Tenbury Swimming Pool

Fantastic experience: I use Tenbury pool and gym regularly. The place is always clean and tidy, and the team are great!

Positive experience: It has a swimming pool and gym and also has a room where Zumba etc takes place. Womens , mens and family changing all with showers. Friendly staff. They know you by name which is a nice touch as it makes you feel more comfortable. Monthly, annual or pay by session. I'd advise you to pay monthly or annually for the pool as it is cheaper than by each visit. It has had new windows , new boilers, new seats for people to watch the pool and changing rooms have been done up to an ok standard, there are still things being done to the centre to make it better . Cannot tell you about the gym or any classes as I only use the pool. Sometimes the pool can be cold but you do warm up . That's the only reason I've given it 4 stars as the temperature of the pool is not always spot on . Oh and there is water aerobics which comes with your swimming membership.

Fantastic experience: Great pool... lovely staff. Kids love it here. Changing rooms are adequate, and lockers are secure from what I've seen thus far. Ample parking available. Pricing is average for most fitness centres/swimming pools. Only downside is that open swim /family swim times are very limited, although this is common is most pools these days

Negative experience: I’d give zero stars if it were possible. Sent email in to cancel membership 20/11. Membership still not cancelled. Have reported to my bank under the direct debit guarantee scheme. Chased five times for a refund. No one calls you back when you are trying to cancel membership. They call you back when you are trying to sign up though!

Positive experience: Travelled quite a distance to take my grandson swimming only to find out the main part of the day was taken up with swimming lessons. Maybe an idea for their website to warn at what times the pool is actually open to swim. Very disappointed

Fantastic experience: Place looks dated but.....great gym facilities to use if your working away from home and looking to keep up your gym routine, a good sized pool what more do you need and set in a beautiful stunning area.

Positive experience: Too much chlorine in the water, but the morning swimming is so relaxing here, it's so peaceful and not too busy

Negative experience: Still has COVID limitations on numbers in the pool. Only 20 allowed during family swim. Website says there are no longer any limitations — so a wasted trip.

Positive experience: A great venue to swim, needs a more enthusiastic welcome..maybe 2 stools for friendly staff..A nice place to socially interact..& get fit with the additional gymnasium..

Fantastic experience: We were in Tenbury Wells for the weekend as fancied a swim. This leisure centre whilst small is a bit of a gem. Well staffed, loads of free parking, cheap prices and most importantly the pool is a good size, clean and is nice and warm.

Negative experience: Still half the lockers don’t work in the changing rooms, and there are none outside. This has been a big problem when they lock you out of them during a school lessons! No hand sanitisers in gym - big H&S no no.

Positive experience: Very dated pool, changing rooms etc need to be updated and cleaned more

Negative experience: This used to be great and both my kids learned to swim here but recently the staff have been disinterested and unpleasant to the point of being rude. As a result the kids now go to the Ludlow pool and love it

Positive experience: dirty pool, dirty cubicles, dirty spectactors. otherwise, very enjoyable and good range of floats etc

Negative experience: Staff are great, seems clean enough and safe. Problem is that the premises are physically ruined. Half the lockers don't work, benches are broke, tiles are cracked. Locks got changed on the lockers, now the key numbers don't match the locker numbers..I could go on but you get the idea. Shame cos the overall experience is good.

Fantastic experience: Two years later and refurbishment, great changing rooms and showers,3 lane swimming 7h-9h15 , bravo Great small swimming pool and health centre, friendly staff, Sunday morning swimming with lanes until 9am, Just a shame about the changing room and showers , they are getting old , hopefully refurbished in November

Fantastic experience: Went with our grandson today, a very good experience. Was pleasantly surprised to find the Coffee Morning taking place an excellent idea for raising money for the pool. We go regularly and are very pleased with the quality of the lessons for the very young and the helpfullness and politeness of the staff. Well done everyone.

Positive experience: Been swimming here since I was a kid. Great pool but the cleanliness of the changing rooms is now awful.

Positive experience: Really good, but lost about 10 min of paid swim time because of having to wait for school swimming to finish. Lockers are useless but believe these are being replaced.

Fantastic experience: A friendly place for a family swim or a solo training session & everything in between. Safe and not expensive, plenty of parking with a play park and many walks around the pool. The town is a short stroll with a library, cinema and fast food plus shops,cafe's & many other amenities. Good wheelchair access.

Fantastic experience: Community owned facility with great facilities for a small town. The pool water is always clean & warmer than most pools. The gym has modern Techno gym equipment with good trainers for the circuit sessions.

Positive experience: Recently refurbished women's changing rooms, has made this place feel better. Nice little swimming pool if you just want to go for a swim with family. If you are on your own, like me and do not want children splashing everywhere. Go on Sunday after 12, as the pool is empty because all the families are heading home to have Sunday lunch! Many a time I have been the only swimmer from 1-2 pm.
