Negative experience: Thursday 31st October - pool cold, sauna and steam room not working - very poor experience.Sat. 2nd Nov - steam room still not working!

Fantastic experience: Joined end of September 2023. Classes are really good as is the wet side . It is very clean and the cafe serves excellent coffee and food. Staff are friendly.

Fantastic experience: All the new facilities in the gym are brilliant, and they've introduced a lot more classes in the studios and on the gym floor. Body Combat on a Saturday morning is still the best class, for me, and the spin classes are also excellent. The staff in the cafe are helpful and polite, even when it's extremely busy, and the coffee machine has recently been replaced, so great coffee. If you want to get fit and then chill out in the pool area or the cafe, it's all there.

Fantastic experience: I came in for a quick coffee and was greeted by a young man behind the bar named Ruaridh who still made me a lovely coffee even a couple minutes after closing. Great experience and great coffee will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: Today i was having an awful day and i walked into the nuffield and i got served by two young boys, I believe their names are Jayden and Ruaridh. They were absolutely amazing, and made myself a cracking coffee. Lets just say, those boys lifted my mood and i left the nuffield with the biggest smile on my face.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic health club facilties. Friendly staff. We ha e been members since opened as esporta in dec2000. Kids did taekwondo classes for 10 years. Use gym amd classes. Spa great and quiet but nice and warm too for kids pool. Jacuzzis and spas all included. Decent size pool. I play golf very tough course but tee times always available even on medals. 20 years gone from 28 hdcp to 14 so you get better. Good pro alan

Positive experience: Gym has excellent equipment. Pool is good, if a little cramped if there's more than a couple of people in the swim lane. Men's changing could do with an upgrade as could the cafe.

Fantastic experience: Nice clean gym, busybut not overcrowded. The poolside is fab, staff are lovely yes you pay extra but the service is worth it

Fantastic experience: Swimming pools here are great there's also spa a cafe in a golf course there is also an amazing gym. In the swimming area there is also lanes in a hot tub. Staff in the reception always kind and are always there to help you. They do swimming lessons as well if you're looking for something like that.

Positive experience: It is a good size club with plenty of classes and equipment. Sadly some area are in need of investment. Pool side hot tubs and steam room need refurbishment and the pool ceiling has tiles missing that have been missing for as long as I can remember.

Negative experience: Joined here when my wife had a knee op with Nuffield Health on my family health insurance. As part of their patient recovery programe, Nuffield offer the patient and their spouse 4 free months gym membership. The idea being that you're more likely to use the gym if you go together plus it's an intro to the club and you might join once the free intro period is up. Well, we both recieved one free month right after the op. but sadly the other 3 free months didn't materialise until after a gap of 6 weeks of being bounced around the gym's management who didn't seem to understand how the patient recovery package works. I'm convince this is because they used to be under different ownership and hadn't got their heads around the Nuffield's heath orientated business model. My wife eventually got the additional 3 months but mine never materialised but I paid to join anyway so that we could go together. The day after I exdended my membership, I recieved a call from one of their managers asking if I'd like to extend my membership - talk about the left hand not knowing what the right is doing! Later that same day I got stopped at the barrier for a photo, again! I don't get why they couldn't use the photo they took when I joined at first. In any case, we just never got a welcoming membership feeling here - it felt like whenever we showed our cards at the barrier we'd be stopped for one pointless thing or another. Post submission note; We've given up on the Nuffield and joined the David Lloyd Gym near Anniesland. It costs 50% more and is slightly further from home with more traffic but one month in and we can see that it's totally worth it. They offer an altogether better value package and we've been made to feel very welcome and been treated like valued customers.

Fantastic experience: Private health care if you find it necessary

Negative experience: Over priced, badly run. And badly run down. Ancient broken equipment. Filthy toilets and showers. And don't put your car keys in your locker or it will be gone by time u get out the filthy Jacuzzi..

Fantastic experience: A great gym which is usually quiet. If you go in the last two hours of the day then it's adults only time. There's always plenty of equipment available to work with. It also has many classes in in a week and two studios and a cycle studio too. There is also tennis facilities, golf course and events hire too.

Negative experience: worst coffee ever, can I give less than one star! ?

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing gym for the price. The facility is clean, spacious and modern and staff are friendly. It is not only a great place to work out, but also RELAX. The cafe is a bonus. Once you join, you will find it is hard to live without!!

Positive experience: Fantastic gym with great facilities and a beautiful scenery surrounding it. The staff were extremely helpful and the equipment was quite new. There was also a fancy hairdresser inside and a posh café. The building was a bit old though (no where as New as the one in Finnieston Road). Also hated the fact being surrounded by posh people (way too posh for me) as well as the fact as this location is so difficult to access (the two in Finnieston are by Exhibtion Centre and the one in Giffnock is by Muirend Station). 22 minute walk from Milngavie Station. Also way too expensive for the membership. PureGym is nearly a quarter of the price.

Negative experience: Premium gym sadly offering substandard services. Distinct lack of staff. They should rename this place Nuffin Works as 50% of gym equipment has a fault, no-one cares and the place is going downhill.
