Fantastic experience: I popped in for a swim while visiting family in Scarborough and really enjoyed it. The pool is lovely, with wide lanes and decent changing facilities. The staff are friendly too.

Negative experience: This is for the gym - Fairly large work-out area. They never seem to have the air conditioning on, but the receptionist(s) have the heating on full blast. Some of the equipment is always out of order. The weights machines are rusty and they’ve written on them in tippex? Can you not afford decent equipment? Treadmills are dated and poor quality. Clear nepotism in the recruitment, and massively over-staffed. Sort it out.

Fantastic experience: Everyone Active is a big, modern, well equipped gym with good facilities. It is central to Scarborough and has a range of affordable membership schemes available and plenty of activity classes to keep members motivated. Easily walkable, but plenty of free parking places are also available, along with personal training sessions.

Fantastic experience: A good venue with lots of different physical activities that can be done ie gym pool badminton etc freindly and helpful staff

Fantastic experience: Great local sports centre. Got everything. Friendly staff and Nina on reception, so pleasantly, polite and very always helpful.

Positive experience: Plenty of amenities, and at 14:30 it was fairly quiet

Positive experience: Today we took our baby swimming for the first time. The pool was great, not too busy for a fully booked session either. The family changing facilities were really useful, one had a baby changing table (with strap) and the other had a plastic cot in. My only criticism is the temperature of the pool, our little one started to beocme blue after around 10 minutes. Perhaps if the pool was warmer we would have been able to stay longer.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic swimming pool. I love taking my two young boys to the sensory swim which makes for a really good swim session. There are coloured lights and images on the walls. The changing area is exceptionally clean which I think shows the dedication of the staff in making it all good customer experience. Usually there's a couple of buckets of swim toys and floats which my children love to play with and that's all that's really needed for them to enjoy it all.

Negative experience: The pool is mainly used for swimming lessons and other money making activities. The times that the general public are permitted to swim are very limited. Very few of the showers have functioned as they should for a number of months and trying to get through the sketchy electronic gate at the entrance can be a challenge. Even the carpark is poorly designed. None of the staff seem to care about these issues and it feels as though majority of them are only working there in order to save cash to go on a gap year. Having had so many disappointing experiences at 'everyone active' I now drive to leisure world in Bridlington where everything is better organised with staff that seem much more engaged, and they have waterslides!

Positive experience: Wish sorted out the fornt gate for wheelchair user as need scanned on front gate as make easy for us get thorough.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing place, with pools, gym, soft area, many things to do here. Parking is very big and free as well. staff is very friendly,polite. all areas is Absolutely clean at high standards. Thank you so much for such a good opportunity ❤️

Positive experience: Very impressive fitness facility

Positive experience: nice gym, but however staff should do a bit better to monitor the gym, there are people on certain machines just sitting on their phones not doing anything, taking machines for 30mins when other people would like to use them too.

Negative experience: Went swimming yesterday was all well went today for 2 hours worst experience of my life no care for kids with special needs v rude was going to do my daughters birthday party there not no more will stick to loftus and saltburn v disappointed,

Positive experience: Very clean. Changing area (for pool) is very tidy with ample lockers at hand. The young lady on the desk was very helpful and friendly. This was our first visit so a bit of help was very much appreciated. I needed to get my stepson a pair of goggles for swimming, the choice of styles and age groups was adequate, they were unfortunately very expensive. I had booked a family swim session which the website informed me would take place in the ‘splash pool’ now for those of us who are not local and have never been before maybe a little explanation would have helped me decide if I’d wanted that or not. The splash pool is wonderful, for parents and very young ones, with a deep end of less than 1 meter, however, for me and our 10 year old is wasn’t ideal, however like I say the place was clean and the staff were very helpful, I just wish they’d explained the pool situation better. The main pool was being used for Lane swimming. My stepson still enjoyed his swim, I just wish I had more. The centre as a whole looks very nice indeed with lots of parking onsite. I would return I’d just check what pool I’d be using. I suppose the morale to this review is, read what your booking properly.

Positive experience: I actually love this centre HOWEVER I can not stand to watch Everyone Active TV for one second longer! It provides zero information or entertainment, and I really wish they would stop showing it all day every day x Besides this though, I really like the gym and the pool is also great! I do wish they had more lane swims though.

Negative experience: I went here on Saturday and I caught a bug was feeling sick and still Ill nearly a week later waste of time and money , I bet the don't even clean the pool out properly will not be going here again unless I want some sick pay disgusting

Positive experience: Clean and organised nothing to write home about but everything you want in your local pool

Positive experience: Not too impressed with this place. Swimming times are ignored as instructors always run over the class before. The public wear shoes around the pool, and so there's regularly mud around the changing rooms and to the pool. Showers rarely work, either at all, or only for very short stints e.g. 10s. Rules seem to be dependent on who's working. Some will allow you to use accessories in the pool, others won't. It's run like a volunteer club, rather than a subscription service we pay for.

Negative experience: They are attempting to rip people off by not honouring swimming lessons paid for 2 months in advance which they force you to do in the first place anyone who cancelled after 01/12/20 will be owed a refund. On top of that the only reason I cancelled was because I taught my own child to swim on his own in 2 hours which they couldn't manage in over 50 hours of lessons.

Negative experience: Found it extremely difficult to work through the membership stuff, when only wanted to register & go for a swim. Tried to call & always busy, can’t request a call back. Also on line chat unavailable!! Very frustrating!

Positive experience: Great place for little unwinding, either with kids ,gym or getting back into fitness. Y do need to book online, there are disabled facilities , if y need any help just ask the staff who always pleasant and accommodating. Parking is not a problem . Great place to go .

Fantastic experience: The place has a lot of equipments to accommodate all type of users. While there are a couple missing I would say that they aren't a deal breaker. The staff is really nice, the trainers help you when you need. The facility is really nice in general. The hygiene is on point which is what matters in general. 5 out of 5 from me

Fantastic experience: Love this place, great facilities that are always clean, the gym has plenty in it and there's always a personal trainer around if you need any help... In fact one trainer called Levi was explaining about how each persons goals and aims are different, so no two persons private sessions are the same - i was so impressed with her knowledge that I have offered my own staff memberships to Everyone Active!

Positive experience: The gym is great. Very well equipped but gets very busy on weekdays between 5pm and 9pm. Expect to queue for weights. The air con in the men's dry changing rooms has been broken for about a year and the temperature in there often hits around 30 degrees Celsius and is very humid. Someone thought it was a good idea to install hand dryers in there to be used as hair dryers which makes drying your hair after a shower very awkward. The staff in the gym are always very helpful.

Fantastic experience: A great venue! I use it mostly for an enjoyable swim, usually 3times a week. Staff & lifeguards etc are all very good & helpful too.

Negative experience: Poor. Paid for lane swimming and three quarters of the pool were booked out. Gave up after 25 minutes as there was no room to swim. Requested a refund. I was told the systems were down and they would be in touch.

Negative experience: I only have experience of the swimming lessons for the children. And I have to say I'm not impressed The pool is much nicer as are the changing rooms (than the old indoor pool) My issue is you pay for half an hour swimming lesson It takes at least 5 minutes to get all6the children ticked on their ipad. Plus they are always paying attention to ipad as opposed to the kids learning to swim. The classes are to many on average 8 plus children. My 6 year old spends most of the time bored standing on the side of the pool. He and all the others are lucky to get 2 or 3 half lengths of any form of swimming. Very dissapionting. I will cancel tonight not worth the money .

Negative experience: just been ringing the reception at scarborough sports village, and how frustrating!!! 4 times no answer. i wanted to know if the swimming pool was open as it was closed monday because of no chemicals.. WHENi finnaly got thro, i got my answer. open. my husband and i have been attending 3 mornings a week at 7am since it was open. i cannot understand why something like this sports village can be built, and then cut back on staff. unbelievable. many a time there is never anyone on reception. dont get me wrong the the staff what is working are very pleasant and helpfull, its not them i have the problem with,but my question is, why build a wonderfull sports village, and then do not staff it properly.

Positive experience: Good value for money if using all it has to offer, unfortunately nuts and bolts seem to work loose in the gym area and they aren't checked regularly enough.

Positive experience: This place has not been open very long. Parking is free. Seems to have a good selection of activities to try at different times and days. You are best calling them to check times for such as swimming to avoid disapointment as there seems to be certain clubs,schools and other bookings using the pool. Seems very clean and tidy,quite helpful staff. Worth a look!
