Positive experience: Been starting to use the squash courts here as live locally and try and avoid driving to my club in Exeter all the time. Sometimes I want to have a solo hit and practise but the system enables someone to book on a court with you! The costs are per person so I do not want to book two places just for me. They are also the most expensive squash courts in the uk at £11.60 for 40 mins (just research it) and not in the best condition. Squash is on its way up, being in 2028 olympics. Councils need to encourage greater use and charge less - per court, not per person. Staff are extra friendly and the lady could see I was aggrieved but was lovely. It’s the management I’m a little aggrieved at. Wrote a long email back a few months to TDC, wasn’t even acknowledged, not good customer care from TDC. Might carry on using but will probably drive to Exeter as no cost saving despite living in Dawlish. What a shame that they don’t take advice from squash gov bodies to grow this sport! and racketball too which is a popular sport amongst the older generation, could be very popular here if they made more effort. No squash/racketball ladders; no competitions; no come and try sessions; nothing but dark, cramped hallway and empty courts! Charging more is not the answer; less is more and create greater demand!!!

Fantastic experience: Been going to this gym since I was 14, staff always been helpful and friendly. Equipment has never been top of the range but has most things you could want. Plenty of free weights and cardio. Can be a little crowded at peak times but what gym isn't? Shame prices keep rising but other than that no complaints.

Positive experience: The usual gym session. I don't like the music and I don't know how to use some machines, so I avoid them. The Weights room is just used by men. I don't know how to arrange the sauna

Negative experience: It seems mental to ask for £30 just to carry out a gym induction. Most places don't ask for this. Even joining fees are rarely this high.

Positive experience: Excellent staff and instructors. Love the classes,but could do with combat or equivalent. Also, the poor effort on updating the flooring in the main hall - useless. Cannot compare to Dawlish. Absolute waste of cash. Fix this and the stars go up.
