Negative experience: One of the equipment in the club is always broken or the jacuzzi pool is usually broken. I don't know why the membership is so expensive?? what do you do with the all of the money people give you???

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and accommodating staff when I visited for a potential onboarding a couple of days ago. Cara was particularly helpful, and walked me through all of the locations in the large complex. I was a member there over ten years ago and the whole venue has had a vast array of improvements since then. Happy to have signed up now, thanks to Cara.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend David Lloyd west end, Having recently just joined we were made to feel welcome from the get go. Craig was excellent in showing us around the club and explaining all the benefits of being a member. Yes while it is the more expensive side you get what you pay for, The club is well underway in undergoing a massive refurbishment and once completed it will be hard to beat. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is plenty of equipment to utilise even at peak times, also looking forward to using the indoor and outdoor pool. Another positive is that unlike other fitness clubs there is a great family feel around the place so great for teaching our kids the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

Fantastic experience: First time in newly refurbished cafe area and what a breath of fresh air fantastic 5 star service by Grace and Dylan couldn't have made my first visit after a workout any better defo be a regular food was spot on also

Negative experience: I joined this gym to play tennis at first it was good now Compared to other DL clubs the lack of tennis adult classes here is shocking no adult tennis classes for example in the weekend the fact there are only two tennis class cardio in the evening the other ones you need to pay for. highly disappointed I have reverted to using the other DL clubs in Glasgow but this is my local one. so having to drive miles. most likely won't be renewing, the fact you can't speak to a manager is also strange probably due to the fact they don't do anything so pointless.

Fantastic experience: I just got a membership last week and I’m loving it already! Such a gorgeous gym, especially after the recent renovation and the staff are all so friendly! Sophie was so helpful getting me signed up and answering all my questions, felt totally at ease!

The gym is always clean, and I love the spacious layout—there’s never that overcrowded feeling, even during peak times. Positive experience: Noticed that yoga/ pilates studio's floor, is not very clean, bearing in mind we take our shoes off before entering room..something like glue on the floor..and has been there for a few days..

Fantastic experience: I came for a tour last week with Sophie who was super helpful and really lovely and welcoming. She took time to get to know me, answered all my questions and worked out the best subscription option for me. There was no pressure at all, I felt really comfortable and at ease with the whole signing up process. I had my first PT session in the gym with Louis today and was not disappointed, he was recommended by Sophie as being a good match for me and she was spot on. I am already booked back in and looking forward to my next session.The refurbishments are ongoing but I am already impressed with the equipment, range of exercise options available and the classes and availability. There is really no excuse now. I think it’s going to be a great investment!

Fantastic experience: Went to the club room this morning before my workout, ordered a top banana and the smoked salmon with eggs, staff were very swift in making me the the shake and the salmon came very quickly, tasted so amazing same with the shake. Definitely got me through my workout, definitely going again.

Fantastic experience: I can’t believe how beautiful each newly refurbished area of the club is shaping to be! My favourites so far are the Mind and Body studio and the first half of the club room, the book corner is an absolute hit with my kids. The team are all amazing, from approachable and pro-active managers to lovely receptionists, bar team and lifeguards. Can’t forget to mention the amazing DL Kids team, swim coaches and tennis coaches - top notch bunch!

Fantastic experience: DL Tennis Program offers a fantastic blend of competitive and developmental opportunities for all ages. Their innovative tennis box leagues ensure players of all skill levels can enjoy regular, competitive match play, helping them stay sharp and improve their game. Additionally, the kids tennis program is outstanding, fostering a love for the sport from an early age while teaching young players essential skills in a fun, supportive environment. With Maia, tennis players are given the perfect platform to grow, compete, and thrive in the game they love!

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of being shown around the facilities at David Lloyd by Chloe, and she was absolutely fantastic. Not only was she incredibly friendly and welcoming, but her knowledge of the facilities was top-notch. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and with complete honesty, which I really appreciated. Chloe also went above and beyond by recommending a personal trainer she thought would be a perfect fit for me! Overall, it was a wonderful experience, thanks to her professionalism and genuine care.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing, my 3 year old loves DL Kids team. Special shout to Kerry, Jessica, Liam, Marcia, Molly, Cammy, Chloe, Charlotte and Fiona for putting a lot of creativity, effort, and time into kids classes, making it a friendly and safe environment for sport experience. The variety of activities gives my child a chance to play with other kids, make new friends, have fun and experience different sports. Classes vary and include sports such as football, basketball, or athletics, as well as fun games, for example scooter squat, lego or play evenings. In addition, they offer swim or tennis classes. Excellent ideas for kids activities which give you absolutely no excuse to skip gym sessions or sport classes for adults. I also like their variety of food menu, they have specials for kids too. Extremely friendly and safe environment. I would recommend it to everybody.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant club, fantastic tennis session (especially Cardio Tennis - Maia is great as a coach!; and social tennis sessions are also grea). I can't say enough positive things about it - having 3 kids enjoying swim lessons, and tennis classes, plus different multisport 'squads' every day with DL Kids, allowing me and my wife to use pool and the gym, saving us a lot of time - we used to take the kids to different sport classes all around the town, and had to wait for them, doing nothing ourselves; Sure, there are some details that could be better, especially now, during the transformation, but that can't take away even half a star from overall experience; staff and coaches are absolutely amazing;

Fantastic experience: Had previously ended my membership due to a location change, but after the upgrades to the gym, I am thrilled to be back; and makes me realise what I was missing. Love the tennis options, and the outdoor pool is so refreshing. Sophie from Sales was super helpful at setting up myself along with my family, giving loads of good tips along the way!

Fantastic experience: Having decided I really need to work on my fitness I took a tour with Sophie at the weekend. Sophie was lovely and so reassuring about people of all abilities being around, she also got me set up with my PT sessions that will start this week to help me get the most out of the kit according to my own needs. Having the outdoor pool is so relaxing, and the facilities are excellent. I can't wait for the spa to open in November.

When joining I was met by Sophie who took excellent care of me and made the joining process so easy. The new gym facilities are brilliant and new pool is state of the art. Fantastic experience: Sophie gave us a really thorough walk through of the facilities and was able to answer - honestly - all and any questions we had. It was nice to hear her own personal experience of using the club too and helped us get a feel for the different classes. Sophie put us really at ease and made us feel very comfortable, which was lovely. We then used Louis (and have continued to use Louis) to get us started on our first few gym sessions. Louis has been amazing and has put us so at rest and helped to build our confidence. The whole thing feels like a completely shift in lifestyle and we are loving it. Can’t wait till our wee boy can get involved in the classes too next year! We have used the crèche - girls could not be nicer.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing open gym! Highly recommend for All, especially families! The ambience , the state of art machines, variety of classes, ease of booking and fantastic staff. Had a great induction with Craig who was thorough and assisted us through our concerns. The swimming pools are huge and everything is so clean. There’s such variety of classes and things to do here that you can’t get bored. The cafe menu is fab and love the holistic concept throughout. Looking at all the outside activities we were doing for the kids , the monthly subscription works out cheaper as a family of 6. 100% recommend

Fantastic experience: I have been attending David Lloyd Anniesland for many years and have to say what a wonderful club it is! There is such an array of different activities and classes that there is something for all! Aside from the cleanliness and great facilities, the best asset of the club is most definitely the staff. Whilst all the staff are very accommodating and willing to help, I would like to highlight my recent experience with Chloe from the sales team. I had many queries regarding additional people on my membership, swimming lessons and the crèche. Chloe was extremely informative and was able to answer all my questions in great detail. She had such a lovely and positive attitude it made the experience a pleasant one . Chloe was even kind enough to spend time with myself after to help me navigate the David Lloyd app and add my daughter and step son on to my membership ! Thank you Chloe :)

Fantastic experience: I came for a walk round yesterday with my sister, mum and niece. Chloe chatted with myself to find out what I was looking for from the gym and then completed a really informative walk round. She was able to answer all of my questions and was very knowledgable about all areas of the place. At the end of the tour, I was so impressed that I signed up there and then. I have already been for my first day today and really enjoyed it. Thank you Chloe for all your help yesterday.

Fantastic experience: We’ve not been members of David Lloyd for very long but immediately started to reap the benefits of joining the club. Absolutely everyone you speak to there is just so lovely, from Caroline and the girls at the front desk to the PT’s in the gym. We spoke to Chloe when we were thinking of joining – she was brilliant to deal with and we never felt under pressure to make a decision about joining or not. We asked her a million questions, probably some that were totally irrelevant, but she was just so friendly and patient with us. Chloe gave us a full tour of the facilities and was so knowledgeable about the classes, the timetables, the way everything worked etc. We also spoke to Sophie, who was super, super lovely. She gave us some brilliant recommendations for PTs and her advice has absolutely paid off – we are currently working with Matt and Louis, who are excellent, and we get along with them so well. We’ve also had beginner’s tennis lessons with Jessica who was very sweet and clearly incredibly skilled. Everyone at DL West End is so informed and generally just lovely to be around, as if they can’t do enough for you. It doesn’t feel like going to a normal gym at all and has honestly been an exceptional experience since we very first joined. The membership is pricey, but if it's affordable to you then I would say it is 100% worth the extra money. The people are great, the facilities are brilliant, the classes are excellent and the PT's are absolutely fabulous. 10000/10 would recommend.
