Fantastic experience: Best gym in Coventry, friendly staff

Negative experience: Anyone who’s leaving a rating over 1 star is either an employee or a friend of them. By far the worst gym in Coventry. No respect for the weights or the environment so why should the users respect it. There’s weights lying around the floor and hiding in all sorts of places. Dumbbells are incorrectly marked or missing their numbers so you don’t know what weight you’re pushing. Gym is a complete mess, again, with plates and dumbbells lying in all sorts of places. The benches are made for children and look like they’ve been designed for new born babies. Gym isn’t maintained or looked after, I used to train at this gym 5+ years ago, but I can now realise how much worse it’s gone. Also, for those reviews stating that the sauna & steam room is great….is a liar, there is no sauna or steam room, it’s just a changing room now. Only good thing about the gym is the boxing bags and ring. Do not train at this gym if your focus is purely weights. Further, this gym is so crowded even when it’s empty, no space to do anything. Good luck to those who use it!

Fantastic experience: I visited Progym today for the first time and it really did exceed expectations, the staff on reception were very helpful and friendly and let me have my first session for free (bonus), I then changed in the changing area which is fully equiped with showers,toilets and enough private space to change. Firstly I familiarised myself with the weights and resistance machines which were all practically brilliant in respect of satisfaction and results of a good workout,I then went upstairs and did some bag work at which point I knew this was the gym for me, if you are looking for real results and satisfaction from your gym with access to bags, p.t's weights, want to learn to box and learn martial arts look no further than here..Progym.

Fantastic experience: Although the gym may not be the most looked after it has all the equipment you need. Plenty of weights and upstairs boxing area with around 10 boxing bags,cardio area and has its own ring. Good value for money.

Negative experience: Bad attitude gym from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out. My wife and myself went to have a look around and its full perverts who don't speak English and stare, was made to feel uncomfortable from the moment we got to the front door to the moment we left. Dirty smelly sweaty gym with no rules hygiene either
