
Positive experience: Good gym
Fantastic experience: After changing the flooring. Amazing court
Fantastic experience: Great gym, nice price and good equipment.
Fantastic experience: Great gym facilities and convenient for uni students.
Positive experience: Spacious court great for scrimmaging
Positive experience: Visited the gym whilst on a business trip. I wasn't sure if it was open to the public or required membership. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Very reasonably priced.
Positive experience: Great place good prices for the public. Some machines need an upgrade but still good
Fantastic experience: Mediocre facilities but wow it's cheap! Can't really complain for the price.
Positive experience: Affordable gym for students. Enough equipment for normal training sessions
Fantastic experience: Great gym when I was last here a few years back. This gym would definitely do way more business if it opened at 5am
Fantastic experience: I've been there recently for activate my membership and found the sraff friendly and nice!
Fantastic experience: Awesome, lively and fun to be!
Fantastic experience: Visited to go to the Sunday skating. Event was well organised with friendly staff, I will definitely be coming back in the future.
Positive experience: Great for a skate
Fantastic experience: Great gym classes are great been coming here for last 12 yrs staff so friendly all willing to help and great location
Fantastic experience: Nice place for covid test!!! For other stuff, I have no idea.
Negative experience: An absolute fortune for room hire and charging the uni's sports club too much. They don't have enough money as it is and they're expected to pay a lot for something that should be given to student sport at a fair and reasonable price.
Positive experience: Staff could be a bit more helpful.
Fantastic experience: Good for external sports clubs.
Fantastic experience: Hafta da bir gün aikido çalışmaya geliyorum. Temiz bir tesis. Güvenlik yardımcı oluyor her zaman.
Positive experience: Mal einen etwas anderen Schnupperkurs besucht
Fantastic experience: Staff are always helpful & membership prices are first class.
Fantastic experience: Best place ever losing weight all the time
Positive experience: Standard sports hall
Fantastic experience: Really helpful staff
Fantastic experience: Great gym, cheap as chips and great facilities. Cleaning of the showers and general gym has declined since the uni made most cleaners redundant...but it is still worth the money.
Positive experience: A fine establishment
Positive experience: Very big facilities with a large variety of sports. I only used the gym and the machines on first floor were new and sound, enough variety. I could use it as one off paying less than £5
Positive experience: Staff are very nice and accomodatable
Fantastic experience: Great location for a gym and good equipments. Training with personal trainer Mark Jamieson is brilliant. Grab him if you get his availability
Positive experience: Decent place for workout
Fantastic experience: Come here a lot for roller derby events. Love it.
Positive experience: Good place to workout
Negative experience: I went here to watch my wife play a roller derby game. The place looks to have reasonable facilities plus the hall that the match was played in. The staff i encountered were pretty friendly too. Downsides? No dedicated parking and zero baby changing facilities in the building, I had to change my son on a chair in the disabled toilets
Positive experience: Nice place...
Positive experience: Very good location in glasgow, 2 floors , running many different sport classes.
Positive experience: Good facilities
Fantastic experience: Great place in a Central location. Close to train and bus services plus there's plenty of parking nearby which is free on Sundays. Love the Sunday morning roller skating/rollerblading sessions there from 10:30-13:00. Suitable for all levels and instruction and skate hire available too.
Positive experience: Reasonably priced with a good-enough quiet gym and a range of classes (spin, yoga, Pilates). I hear quality of classes can be variable. Probably best for anyone looking to squeeze in some more exercise before/after work or at lunchtimes. Wouldn't be my first choice for leisure.
Negative experience: Dont expect much from the gym; for cardio etc its well equipped, the gym however is poorly maintained and equipped; odd plates everywhere and bars are all in need of TLC. Ok for a one off if needed.
Fantastic experience: Excellent fitness center, highly recommended.
Positive experience: Gym is well equipped and clean but there's a problem that has been bothering me since last year: IT'S FREEZING
Fantastic experience: Try Skating every Sunday 10.00 till 13.00 Fantastic club, well worth giving it a go!
Negative experience: Poor gym facilities for the cost. Not worth it. Xercise4less nearby has better and more equipment at a lower monthly cost.
Fantastic experience: Really good gym
Fantastic experience: Really good training facility for a whole range of athletes.
